Bel hotel et tres bon accueil. Petit dejeuner tres complet. Nous avons eu une chambre magnifique donnant a la fois sur la piscine et l ocean! Jolis lits a baldaquins, bonne literie, petite terrasse individuelle, chambre tres grande et bien equipee. Nous avons adore le jacuzzi et la decoration. Je recommande!

Chambres agréables. Deco sympa. Accueil un peu indifférent mais correct. Avantage : un petit déjeuner inclus. Rapport qualité prix tout à fait correct.

Grande chambre éxotiquement décorée, j'ai adoré le ciel de lit, la chambre réservée n'était pas prête à notre arrivée, avons eu une autre avec un clic clac. L'environnement de l'hôtel est un peu glauque. Hôtel vieillissant aurait besoin d'être rénové. Belle piscine, petit jaccuzzi, odeur désagréable dans la salle de muscu. Petit déj correct. Hotel "vieillot", aurait besoin d'un bon rafraichissement. Cher pour les prestations proposées, mais tout est très cher à Key West ! Piscine agréable, petit déjeuner très insuffisant, loin du centre historique de Kew West (voiture indispensable) Attention, cet hotel est nudiste "friendly" et l'on rencontre des personnes intégralement nues au bord de […] la piscine ! Peut être embarassant pour des familles voyageant avec des ados (l' hotel est d'ailleur réservé aux plus de 16 ans....ce n'est certainement pas pour rien !) Hôtel correct. Petite plage aménagée mais pas de possibilité de baignade. Au moins trois iguanes et un lapin se baladent librement, nourris par l'hôtel.

Notre soit disant chambre DELUX !!!La chambre n était pas propre , l abat jour pleins de poussière et de taches , pied cassé , coussins pleins de taches , rideaux trop petit et court laissant passer la lumière , salle de bain a refaire et attaquée par l humidité . Extérieur piscine: la douche sale et la paroie toute tordue ,la baleine du parassol manquante […] et la magnifique petite plage n a pas vu de nettoyage de feuille depuis un moment . Bon rapport qualité/prix, chambre spacieuse,hôtel un peu viellot mais bien entretenu, breakfast correct.

CHAMBRE TRES AGREABLE dommage qu il n y ait pas la wifi ds les chambres petits déjeuners passables

Grande chambre (déco style colonial), belle terrasse donnant sur des bananiers, palmiers, piscine et mer. Bien situé (5 mn de Duval St en vélo). Personnel aimable et très efficace. Difficile d'en repartir.

Agréable et bien équipé, des chambres superbes, bien placé : tout pour y etre bien. Seul le petit déjeuner n'est pas du tout à la hauteur des autres prestations.

Enjoyed the pool. Grounds were nicely kept. Signs around pool were not current. Room was clean and spacious.

Location was perfect, quiet and way from the noisy night life of downtown, with beautiful grounds. Very clean room and I loved the king size canopy bed. Free parking was a bonus since I had a rental car. Excellent free continental breakfast. We even got interenet in out room when they said you could only access it in the Gulf room. I came into my room and there was garbage all over my room. Im not sure if somebody started cleaning my room and never finished or what happened. Otherwise hotel was great. Considering the price of other places- it was not bad and it was pet friendly which I have a huge dog and it isn't very easy to find a place that does not place restrictions in place. […] Had an awesome time in the hottub and there is no beach- there's only rocks:) Lisez la suite

Check in time is 3PM; we were unable to check in @ 4pm and had a wedding to attend by 5PM on the other side of town. Checked in @ 10:30 and housekeeping wants in your room @ 8:30AM! the electrical had a short in the bathroom; the shower/bath needed to be replaced in three of the groups rooms. while it is an island, there is no excuse. My husband and I stayed at the Banana Bay for 4 days in mid April. It was planned as a romantic getaway and that is exactly what we had. The hotel what great. Our room was awesome and very clean upon arrival. The hotel staff were all very accomidating. The room could of used a few repairs here and there but nothing the would of turned us away. The walk […] to Duval street was a little longer than we had hoped for but didn't stop us from enjoying the nightlife of Key West. We definiatley would stay here again. Rooms were full of ants, in the beds, the bathroom, the coffee pot, the microwave, rugs, everywhere. Asked for another room, only 2 available. One also had ants, the other had rotting floors and mold. We opted to stay in the original room and have the room sprayed. When we returned from dinner, they spraying was done but we still had live ants we needed […] to kill. One of the rooms they showed us had a dirty ant-covered q-tip lying next to the TV. I asked for clean sheets, was told I'd have to and put them on the bed myself. We ended up cleaning ants out of our suitcases and placing our decontaminated clothing on the outside terrace. we enjoyed very much spending quiet evenings on back yard looking up to the "GOLF:" we have been lucky, the weather was beautiful! we definitely will come again! SYLVIA

The motel was a little worn out. The wallpaper was missing on one of the bathroom walls. the sink was very slow draining. the garbage truck was there at 3:30 am. On the plus side. there was a place to sit on the water. the breakfast was good and free and the price was good for key west

Not the Ritz, but for the price what do you expect? Our room was large and clean and overlooked the pool, but its possible to overlook the parking lot as well, so we were lucky. Bed could be softer no doubt. Grounds were very nice with private beach (not for swimming) overlooking the bay. Nice and quiet and relaxing after the hubbub of Duval St. As […] others note, the Tiki bar is probably never open, but just byob. Free parking, and just a short drive to the convenient inexpensive public parking in Old Town. I was pleasantly surprised given some of the negative reviews. Lisez la suite

Our room was right on the beach, we had the best view! The hotel was 5 mins from duvall street, I would stay here again.

We had booked 2 nights so we could see Key West and go to Duval street but only stayed one night .. the room was not good.. wallpaper coming off walls, stain in bathtub, partying in parking lot which balcony overlooked so i could not even sit outside. The room was an embarrassment. would not even recommend it to anyone.. mattress was so uncomfortable.. […] we had paid for 2 nights but did not even bother trying to get money back.. we just wanted out of there and went back to FT Lauderdale to the beautiful Wingate Hotel which cost much less than the Banana Bay.. totally disappointed.. This is the first time i have ever felt this way about a hotel or resort.. I travel 3 times a year and stay at Hotels and this was my worst experience..don;t stay there.. not worth it.... This hotel is getting really run down and in need of maintenance and repair. Drapes falling off rods, furniture showing signs of wear, not as clean as would like, supplies lacking. Internet only in lobby and common room.

On arrival we showed our confirmation of booking. We noticed at once that something was wrong, because we just stood there waiting to get our room and nothing happened, while many other guests were checked in. There were three different receptionists involved to get us a room and they all avoided eye contact. When I asked what was the matter the receptionist […] got irritated. I am hundred per cent sure that the young pair celebrating their honeymoon and stood by the counter complaining got our delux room with balcony, WHICH WE HAD PAID FOR, and we got a terrible room with a patio. We were just there for a quick over night stay. I wish we would have had more time at the resort as it is very nice with nice facilities and a great location on the bay. Thanks for a nice stay.

The grounds and view of the water are beautiful. Parking is free. The pool area is very clean and comfortable. There is continental breakfast and a work-out room. There is also an outdoor tiki bar area, but it was never open while we were there. The rooms are large but very tired. If you aren't concerned with top-rate appearances, you will enjoy this […] hotel. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room so weren't bothered by it. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay at Banana Bay..my room overlooked the beach and pool..it was lovely. It was nice to come back and relax after a busy day downtown. Would recommend to anyone!

I have read the previous comments when I was booking this room and was skeptical. When we arrived the staff was very pleasant and helpful which made for a good first impression. We then got into our room and found it very quant and clean. That was the most important. The grounds were very groomed and had a pleasant view. I would recommend this place […] to anyone. Though the rooms were a bit dated, and this hotel is not downtown, we loved it! It has a quiet atmosphere, great pool (clothing optional) and great beach chairs. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Staff were very nice, and it's an easy cab ride to downtown. Breakfast was provided, though not the best I've ever had. The hotel room was comfortable and clean but the location was about 2.3 miles to Mallory Square and 1.3 miles to the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum. The distance to Duval Street was also about 1.5 miles. The hotel doesn't operate any shuttles and the cost of a taxi is worse then NYC and about $13 to the Hemingway Museum which is only 1.3 miles away! […] If you drive your car there are some meters and parking lots available in the prime areas. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. I asked for a suite with a double bed and got one with one bed. The couch had a stain, that I did not want to know where it came from. I could tell at one point the hotel was very nice, but they have not maintained it. There are holes in the walls, and the fridge was rusting. The location, on N. Roosevelt Ave. is good - if you have a car and if you don't want to be in the middle of Duval Street. It was perfect for us. Great pool and nice beach.
