My husband and I stayed here one night as a stopover on our way back to the States. The hotel had a lot of charm and we enjoyed our brief stay. Free breakfast was great and I enjoyed the art work in the hotel. Good value for the price.

Me and my mother arrived and found out that there was no a/c!! We almost had to switch rooms because the toilet did not work. You could not flush toilet paper down through it. I found that very unsanitary since you had to put your waste on a trash can. In addition, one of the supposed new towels, had a huge whole on it. this is a budget hotel. furnishings and furniture in the rooms were well worn. my room had no AC, only a ceiling fan and windows that opened, so the heat was only just bearable. location is not bad. about 6-8 blocks to beaches and main tourist areas.

Walking distance of beach and centre of Miraflores. Staff very helpful. No a/c but a ceiling fan that was efficient. in the comments book everyone spoke highly of the staff except for one californian couple who complained that they had lost their bag in Lima and it contained their safe key from the room and the hotel wanted to charge them $30 for the […] replacement. Because they moaned so much the hotel waived the charge but they still were not happy. If this was the only negative review then I would be glad to stay there again. Lisez la suite

I stayed two nights with my family, and it was enough. It was clean, nice, good breakfast, and good staff; but the main reason I go to a hotel is to spent the nights, and have a good rest. This was not possible because of the old mattresses. For the price we paid, we expected more. Location wise is very appealing, although the street it is on is very […] noisy because of traffic. I offered a morning call at 4:00am beacause I had to take a early flight but they did not. I think they has less communications each other.

Old world elegance at a price you can afford. Part of the hotel is in a elegant and well restored house. The staff were really helpful. We needed to get tires and they called around and found what we wanted.

On the edge of a nice area of restaurants, etc but 7 blocks away. Mismash of furniture (our room was mostly oak but also had a wicker chair and couch with cheap white cushion). New jacuzzi tub but rug needed to be replaced. Used by low end tour groups. One had every chair in the lobby occupied when we arrived as the waited for several hours for ride […] to airport. People working there very nice. So we had a mixed impression of it and would seek to try another hotel in Lima when we come back. Hotel Antigua was one of the best hotel that we stayed in while visiting Peru. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous. Loved the breakfast. Luggage storage while traveling to Cusco. Clean hotel and comfortable surrounding area to walk in even at night. Would highly recommend it.

If you like personal hotels that feel like family, this is the hotel for you in Lima/Miraflores. Staff are helpful and pleasant, the location is an easy walk to all the restaurants and attractions, the food is not fancy, but it is inexpensive, simple and adequate. If your prefer the sameness of 4-star chains, where it might be Lima, London or Los Angeles, […] stay at the much more expensive Casa Andina Private Collection and leave this hotel to those who appreciate it.. This hotel is located in Miraflores in a nice neighborhood! You felt safe walking around and were close to many sights. Unfortunately it is a very scary experience driving in a taxi in Lima! It took us almost an hour to get to the airport which is about 8 1/2 miles away. Traffic is horrific! Breakfast was decent. You need to be really careful with the […] hot water. It is turned up very high and if you make the mistake of turning on hot water first in shower, you will be scalded. cannot reach the faucet without getting burned! other than that the grounds are very beautiful and would definitely stay there again! I honestly have no idea of why this hotel would be rated 2 1/2 stars; I think it deserves 3 1/2 easily. The rooms are charming. We had a room on the top (3rd floor) off of a large outdoor patio. The inside of the hotel is lovely and comfortable and the restaurant quite good, especially considering the reasonable prices. It was easy walking distance […] to many things in Miraflores and to buses that take you to other districts in Lima. Most of all, this staff goes above and beyond in terms of service, and for that alone - deserve 5 stars. I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly, good location. They cut some corners, though.Shower didn't work well, neither did television (hopefully you didn't come to Lima to watch TV). So, while I give it a thumbs up, I don't quite know if it was worth what I paid.

Nicely located in a safe neighbourhood, with only a short walk to the main tourist area in Miraflores. Decent restaurants and cafes are easily accessible on foot. The hotel has a quaint classical look, however the rooms are quite dated and could use upgrading. There was free wi-fi useable in the common areas. Service levels were fine and courteous. […] On the downside, the b/fast was disappointing and the coffee undrinkable. A cute looking convenient place to stay, but not really good value for money. This was the finest and most elegant of our hotels in Peru. Also the most expensive for our budget, but we considered it worthwhile. The location in Miraflores is close to everything but still very tranquil. Compared to others in the neighborhood, it was a good choice.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was older, but, personally, we think this just adds character. The location was very good., room was clean, and everything met our expectations. We'll stay there again if we go to Miraflores.

Decorated and styled like a large, turn-of-the-century house in the Miraflores district of Lima, this hotel is a hidden treasure. The location is perfect, at the same time near the shops and restaurants whilst in a relatively quiet residential area. Beautiful common areas; sitting areas with comfortable seating, breakfast room, and small courtyard. Very clean and nice rooms. Helpful staff. Great location to eating, beach and center of Miraflores. We definitely recommend.

charming, quiet hotel with a willing staff

The hotel itself is picturesque, and the staff extremely friendly (although one could argue that this is a characteristic common to most Peruvians in the tourism industry). Within walking distance of some very good restaurants, a large nightlife area (Calle de las Pizzas), the coastline (and para-gliding area) and several casinos. Two computer terminals […] and a full menu to choose from for your free breakfast are bonuses, in my opinion. Also has a large lounge area which is constantly populated by backpackers, giving it something of a cool hostel vibe. The only (slight) negative for me related to the comfort of my bed. It was a bit hard and the pillows not great, but I expect that when traveling abroad. What made things worse was really climate-related: we went during their "winter," which means it is cool yet humid. This gave everything in our room a "damp" feel, in particular the beds. Probably not their fault, but I didn't experience this in any other hotel in Peru. In all, a great choice. Lisez la suite

Fin beliggenhet mellom Kennedy Parken og stranda i Miraflores. Gammelt og antikt hotell, med hjemmekoselig stil. Frokosten var noe skuffende, men servicen var god.

El hotel es tal cual se lo presenta en las paginas web. Es muy agradable y está en una zona residencial de Miraflores, muy segura y caminable. EN las cercanías el Parque del Amor, la costanera espectacular y muy buen transporte. Excelentes restaurantes de todo nivel en las cercanías.

Buena acogida. Desayuno deficiente. Pasillo que lleva a habitacion en malas condiciones. Falta lugares tranquilos para leer y descansar. Lindas piezas. Personal muy atento.

El hotel está ubicado en sitio excelente. El ambiente es agradable y la atención excelente. Requiere sin embargo una renovación en las habitaciones (por ejemplo las alfombras)

Perfekte Lage, ruhig, sicher, zentral. Äusserst zuvorkommendes, hilfsbereites Personal. Grundsätzlich ruhige, saubere und schöne Zimmer, nicht riesig gross aber gemütlich - zur Zeit wird umgebaut, daher lärmig.

angenehmes Hotel mit freundlichen Damen an der Reception - Internet nd Safe keine Zusatzgebuehren.
