Crescent Resort On South Beach - Plage de Miami

Hôtel très bien situé pour un séjour repos à la plage mais très bruyant. Pas de double vitrage on a constamment l'impression que les fenêtres sont ouvertes tellement on entend le bruit de la route!! Etat général de l'hôtel moyen. Ménage quotidien plus que succinct !!!

On the strip (Ocean Ave.) where the hotels and restaurants have tables on the sidewalk. The street comes alive at 7pm to 10pm. The hotel is old but well kept considering. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping staff was very patient and friendly during our walks in the hallway and the front office staff very courteous and accommodating to our needs. I loved the art deco district, and of course the buildings are older. What upset me about our stay was that upon arrival only one of the four of us was able to get a shower because the shower switch broke when she pulled it out to raise the water from bath to shower. I was able to get a bath but we needed to wait til morning to get the shower repaired. […] I was expecting a full kitchen as advertised, and we at least expected a toaster and a microwave. There was no toaster and the microwave/convection oven never worked. The sofa bed was extremely hard, I didn't expect it to be great, but it was way too hard, not a mattress at all, but hard cushions. Okay if you had kids sleeping on it, but we had adults. I had an elderly couple with us, so we gave them the bedroom. I only stayed several days here for business and brought family along as well. Figured they could play while I worked. It was a great location, beach is directly across the street. I would recommend the hotel, but only to young couples not interested in using the "kitchen" at all except for the frig. I also didn't take into consideration that most of the art deco furniture is low and not easy for elderly people to use. Even the toilet was too low. Overall I would recommend the hotel to young couples looking to enjoy the nightlife and beach. There are wonderful restaurants everywhere, but parking is terrible. I thought I would stay on Ocean Blvd./ So. Beach and this seemed like a good deal. Location was what I wanted but the hotel was old and tired. Can't beat the location - right on South Beach, across from the beach and walking distance to all the hot spots - but far enough away that you can't hear it all when you are ready to sleep! Like having your own apartment - all the amenities you could need. Definitely would return.

The location was what we wanted. There was a park directly across from us and the beach beyond. I was in the foyer waiting for someone to attend to our check in for almost 25 minutes and I was the only person there. There were 4 us in the room and each day house keeping would supply the wrong amount of toweling stock. The compendium in the room we had […] was of very poor quality photocopying. Brochure info is abundant and there is a touring agent located in the foyer. Lots of dining options immediately next door and there is a starbucks a couple of hundred meters away - thank god. Clean room but the maid did not speak English so when I asked for towels I guess she thought we didn't want the room cleaned so it was not cleaned. The hallways had a mildewy stale smell that thankfully did not permeate into the rooms. Large bug in room but the bed was extremely comfortable! I did like the little goodie bag of shampoo samples.

The help desk was rarely around to take calls, Not customer friendly at all, location is ok but too Much noise at dawn from drunk and high bystanders. No valet, valet was from third party and too expensive.

The hotel was in a perfect spot...right across the street from the beach and also right on ocean drive. Just a short walk to the South Beach fun and also a short walk to the Lincoln Street Mall. Finding parking out front to check into the hotel and unload stuff was kind of tricky but they are really good with valet. Never had an issue of them taking […] car away or waiting for them to get car. The room was awesome! Loved the kitchen and living room area. Had a spa in the room and didn't even know it came with one beforehand. The king size bed seemed to be very clean and very soft. The room could use bigger TVs but who really watches TV on vacation anyways? The only problems we had was the little knob you use to pull out to turn the shower was broken but we didn't mind since it was a nice bathtub. They didn't get around to fixing it while we were there. The hotel seemed to have recently undergone a renovation, and the effects of this is unfortunately still clear. The carpets in the hall was very dirty, and some of the finer details in the room still seemed like it needed to be changed. Overall, had a great stay here. As other reviews have stated, it's in a great location across from the beach on the quietier end of one popular nightlife streets. The best things about the hotel are the great staff who are very helpful and attentive (though you may have to prod a bit), spacious rooms with well equipped kitchens, and free use of large […] beach towels and umbrellas. The things that the hotel lack which is likely reflected in its more moderate price compared to other hotels are the lack of a functional rooftop to lounge in (it's bare), a really old and extremely basic fitness center, pretty small TVs compared to the current higher end hotel trend, and the overall lack of nice balcony/patio space in the rooms and throughout the property. However, it's South Beach! You really aren't going to spend that much time in the hotel and there are tons of snazzy places to lounge throughout the entire area. I had a one bedroom suite with my 2 friends and we really had everything we needed at the hotel and were quite comfortable. The pull out couch was sufficient and easy to open/close, though by no means luxurious. All in all, you will get a pretty good bang for your buck at Crescent. Oh it's across from a Starbucks (right near the main beach entrance) so if you are a coffee fiend like me, you will agree it's truly in the perfect location. Lisez la suite

It was located in a perfect spot on Ocean Dr. The walk to the beach was literally across the street and the beach was beautiful. It was styled like an apartment with a full kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Tile floors throughout which is nice when you come back all sandy from the beach. There are lots of mirrors and windows and a tv in the kitfchen and bedroom. Much bigger than your typical hotel room. Very clean too. It's centrally located to almost everything. Tolle Lage, sehr gutes und günstiges Frühstück gleich nebenan. Zimmer allgemein o.k. aber teilweise renovierungsbedürftig. Bei der Rezeption gemeldete Mängel werden zwar zur Kenntnis genommen, aber (zumindest nicht während unseres Aufenthalts von 3 Nächten) nicht bearbeitet. (die auf manchen Seiten angegebenen 70 qm sind reichlich übertrieben)

Wir waren für drei Nächte im Crescent. Unsere Kriterien für die Auswahl waren: - zwei Räume - Kochgelegenheit - Nähe zum Strand Die Räume sind großzügig, sauber, gut ausgestattet und verfügen über viel Schrankfläche. Obwohl das Hotel direkt am Ocean Drive (oberes Ende) liegt, ist es sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In […] der Küche sind die wichtigsten Utensilien - von der Pfanne über die Kaffeemaschine, den Toaster und Mixer bis zum Geschirrspüler - vorhanden. Super ist die zentrale Lage am Ocean Drive. Einmal über die Straße und man ist nach drei Minuten Fußmarsch am Strand. Restaurants gibt es am Ocean Drive wie Sand am Meer. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß in die andere Richtung finden sich viele Geschäfte, weitere Restaurants und eigentlich alles, was das Herz begehrt. Ein kleiner, gut sortierter Supermarkt ist zwei Blocks entfernt, also auch ohne Probleme zu Fuß erreichbar. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es am Ocean Drive nicht wirklich. Deshalb haben wir den Wagen an der Rezeption zum "Valet Parking" abgegeben. Beim Checkin wurde uns klar und deutlich gesagt, dass das drei Dollar pro Tag kostet. Wir fanden das unglaublich preiswert und haben uns gefreut. Das Erwachen kam beim Check out, als uns dreißig Dollar pro Tag berechnet wurden. Was aber - verglichen mit den Parkhäusern in den Nachbarstraßen - ein Fairer Preis ist. Benötigt man sein Auto, genügt ein Anruf an der Rezeption und der Wagen steht 10 Minuten später vor der Tür. Det tillkommer en resortavgift som man får betala på plats, det får man i stort sett på alla hotell. Det är för handukar, städ mm.
