Hotel Bergs - Riga

Really nice hotel with very friendly people at the reception. The restaurant is worth a visit. I would come back again next time I am in Riga.

First time in Riga. Great city. Amazing hotel in the right location.

I stayed at the Hotel Bergs for 3 nights in December just before Christmas. Arrival was seamless with a member of staff meeting our cab with an umbrella and offering assistance in the rain. Check-in was equally as smooth and we where shown up to our room on the 4th floor. The room itself was beautifully appointed with stunning wooden flooring, large […] windows which can be fully opened (which I appreciate) and excellent quality bedding. It was wonderful to have a small kitchen area and I appreciated the good quality Bodum tea, coffee and cocoa. Throughout the room, masses of storage are available which is somewhat of a rarity. My favourite touch had to be Pillow Menu, alongside the DVD list, superb! My only disappointments where with the bathroom; the positioning of the shower made it difficult to get under. The other issue being the seal along the bottom of the shower glass which required changing. The heated floor however is a great touch, especially in winter! The hotel has free wifi throughout although I struggled to connect using my phone; I suspect, had I had my laptop with me I would have had no problems. Other facilities include a gym with sauna which was great to relax in. The library by the lobby is very elegant along with the computer room. We did not try the dining options although they did look excellent. Our only issue during our stay was being charged for the use of the audio tours without being advised however this was removed upon check-out which was appreciated. All staff throughout where warm, genuine and helpful and made good recommendations on dining and sightseeing. I would highly recommend the Hotel Bergs as likely one of the best options in Riga, especially if your looking for a modern, elegant, boutique property with high standards. Lisez la suite

Stayed at the Berg hotel in mid Nov 2011. Great location and good looking hotel. Concierge was helpul, service to the room was mediocre. My biggest issue with the room was that the bed mattress was way too soft...so not good if you have some back discomfort. A perfectly acceptable and well priced hotel. The location is within 15 minutes walk to both the Old Town and Art Deco districts. We stayed in a loft suite. Not as good looking as the photo. The bedroom was up a very steep flight of stairs,so if you are sensitive to climbing, don't stay in this loftsyle room. We stayed at hotel "Bergs" for 5 nights & was absolutely fantastic! The hotel ticks ALL the right boxes: convenient, central location, beautiful neighborhood with nice little shops & cafes, spacious, clean & stylish rooms, polite & courteous staff that speak fluent English - I could not recommend this hotel highly enough!

Good choise there to stay in Riga during your business trip

Veldig flott hotell, lite og derfor føltes det privat. Sentral beliggenhet, elizabets gate har både SAS skybar og velkjente flotte spisesteder. Baren garage ved siden av hotellet var hyggelig for en liten kveldsrett og vin. kun 5 min gange til store sentre midt i byen og til gamlebyen. Store, lukseriøse rom, eneste minus var at jeg trodde frokost var […] inkludert, det var den ikke, med tillegg på 20 euro pr pers. Mange koselige bakerier i paralellgatene, vi spiste der. Vi bodde 3 netter på hotel Bergs i Riga og var svært fornøyd. Flott beliggenhet med gangavstand til alt. Herlig moderne, rent og stort rom hvor man følte seg hjemme fra første stund. Rommet manglet ingen ting. En av byens beste restauranter i 1.etg. Skal vi til Riga igjen, skal vi bo på hotel Bergs :)

Was wohl allgemein in noch fehlt in der Region ist ein Gefühl für Dienstleistung: Der Taxifahrer lässt einen vor dem Hotel mit dem schweren Koffer stehen, im Hotel herrscht interesseloses Wohlgefallen bei der Ankunft, wie man die Stufen zur Hotellobby erklimmt und wie man mit dem Koffer aufs Zimmer gelangt. Bei einem 5* -Hotel bin ich anderes gewohnt. […] Es fehlt da wohl einfach noch an einer Schulung. Lisez la suite

Hotellet er det flotteste jeg har sovet på noen gang, stort og fint rom, bra service og en fantastisk resturant. Kan absolutt anbefales.

Dette var et supert opphold på et supert hotell! Prisen for litt luksus var lav og vi følte vi fikk mye for pengene. Restauranten ved siden av hadde god og rimelig mat

Jag och min sambo är väldigt nöjda med hotellet, enda missen var att vi från början blev tilldelade ett rökrum trots att vi bokat icke rökrum. Men det nya rummet var finare så vi var nöjda ändå. Fick bra tips av receptionisten om restauranger att äta på. Däremot var inte lunchen på hotellets restaurang särskilt rolig, verkar ha höga ambitioner men resultatet […] är bäst beskrivet som tråkig mat. Lisez la suite

Var en weekend i Riga og bodde på hotel Bergs. Vi hadde toppsuite over to etasjer, ca 80 kvadratmeter. Helt fantastisk, mer er det egentlig ikke å si om saken. Hadde veldig store forventninger så det kunne fort blitt en nedtur, men den gang ei. Hotellet innfridde så til de grader. God service på alle vis, hjelpsomme med booking av restaurantbesøk, bestilling […] av taxi osv. Dette hotellet anbefaler jeg på det sterkeste! Lisez la suite

Fantastisk hotell!

Allt var helt kanon. Måste man säga något negativt så var det att dom inte hade koll på frukostbordet.

Fint hotell, bra service, kanonbra restaurang med väldigt god mat. Frukosten var lite dyr i förhållande till vad man fick, beror lite kanske på vad man är van vid. =) Trevlig personal.

Veldig godt hotel med store rom, stor dobbelseng og en god design. Anbefaler naborestauranten Garage for en kveldsdrink

Fantastisk hotell! Lever absolutt opp til sine 5 stjerner. Store rom, deilige senger, hyggelig personell, 5-stjerners service og deilig frokost. Ligger veldig sentralt med kort gangavstand til alt du måtte ønske

Vurderingen av punktene ovenfor sier vel alt. Et fantastik bra hotell i Riga. Store rom, gode senger/sengetøy. Hvis vi skal tilbake til Riga er Hotell Bergs et selvfølgelig valg.

Vi bodde 4 døgn på Bergs Hotell. Personalet snakker godt engelsk. God service fra første stund! Store flotte rom! 5-10 minutter å gå til Gamlebyen!Her bor vi gjerne igjen!

Bergs sijaitsee mukavan kävelymatkan päässä vanhasta kaupungista ja merkittävimmistä ravintoloista. Hotelli on upeasti sisustettu ja huoneet ovat valtavan kokoisia ja viihtyisiä. Palvelu oli ensiluokkaista ja aamiainen silkkaa luksusta. Suosittelemme ehdottomasti!

One of the most quiet hotels in the world, if you happen to have room towards the back alley. Excellent bed and nice bathroom. Optimum location just 10 minutes walk away from tourist district (old town). Outside of noise and beer bars, but still in the walking distance from everything.

Kjempefint og koselig hotell. Rommene er virkelig flotte med alt hva man kan tenke seg av komfort. Et fint treningsrom og deilig sauna med massasje etterpå.

Vi ble møtt av en vennlig stab som tok veldig vel imot oss. De visste hvem vi var da vi kom inn i resepsjonen. Dett esyntes vi var veldig imponerende:) Rommet var av det enkleste på menyen, men helt fantastisk! ca 45 km, stoor deilig seng med herlige puter, flott interiør og utsikt. Restauranten er flott ,men litt høyere i pris enn restaurantene på […] gatene. Frokost var ikke inkludert i prisen, det var ikke så lett å få med seg det da man bestilte. frokosten var også dyrere enn ute. Man kan benytte seg av hotellets spabehandling, men her var det bare mulig å behandle en om gangen, det var litt synd for oss som er et par på tur. Service: De ansatte på hotel bergs er unge, utadvente og ekstremt serviceinnstile. De gjør alt for at du skal ha det bra. Rom: VI hadde de minste suitene (Hotellet har bare suiter) Dette var på 50 kvm, med stor kjøkkenkrok, en stor balkong, fint bad, en enorm seng, en stor sittegruppe og en kontorpult. Rommet inneholder alt du trenger, og egentlig […] trenger man ikke forlate rommet hvis man ikke har lyst. Beliggenhet: Rommet ligger 5 minutters gange fra alt, i en stille og rolig bakgård. Der det ikke er støy på noen av rommene. I den ene retningen har du RIgas shoppingsentre, spesiellt Stockman var bra, litt i sten & strøm stilen, men også galerija riga var bra. I den andre retningen har du gamlebyen, kjempe fint sted. Anbefalinger: - ESPA, baltikums fineste spa. - Restaurant Bergs, blandt de beste restaurantene i Riga. - Fellini restaurant, Rigas beste italiense restaurant., ligger rett ved hotellet. - Steiku Hauso, biffrestaurant med kjempe god mat. - Skybaren på hotel reval latvija, kjempe fin skybar med gode drinker. - Olympic casino på samme hotellet som over. Being picked up by a friendly driver in a comfortable and roomy car, was a good start on our stay at Bergs. Of course we paid for it, but it was arranged in an efficient way by the hotel. Hotel Bergs is what I would call a design-hotel, elegant colours, art, furniture etc, throughout the hotel. We had a studio-suite, large, elegant and comfortable with […] details like flat-screen TV, DVD- player, kitchenette with complimentary bottle-water, tea and coffee. The air -con was quiet and efficient (the wholkw hotel is quiet) and the lighting is very good, efficient for all needs. And, very important, the bed and linen was the best we have ever tried. The breakfast is simple, but very elegant and well-tasting, with a la carte possibilities for the few who need that. We experienced a friendly, helpful and competent staff. The hotel is well located in central Riga, with good shopping possibilities and restaurants close by. To put it in a few words: we had a very pleasant stay in an excellent hotel! Lisez la suite
