Woman at front desk was not very friendly and did not really seem to really want to deal with customers anymore than she had to. The pool and hot tub were nice. The door our room could have been better as it was not very secure and would have been nice if you could lock the deadbolt from the outside also. The door could have easily been broken into […] . "cheap in price, but not in quality"
this is a cheap motel we find through Hotels.com, but turns out the quality is not at a discount. There are fridge and microwave in the room, two queen-size beds, and clean shower and carpet. The drawbacks are that Internet connection is poor (free though) and no complimentary breakfast (coffees are free). The location is just fine when you have a car. […] And it's very quiet at night. We had a very nice time, but we commented on loud noises we heard early in the a.m. when we checked out and the lady seemed unconcerned. We did not see anyone, but were anxious. It did not last long, but we thought she should have checked on our complaint.

It was very clean, but needs some updating. The window air conditioner was noisy, but worked well. Rooms were very clean. We loved it there, and would have liked to walk the trail if we had the time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again in the future. Well worth the price!!

"Indian trail motel"
grew up in Wis and so enjoy these unique non-chain hotels. Family run, and so very inexpensive for the Dells in the summer. Food on the premises, complimentary coffee, for those who like pools, an indoor and an outdoor. Would stay again....seems to be part of the essence of the Dells.

Great indoor pool and whirlpool. The room was cozy and had ample lighting, and the bed was very comfortable. Missed the outdoor pool because of thunderstorms, but it looked very nice and I am sad I didn't get a chance to take advantage of it. The staff was nice and helpful. i loved this motel! i'm always a bit uncomfortable staying in hotels, but as soon as we got there it was instantly comfortable. once i saw it was older i was concerned but it was cleaner than some 4 star hotels i've stayed at! we will definitely be coming back next year. the woman working the front desk was great, she gave us a lot of information on […] sites to see and which ones to skip since we were only there a limited time. the 25% off coupons helped of course. overall a great motel! The room was clean and the location was good. I would stay here again if it was only for a night or two. There wasn't a coffee maker in our room as advertised. They need to put in drapes that cover the bottom part of the window. No one can see in, but the light shining through makes it hard to sleep at night

I stayed at Indian Trail just to check it out during my Dells trip, as I saw it had good reviews and it was reasonably priced. The room was very clean and the pools were very nice. I also LOVED the food at Mimi's which was the restaurant walking distance from the motel (pretty much on the property)! The staff was also friendly and the location was excellent...literally […] seconds from downtown Dells! Between the great restaurant, there was also a full gas station/convenient/liquor store that I walked to from the motel that was very convenient. The only thing I would have to complain about during my stay was the fact that the beds were rock hard and I had minor back issues during the two nights I had to sleep there and the water pressure in the shower was great, but the water kept switching back and forth during my shower from warm to hot...it wasn't consistent. This hotel is a GREAT little place. From the time you check in, you FEEL welcome by the owners. It may be an older place, but kept better than some of the new hotels you see. The […] hotel has a great layout with the indoor pool and outdoor pool. They also have a nice hot tub for use. The other thing I appreciate is that you HAVE TO BE 21 to rent a room. The owner does not want to have parties until 3 am, rather she wants people to be rested up for a great day in the dells. Many of the other hotels around here rent at 18 which can lead to nothing but loud parties. The other benefit of this hotel is that it is on the end of the strip, far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to all the attractions (driving distance). There is also a nice restaurant in their parking lot which serves b-fast, lunch and dinner. We all had breakfast and it was affordable and GREAT food. We had a very nice stay at Indian Trail Hotel. We stayed a total of 4 nights in Wisconsin Dells. We stayed the first two nights at Wilderness Resort and the second two at Indian Trail. This was a good combination. Wilderness was jam packed with people and not very relaxing but did have indoor water parks which was good on cool days. Indian Trail Hotel […] is a clean well maintained Hotel from the 60's era. It had a nice outdoor pool which the kids loved and it was not near as crowded as the Wilderness resort. My 10 year old preferred Indian Trail. My 11 year old liked the combination of both. I would not hesitate in staying at Indian Trail again. It had a better selection of TV channels than Wilderness. The ice machine was closer to our room then Wilderness. Indian Trail also has a nice indoor pool. It is about 7/10 of a mile from the downtown dells which is close enough to walk if you want. We walked one night and drove another night. On days where you don't use one of the Water Parks at Wilderness you could spend the considerable savings from Indian Trail any way you wish to supplement your vacation. Indian Trails also had a Shufflebaord Court available outside with the equipment available to guests at no additional charge. Give it a try or like we did, stay a couple of nights at both types of places, both have some advantages. Indain Trail had a relaxing atmosphere. Lisez la suite

I was looking for a reasonably priced place to spend one night in the Dells, I did not want nor need anything fancy such as a water park. This place was perfect for me needs. "Great place"
We went to Dell just for 4 days, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Everything was walking distance and not directly were all of the shops are, so we could sleep in peaceful environment at night and nap during the day. Loved the fact of having in-door and out-door pools, got to love it. Behind the hotel, a trail where we spotted few deer, just […] a great place for a walk. "don't let price fool you!"
this place was the best of three we stayed in. ammenities amazing! not only are rooms reasonable, but able to walk to top attractions! has 2 pools and aFANTASTIC resteraunt on premises. staff goess out of way to make you comfortable and to follow any itenerary you may have. I am handicap and don't think i have ever been to better place.

This 60's motel has good management that knows how to keep up with maintenance and provide a clean room. The property ,while on the main street, is set back well off the road with a large lawn and a dozen huge oak trees. It's like a park with swing sets, park benches and the out door pool. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. We did get there in the middle of the night and had to ring the bell several times for someone to let us in. It's a smaller mom & pop, but very clean and well maintained. They also gave us a discount card which has buy one get one free on a lot of area attractions and restaurants. Our 1st room key was a little […] odd, since someone was already in the room, thankfully there was not a confrontation and they did have a little trouble finding our reservation. This hotel was wonderful for the price. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Only thing I would reccomend is to bring your own pillow, theirs are flat and hard. Other than that is was perfect for a weekend get away!!

"Indian Trails Hotel - basic room for one night"
The motel is near the tourist attractions of Wisconsin Dells. Appears to be a 60's - 70's vintage. The room was small, but clean and well maintained. Shower head is very low - if you are over 5' 10" you will shower on your knees to shampoo your hair. If you don't plan to spend much time in your room during the stay, it can work. Reasonable price.

"Well Maintained Mom & Pop"
It's a nice throwback to an earlier time of motor travel. (When was the last time you visited a motel that featured free ping-pong and shuffleboard?) The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are very clean. Staff is friendly. Furnishings are a bit worn around the edges, but the bed was nice and firm. Very good internet speed.

The motel was dated in its construction, but everything was clean and the sheets appeared to be new. If you want to experience downtown, than it'll be a few blocks walk, but otherwise the location is good. The woman at the desk was very helpful. Great place for the price.
"Indian Trail Motel - what you would expect"
My wife and I picked to stay here in order to walk to downtown Dells restaurants at night. It is a basic motel, the room was not fancy, but certainly worth the bargain price. Nice pool and hot tub inside. No complaints.

We were in the Dells for the Polish Fest at Mount Olympus. Se had stayed at Indian Trail Motel before so decided to go back. It is a very nice, clean, quiet motel, which we paid a reasonable price for. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.

Things we liked: Warm, and informative receptionist. Clean room. New, provided hair dryer. Clean shower and toilet area. Things we didn't like: Hard bed Funny smell from heating unit.

When checking out they wouldn't give me a receipt. They said they wait to see if the room was damaged and if they need to add anything to it. We had the lady walk to the room and make sure it was okay so we could get our final bill.

For the price we could get for Labor Day weekend it was nice for a motel. We rode our bikes to the downtown area. For being in the midst of the Dells area we felt like we were a little farther out due to the trees and path. Older decor, but very clean.

After booking this motel for a very low price we weren't sure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The location is great- very close to downtown yet in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to Mimi's restaurant and a local convenience station. The property is very large and spacious with a dedicated nature trail. We booked a single queen […] room. The room was very small and made of concrete. The tv, phone, bathroom, sink, and wood paneling were very outdated but functional. The bathroom also lacked a fan. The room itself was very clean and the daily maid service did a fantastic job, even folding the toilet paper. The chairs outside every room were a great place to sit outside and relax. Overall I felt this motel was a great value. If you are looking for a 5 star resort you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for a reasonably priced no-frills motel you have come to the right place! Lisez la suite
