Excellent : bon accueil, service du petit déjeuner à l'heure précise, discrétion du personnel, chambre très propre. Néanmoins, il est dommage que les viennoiseries du petit déjeuner soit en sachets. Le petit désagrément fut le jour du départ, où à notre grand étonnement, il a fallut régler le montant du petit déjeuner en espèces car non compris, soi-disant dans le prix global. Surprenant !!! Mais globalement, la qualité des prestations est très bonne.

Hotel Villa Parco se trouve à Venise (Lido de Venise), à proximité des sites suivants : Venice Convention, Santa Maria Elisabetta et Plage du Lido. Les sites San Nicolò al Lido et Bateau-bus San Zaccaria se trouvent également à proximité.

L'île du Lido est située à dix minutes en bateau-bus de la Place Saint-Marc. A la fin du XIXe siècle, c'était la station balnéaire la plus chic d'Italie. Cette barre de sable de 18 kilomètres est aujourd'hui moins à la mode, même si quelques hôtels célèbres dotés d'une plage privée lui confèrent toujours une touche de glamour, tout comme le festival du film de Venise, qui a lieu en août ou septembre. L'été, les plages sont très populaires auprès des touristes italiens et étrangers.

Chambre agréable et confortable, pare-douche cassé cependant. Très belle vue cependant mais loin de la rue commerçante du Lido et de l'accès au Vaporetto permettant de se rendre à Venise même. Il faut prendre le bus, compter environ 15 minutes de trajet + l'attente.

A notre arrivée l hôtelier nous a donne la clef de notre chambre. Quand nous sommes rentres dans la chambre une très mauvaise odeur en est ressortie. Une odeur de renfermee, de la poussière partout et les murs d' une saleté innommable. Les draps étaient tout de même propre. J ai ouvert la chambre le temps d' aller visiter Venise et a mon retour l odeur […] y était toujours. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel et dieux sait si je vais dans bcp, d'hôtels mais la vraiment rarement vu un hôtel aussi délabre et sale et je n ai pas parle de la salle de bain (je n ai pas pu me laver des cheveux partout et sale tout simplement) ça me donnait pas envie d' attraper une saleté. A ne surtout pas prendre comme hôtel, chambre du sol au plafond, clim non entretenue, même les ampoules d éclairage ne fonctionne pas toutes, salle de bain très très sale, nous avons même retrouvé un savon fondu dans la douche, portes de douche qui ne tienne pas debout, service......comment dire..... I spent 2 nights with my friend in this hotel in june 2011: it appears obvious that this hotel does not deserve its 3 stars at all: it is not clean and the service is even not polite. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Youth Hostel Room at best"
The hotel is a converted old non maintained rundown villa. No elevator, room located on second floor with multiple set of stairs per floor around 16 stairs each floor. Hotel is 30 minutes walking to the right after getting off the vaporetta. There is a bus that does the route and runs every 15 minutes, but not as frequent in evenings and not sure till […] when at night. I arrived at night and walked it...was very tired when I arrived and then to go up 2 floors with just a small suitcase and knapsack was challenging. The guy at the night desk helped me, which was unusual, and it was his last day at work too...so don't count on anyone helping. The room was poorly planned, with multiple leveled floors in a small room and i almost broke my neck on the step to the bathroom, which I did not expect or notice, besides two other separate steps in the small room with 3 single beds (different sizes, one really small, that looked like it was a 20 year old hand me down). The rug was old, run down, with disgusting stains on it, which they put two small rugs on top. Did not get bit by bed bugs, which I was afraid of, due to the condition of the beds. the a/c did not work, nor did the old tv. The breakfast which I did not pay for, just went to look, is a continental one very limiting and totally not worth even a euro, they were chargining 5 euros. They also don't tell you that there is a 2 euro city tax per noight. which i think hotel dot com should include in the price. great pastery shop near the vaporetta, worth stopping in and having a coffee and pastry for 3euros... there is a vaporetta from Lido to the airport, but i recommend to not stay here and rather stay at a town near venice and take the train in, better money better value for your money. alos the airport closes at 1 am and opens at 4:30, so if you plan to stay at the airport for an early flight , take that into consideration. I highly recommend to seek a room somewhere else, unless they lower the price to 20 euros.. Lisez la suite
"Cheap - but don't expect much."

While I ended up liking the location of the hotel, it was NOT in Venice, it was in Lido a short boat ride from Venice, even tho my confirmation said Venice. There was no elevator and it was several levels. The breakfast was not free, but cost 5 Euro and did not have a lot of variety. The guy checking us in did not go out of his way to help us with […] our bags when I had an eldery mother who had a hard time climbing steps and we needed help with All our bags... and I left my camera chip behind and instead of checking the room and calling me back, he said the maid did not find anything. Maybe us Americans are spoiled, but I am used to more customer service. I would pay for it! It was right next to a canal on Lido and just a short bus ride for 1.50 Euro to down town or a brisk 20 minute walk. It was also right next to the beach and the view of Venice, and I got to see some fireworks over Venice on Saturday night so that was a treat. Beautiful community and much more laid back than Venice. Shopping is still good there and we enjoyed a message at an official Thai spa that was down town too. The boat ride to and from Lido is an adventure and part of the whole Venice experience. The lodging accomodation was convientally located in Venice. The hotel and neighborhood are family friendly. The room itself was small with a musty smell. There were insufficient outlets to accomodate basic electronic gadgets, such camera battery, cell phone, children DS, etc .

Location is good in Lido, the bus stop is near the hotel. Rooms and hotel was OK, breakfast poor. the best thing was the receptionist. His name is Riduan and was very friendly, gave us very good advices and was always there when we needed something. Him alone was what was worth beeing there.

"We got robbed!!!"
This hotel ruined our trip to Lido/Venice. The room was falling apart. Paint was peeling off walls. cracks everywhere. Beds were hard. The shower doors were off their hinges. The Air conditioning did not work. The tv did not work because you could not plug in the satellite box. Not even close to a 3 star hotel. We stayed in 2 star hotels that put this […] place to shame! When we inquired about the tv and air condition we got no help and simply said sorry we can not do anything about it. The hotel staff was not accomodating and they really did not seem to care about guests. We stayed in a total of 8 budget hotels in 6 different cities in both Italy and Greece and this was the worst hotel experience. This hotel is not worth the prices they charge and would strongly recommend looking elsewhere!!! My wife and I honestly have nothing to nice to say about this hotel. STAY AWAY!! Lisez la suite

Great old 3 storey villa locationed on a waterfront, 3 mins from Lido beach and 10 mins from main shopping and ferry terminal. The Lido is a welcome break after a day battling the heavy foot traffic of Venice. Room was large and servicable with a fridge but no cooking facilities and good sized en suite with over-bath shower. "You get what you pay for."
This hotel is not very nice, honestly. The location is good if you're looking to stay outside of Venice, as Lido Beach is really pretty and quiet, yet has a lot to do in terms of food and night life. The water taxi in to Venice is convenient but kind of expensive. The hotel staff seemed to be very confused, as they all told us different things when […] we asked questions. The receptionist when we arrived told me they offer laundry services, but could not give me information on prices and told me to "just ask the guy here in the morning," who told me that they don't offer laundry services, but that the housekeeper might do it for us if we pay her (this is just one example). We thought it was a little sketchy. The bedrooms were pretty dirty. They smelled like sewage and we found bugs under the sheets on the bed. We opted to stay here because Venice can be kind of expensive, and the reviews of this place made it seem to be decent for the low price. Plus we traveled to several cities in several countries during this trip so our days were pretty jam-packed and we just wanted a place to sleep and shower, and this barely offered that. Only a 15 minute walk to main street and the water buses. You can also take the bus if you don't want to walk. Very charming place with a garden and sitting area on the porch. "Hotel Villa Parco - great location and price"
The hotel is a charming, older building with very large rooms. The best thing about being there in the summer, besides proximity to Lido beach (2 blocks) and Venice (easy access by water bus), was the fact the our room was AIR CONDITIONED! The staff was friendly and spoke some English. No amenities at the hotel, but the Lido area was 1/2 km walking […] where there were nice restaurants, bars and shops. It is an small, nice, and well located hotel in Lido. Customer service was good, and overall the hotel fit my needs. I travel with my son to Venice, and enjoy the quiteness of this hotel. El hotel es viejo y hace tiempo que no hacen reformas. En la habitación habia nevera, aire acondicionado y televisor pero ninguna de las tres cosas funcionaba. La cama muy cómoda.

Отель находится на острове Лидо, который находится в стороне от центра города - на конечной остановке водяного трамвайчика вапоретто. Но от него легко доехать водным, основным в городе, транспортом до Мурано и до аэропорта. До центра города 15 минут. Остров курортный - на нём отличный пляж. На острове есть общественный транспорт - в остальном городе […] нет. От отеля 15 минут пешком до вапоретто. Сервиз по хорошему ненавязчивый. Персонал видел только на заселении - портье, который выдал ключи. Но номер ежедневно убирался на отлично. В номере спокойно оставлял ноутбук и все приобретения. место тихое. Een charmant hotelletje op het Lido, echt vergane glorie: een imposante lobby met sobere kamers waarin alles net genoeg werkt. De dame achter de balie zou wat minder moeten toneelspelen en wat meer service moeten bieden. Zeer betaalbaar hotel - zeker voor Venetiaanse standaarden - op een fijne, rustige locatie.

Hotellet er meget slidt - tæpper, trapper, foyer, have, værelser mv. lider stærkt under det. Men det virker relativ rent (skal lige siges at jeg selv er rengørings-facist). Men det er ok hyggeligt, at personalet er (efter italiensk standard) meget flinke og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden er billig - men også derefter! Beliggenheden er tilgengæld skøn og […] fredelig og Lido'en er fantatisk. Skal I bare have et par dage i Venedig med lidt strand (og minimum tid på værelset) kan jeg godt sige ok, men skal I tilbringe lidt mere tid på værelset og gerne vil have et hotel med en god morgenbuffet, så NEJ. "A terrible experience"
Location is definitely inconvenient. The hotel is nearly 5 km away from Lido port. No customer service at all: when we arrived the hotel at about 19:00 to check in, no one in the reception and have to wait and ring the bell for more than 20 minutes before the guy came. When we had a bath, we found that no hot water was available. Again the guy in the […] reception disappeared. No matter we called for help for mote than an hour, no one came!! When we checked out and told him about our experience, he put the blame on us that we did not call him!!! Conclusion: never never book this hotel unless you want to disappoint yourself ! "fawlty towers"
Hotellet låg trevligt till och var förhållandevis billigt. Vårt rum låg högst upp. Trasiga möbler och sprucket handfat. Takfönster. På kvällen regnade det. När vi kom hem var ena halvan av sängen dyblöt. Regnat in genom takfönstret. Portiern ville inte komma med och titta/hjälpa till. Vi fick lite nya lakan, men ingen ny madrass. Da vi kom dit, var det næremere 40 grader på rommet, da vi spurte om det var mulig å slå på air condition, fikk vi beskjed om at det brukte de ikke på den tiden av året (selv om det står i beskrivelsen at de har det)... På hotell beskrivelsen står det at det er balkong å alle rom, det er det IKKE. De har visst nok ett ro med balkong... Hårføner eksisterte […] heller ikke. Rommene var heller ikke spesielt rene. Ci è stato detto che la prima colazione NON era prevista! Un 3 stelle senza colazione!? E' innamissibile! L'Hotel è da 1 stella soltanto, non da 3! Pulizia della camera insoddisfaente. Moquett macchiata e sporca, telecomandi tv tenuti insieme con lo scotch lercio, saponette usate da altri clienti dimenticate nella doccia, ecc..

Hotellet er placeret yderligt- haven var misligholdt og det lignende mere en kulisse fra en dårlig film- en hver form for oprydning var et femmedord-det var ren kulisse. Tæpper på gulvene lå tilfældigt og en dårligt gående vil uværgerlig falde- information om hotellet og faciliteter var fuldstændig glemt. Værelset var lille- vandforsyningen var der […] ikke. hanen ved håndvasken kunne ikke fylde et glas på 20 minutter- bruseren gav vand armaturet var knækket og brusekabinen var årgang 70.
