Excellent hotel in a great location. Workable kitchenette in room with lots of nice extra touches provided. Soundproofing to the corridor could be a little better but that was only a very minor issue in what was an overall great experience. Would stay there again and would recommend to others.

Great location for family with young children. Room fairly clean, comfortable and spacious. My daughter (2 years old) enjoyed Whistler and the hotel so much that we ended up staying an extra night. While certainly a really nice hotel, it's not the nicest in Whistler. However, it is typically the best bang for the buck. Staff is nice and friendly, pool is warm even in winter, and the hot tub works great. Zero complaints for the times I have stayed. Far better than other hotels in town in the same price range.

The Summit Lodge and Spa was very easy to locate and provided excellent parking below the hotel. It was located at the far end of the village near the Olympic Plaza so it was quiet in comparison to some of the hotels closer to the hill. Shuttles were provided for the skiers and snowbarders but my son walked and was fine with that! The hotel is also […] closer to a major grocery store so if you did not want to pay the inflated prices at the local restaurants you could cook in your room. The rooms provided dishes, cookware,a small cooktop, a microwave and a fridge. The hotel is also pet friendly and there were more than a dozen dogs in the hotel. The front dest provides a stainless steel bowl for food and complimentary pick-up bags. There is a little forrested area behind the hotel for a quick walk as well. The whole village seems to be dog friendly and there were lots obviously staying at other hotels as well. Great trails to walk your pets in Whistler. The hotel itself is small and the staff was friendly. I booked my hotel well in advance and booked a 1 bedroom and when we got up to our room I was a little confused when it was a small room with 2 queen sized beds. I immediately called down to the front desk and the manager came up right away. She apoligized and offered a larger room and a $100 credit and free parking for our stay. The new room was quite big with a king sized bed, 2 balconies and a living /dining area with a pull-out couch, as well as a small kitchenette. Not quite what I ordered since my adult son was joining us but much better than the first room we saw. The bathroom was also much bigger than the standard room but there was an issue with the drainage in the tub when you had a shower and it took some time to drain. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was immaculate. Considering the amount of dogs in the hotel, the room showed no signs of pet hair. Suite Room was nice comfortable, clean. The staff was helpful in every way and location is good. Very good for the price. Enjoyed everyminute of my stay I would definetly stay again.

A curved shower rod would have been a nice touch, but otherwise the tub/tiling were in good condition and water temperature was fine. - While in-room wifi was free, it was so painfully slow as to be useless on my tablet. Great restaurant downstairs (Elements), coffee shop across the street, private shuttle service to ski lift and back. Great location near Whistler Marketplace. Friendly helpful staff. Comfy beds, kitchenette. Thoroughly enjoyed my New Year's Eve weekend with husband and 9-year-old son.

A bit of a hike to the Gondola, hideously small underground parking and the hot tub isn't that big. But otherwise a very nice hotel, in much better shape than many nearby hotels at comparable rates.

nice friendly hotel great location

Because I love my dog I really appreciated how welcoming the hotel was to my beloved pooch. I also loved the ambience of the hotel and the location as well. The staff at the front desk were very friendly which made me definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and would get me to come back the next time I travel to Whistler.

Hotel is in a great location - close to the village stroll but not right on it so it was nice and quiet at night. The staff was very nice, room clean and the kitchenette was all we needed to have the odd meal in. Close to the Marketplace for groceries. The hot tub was nice (though jets weren't working) and we also enjoyed the sauna. Very satisfied with the room. It was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were also friendly and very helpful with our questions. Great location being close to the marketplace and cafes. Quiet location in terms of late night noise.

Very convenient location in the city as well for summer as winter stays, central city .

The entrance of the hotel was nice and the location was convenient. That is were the good stuff ends. On walking in the room I could smell a stale odour, possible as this is a pet friendly hotel. The sheets did not fit the beds, could not let our young boys on the deck as the railing was broken and they could have slipped through, there were nail clippings […] all over the deck. The room was ot very clean eaither with garbage under the bed and dust in placed the kids could get their hands. If you have kids look elsewhere. Lisez la suite

Everything was great, my only complaint would be that the pool size was too small.

I absolutely loved my stay at Summit Lodge and Spa; the hotel was clean, the staff courteous, and the rooms fantastic. It was excellent to have a kitchenette for food storage and prep! Also the location was wonderful as the hotel is right near the Olympic Plaza. Official check-in time is a bit late (4pm) but when we got there at 11am to stow our bags […] they said our room was ready and that we could check in early!! Summer prices were excellent. Room was spacious, comfortable and included a kitchenette, so we ate in half the nights. Wifi included in the rate for unlimited number of devices (rare these days). Our hotel couldn't have been any closer to everything you needed. I stayed in the executive room, which had a small kitchenette in it. The IGA was a 3 minute walk, and the liquor store only across the parking lot from the IGA. Need Starbucks? Again, a 3 minute walk. Great traditional French breakfast? Across the street. Hoping to catch a free concert? […] 3 minute walk to the main stage in victory square (my wife and I caught part of the Jason Mraz concert during our stay). We were also 5 minutes drive from the amazing Scandinave Spa which we also enjoyed on our trip. The ONLY blight we had on our trip was that the hotel's brand new hot water on demand system failed Sunday morning, leaving us with no shower before our drive home. This was nobody's fault however, I'm familiar with these systems and a fault soon after being installed isn't uncommon. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a weekend or more in Whistler! Lisez la suite

This hotel was a great location for our summer visit. Once you orient yourself, you find that you are as close as any to the Whistler Stroll and to the Peak to Peak Gondola. The hotel parking rate is a bit steep and the space is tight, but we were able to stay there until 4pm the next day. Though we had booked a two queen bed room, both beds appeared […] to be doubles and were a little hard. The room was modern, comfortable, clean and included a small kitchen with a two burner stove, fridge, micro and dishes. Like most of the Inns/Lodges near the Whistler Village Stroll, they are located above stores and restaurants, so delivery and service action can start early if you face the street. Whistler in the summer is a magnet for people and their dogs as well as mountain bikers., and this hotel caters to them. Don't be surprised if you share an elevator or a meal with a couple of dogs or bikes. Overall, our stay was pleasant and I would stay there again. Lisez la suite

Quite clean, but the kitchen and shower didn't really work that well. $22 for parking!!! careful with that!!

My wife,son and I allways stay at the summit when passing through Whisler.We really like the lacation and convienance of all the stores around it.The fact that we can bring our dog when we want is awsome! We find the prices very reasonable as well. Thanks for the stay Summit staff! Have a nice Day!!!

We stayed at this hotel during June for three nights. It was a good location in the Whistler village and close to all restaurants. Parking was $20 per night with free in/out privileges-we did not see where else we could have parked for free. We did use the hot tub(although it was kind of dirty), but the pool was very dirty, so we didn't use. The hotel […] was very nice, although when we asked for restaurant recommendations they continually kept telling us Elements (at the hotel) and other places around although they had never eaten at them (so it was hard to trust their opinion). This hotel was an excellent spot for us to have our honeymoon! First of all the location is awesome! Its beside Whistler Village but not inside of it. This is an added bonus because of how quiet the area is. Its about a ten minute walk to the Gondolas. Right next door to the hotel is a 7-11, an IGA and a KFC (super handy). The rooms are a nice size […] and super clean. The kitchens are loaded with all the tools you need to cook and eat in your room if you wish. The soaker tubs are huge and roomy. I think it was one of the best thing about the hotel. Its not super fancy so it is just fine to run down to the ice machine in your pjs.The staff are very helpful and polite. The only cons about the Summit is pool and the pillows. Worlds lumpiest pillows - the worst ever. Bring your own pillows!!! The pool only goes the 4'8 deep. Great place, great location and very clean!

The hotel was great, the room was clean, and the staff was excellent. I rented a stroller from another company for our stay and the stroller was dropped off at the front desk before we arrived and I left it with the front desk for them to call for pick up. It couldn't have been more convenient. The room was clean and in great condition and everything […] that was needed for a short stay. Having a child, the kitchenette was invaluable and my son loved the super-deep bath tub too. My only issues were the lack of sound-proofness of the door on the room. You could hear everything in the hall. I've stayed in places where you couldn't hear anything out in the hall way and with a 3-year old, silence is golden in the evening/night time hours. The worst thing was the underground parking lot which is the worst I've ever seen. The spots are so crammed together that I had to fold in my mirrors to park and I don't even have a big car. It was easily the worst parking lot I've ever had to use. I can't believe they charge for parking. In the end, I’d stay here again for another short stay. Lisez la suite

Front desk was friendly and helpful! The very clean room had all the conveniences for travellers on a budget namely stove top,microwave,fridge,cutlery and a few dishes. Toilet flushing noises from other rooms were quite noticeable in our top floor room which may bother some quests. Parking was an additional $20 night including tax. We've stayed at more than half a dozen places at Whistler, and Summit was by far the best for ease and convenience of ski storage and transportation. Secure ski lockers are provided, which can be accessed any time off the hotel foyer. They also provide a convenient van shuttle to and from the lower mountain bus loop, for which there was never a long […] wait. There is an Affinity Sports close by where you can rent equipment. The staff is excellent and exceptionally friendly and helpful, and hotel rooms are clean and well furnished. We didn't find much hallway or inter-room noise and it was dark at night. When the windows/doors are closed, very little noise comes in from the outside. All of these factors are important if you sleep lightly in Whistler. The only real problem we had with our room is that it was uncontrollably hot, overheated regardless of how the thermostat was set. Part of the problem is that hot spotlights are used in the kitchenette and bathroom (this is an issue at many places in Whistler), which can overwhelm the air system, which is a heat/air unit near the bed. After a sweltering first night, we shut off the air and kept window and balcony door cracked or open overnight, and this seemed (in early April) to keep the room at a comfortable temperature with the lights off.
