Super 8 Motel - Lancaster - Lancaster

Cet hôtel ne m'a pas satisfait du tout. Les couloirs et pire la chambre empestaient l'odeur de cigarette. Des chambres sont louées sur du long terme et les locataires fument un peu partout ce qui justifie ces odeurs. Petit déjeuner normal. Accueil satisfaisant mais sans plus.

Our stay was good except when we had to come back to room, My boyfriend slept completely dressed! Shirt, jeans, Socks and shoes, Afraid to let skin touch sheets.

I enjoyed my stay everything was good thanks for everything.

We only stayed one night. The hotel was clean and so were the rooms. Only problems were dirty dresser drawers, clock radio wasn't set. Everything else was fine. I wouldn't stay more then 1 night though.

You get what you pay for

Pros included: -Clean room -Great location -Free breakfast was pretty decent (coffee, tea, juices, cereal, toast, English muffins and donuts) -Good price Cons included: -Don't bother trying to connect to the WiFi - you will get a better signal from the hotel across the road -Noisy, noisy, noisy - both fellow guests and if you are facing the Lincoln […] Hwy., the traffic. If you are in a ground floor room, you can count on hearing every footstep from the room above! -The night staff were pretty friendly, but the day staff at the front desk needed a little lesson on how to be polite to their customers! Room smelled and carpet was dirty. Dog walking area was totally filthy. No one cleaned up after their animals and management made no attempt either.

The worst hotel I have every stayed at. If you ever need to stay at this hotel DON'T. You would be better off sleeping in your car or Cardboard box.

reasonably comfortable bed room far from clean eg. dirty carpeting, hair and toilet paper in tub, towels threadbare, washclothes gray, NO coathangers overall cruddy room.

I Had two rooms and BOTH had roaches. I am not positive that it didn't have anything else, because when I got home, my legs had bug bites all over them!! Service was very nice, breakfast was o.k. price was good, but bugs were HORRIBLE! When I told the front desk about them, all i got was a I will tell my manager, that was it!

Most everything was fine but the mattress and pillows need to be better.

I ASKED FOR HANDICAP ACCESS ROOM AND DID NOT GET. I ASKED FOR TWO EXTRA PILLOWS AND SHE CAME OUT WITH DIRTY PILLOW CASES. THE BED MATTRESS IN RM 221 SUNK IN THE MIDDLE.

our stay at super 8 was just what we needed. the room was nothing fancy but the price was really nice, the people working at the desk were helpful withlittle bits of information on where to get the best meals and anything we asked them. overall it was a really nice experience.

WE STAYED HERE OCT 21ST WE HAD FIVE ROOMS EIGHT PEOPLE, WE ALL FOUND ANNA THE DESK CLERK TO BE A VERY NICE PERSON AND FULL OF HELPFULL INFORMATION. ROOM INTERNET WORKED FINE. COMP.COFFEE IN LOBBY. BEDS WERE CLEAN.BATHROOMS WERE A BIT SMALL BUT VERY CLEAN WITH NICE SHOWERS, AND HOT WATER. GREAT VALUE NO COMPLAINTS

This hotel was old and unclean. My room had a unpleasant oder, the tub had some dirt sitting in the shower floor and the sink did not have hot water! The sink was also clogged and the water drained extreamly slow. Also, the sheets and pillow cases on the bed had a fews tains on them. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed […] at Super 8 motels before but this one needs a health inspector! Oh, and the ice machine had mold growing on it YUCK! Hotel had no hot water. Dead bugs stuck to the walls and mold growing out of everything!

It was a decent place. I usually stay some where else in Lancaster but it is exspensive, so I try Hotel 8 because it was much cheaper, and I wanted to go. Most of the time you are not in your room anyway because there is so much to do in Lancaster. Was guaranteed a non-smoking room, when I arrived it was a smoking room. Making the reservation was a little cumbersome as well. Conflicting information from online information and phone information pertaining to continental breakfast and availability of smoking room.

Was told that there was hairdryer- none. Old pillows, lost firmness. Cig holes in blanket. Wash cloths were not provided. No bathmat. Dirty air handler, needs cleaned.

The rooms need to be supplied with more towels we were two people with 1 big towel, 1 wash cloth. You need to add 2 more pillows since their firm they tend to lay flat. For the ice buckets there should be liners we had a bucket in the room and it was still dirty from the last usage.

My fiance and I booked this room for our recent trip to Amish country and we were sorry we did. The outside of the hotel looked ok, but upon driving around to the rear parking we noticed that there was a lot of trash surrounding the dumpster. The woman at the front desk was nice enough, but the non-smoking room we booked was right next to the laundry […] room and directly across from the lobby door. We weren't happy with the noise quality, or how dirty the room was so we asked if there was another room available. The only one left was a smoking room on one of the upper floors. We were away from the noise, but the room was filthy and it absolutely reeked of smoke (obviously). There was hair on the bathroom floor, along with various burn holes and marks along the bathroom tub and toilet seat. I picked up some carpet freshener and air deodorizers which helped a bit, but the quality of the room was awful. Even the blankets had holes. We didn't see any bugs, but then again we spent as much time away from the room as possible. It was a place to sleep and shower and that was it. Will NEVER stay here again. Ever. Period. Hotel needs major, MAJOR overhaul. Even the fixtures and rugs were falling apart. Yuck. Lisez la suite

We decided that being on the main drag there was convenient but far too noisy...plus the pillows were hard as rocks & the hot water took forever to get hot.

We found if very dirty. When we walked down the stairs (no elevators) it was FULL of spider webs. The carpets were very dirty. Not sure if they ever get vacuumed. I have been to other Super 8 that were very clean.

The blanket on bed was very holey and was clearly worn out. It was also pilled very bad.To a weary traveler not at all inviting

We were promied 2 cribs and were given only one pack and play. We have 2 year old twins. My wife slept with one and I slept with the other. You get what you pay for!

For the price, we found our accomodations to be quite adequate as well as a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were efficient and couteous. Though before we left we read a couple of negative reviews, we were pleased to find all we were looking for in the Super 8 at Lancaster, and when we visit again we will certainly […] be staying there.... No air on in the building at all on a day when it was 103 degrees outside. Customer service person kurt and rude. Once in room: curtain broken, cover to tissues on floor and broken, cover to ac/heat fell off in my hand, trash can broken, bed was a double and not a queen as purchased, blanket old with numerous holes, sheets with burn holes in them, tv […] had only a few channels, remote back missing, shades to lamps had store wrapping still on them and it was a fir hazzard. The bathroom was a little dirty. Hair on the floor and toilet. Could have used more vacuuming throughout.

This was exactly what we needed near the airport and it was comfortable and clean.

Room was recently refirbished. Other rooms were being worked on. The floors & beds were clean. The breakfast room is small for the size of the motel. Rooms facing US30 will have road noise, but we were in the wing to the back, so we were'nt bothered. Overall it was pretty good for the price.
