Très bonne accueil, chambre spacieuse bien équipée, piscine et jacuzzi sont un plus indéniable. Le petit déj est nickel (surtout son gaufrier).

"Convenient for National Parks"
We stayed here on our honeymoon for two nights as a stop over between Yosemite and Vegas whilst we spent a couple of days exploring King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park. Apart from one dirty hand towel the room was in good order, clean and comfortable. It was a pleasant 1 hour drive to National Parks (4 hours from Yosemite) and Visalia itself was […] a nice little town. The gentleman behind the desk recommended two great restaurants for dinner - Double L and The Brewmaker - we also took a lovely sandwich from The Lunchbox with us to the Park on our second day. "A great overall hotel experience."
This was the crown jewel of the area many years ago. It has aged now but the staff have done a great job of keeping the old building maintained as well as could be expected. It is not fancy but the room was very clean, smelled good, and the bed was very comfortable. We got in late but were met at the front desk with a smile and a free upgrade...that […] was very nice. The staff was wonderful and the room was great for as old as the hotel is. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is huge, we can't wait to go there in the summer and take advantage of the pool and walk the garden area. There is a Starbucks across the freeway for the early riser in need of a coffee fix. The hotel has a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had breakfast there and walked away full and happy with the food and great service. All in all...a great experience. The low price was what made us book the room (almost half price from some of the other hotels in the area) but we will now stay there every time we go. We enjoyed staying at this delightful hotel. It was easy to find and we loved having the car right outside the door. The grounds are very well kept. "holiday palce to stay"

"Never again"
We have been using this hotel during our annual business trip to the area primarily because it's convenient location. We will not use it again or recommend it. When we arrived at the Front Desk to check in the clerk was not busy, the phone rang and she answered the call without even glancing at us, I figured it wasn't. A big deal until the conversation […] on the phone went on for over five minutes a d the clerk continued to act as if were invisible. Keep in mind I am not a difficult customer I travel frequently and I avery tolerant so the only thing I expected is a simple "I'll be right with you" not here. After about the clerk finally finished her phone conversation she started checking us in (we had two separate rooms) and required a credit card and I.D. Which is normal even if it is a prepaid reservation, but in this case instead of running the credit card and request a temporary authorization for incidentals she took the credit card and the I.D. Ad went to the back to make photo copies. When we questioned her about this she indicated it was the hotel standard practice. we told her we did not feel comfortable with her keeping photo copies of ID and credit card, are you kidding me??? With so much credit card fraud and identity theft going around? We told he clerk she may run he credit card and get a an authorization but not make photo copies. To me the hotel would have been more fairly priced at $45-50 per night. The grounds are very nice and the sheets on the bad were soft. But overall the room was dissappointing. "Good for price"
The hotel is quaint. It's a bit older which for me isn't an issue. The only couple things I would mention are that the lock on the door was old so even ifw you lock the knock and shut it, the door could still be pushed open. It wasn't a huge issue you just had to shove the door with a little force. The mattresses were older and a little but sunken but […] luckily I was in a double queen room and just moved to the other bed which was a little better. I cannot stop giving rave reviews to this hotel. I stayed a week for my sister's funeral and this was by far the best hotel in the area. Check-in was super easy and all staff were professional. "This place was old and tatty in 1970"
The pics of this place on the Hotel.com website are a joke. It's really an old, worn-out mess of a place. The rooms are dark and dingy, with foul ancient carpet that you'd be crazy to walk barefoot on. The sheets are stiff and threadbare; the bathroom featured a leaky old shower, and a toilet bowl with miss-matched, too small toilet seat; the tv is […] circa 1990, and last, but not least, the early 60's fan in the room rattled so loudly I could barely sleep. "I'd stay there again"
This is a nicely maintained/remodeled older motel (from the 60's, I believe). It was a pleasant two-night stay. Noise levels were quite low (we were about halfway back from the front) and we didn't hear either road noise or other guests. AC (central type) worked fine and wasn't loud, but you could only select H/M/L and not a temperature. Negatives: The […] rooms are a little on the smaller side (our two queen room had two chairs and no sofa) and there was a shower but no tub (in case that matters to you, it didn't to us). We chose this hotel just for one night on our way from sequoia Park to lone pine and it has been a good surprise. Television didn't work in first room, so desk clerk upraded us to cottage room for two nights. Cottage was spacious, well-maintained and had updated mattresses. "Tolerable given you're in Visalia w/ little option"
My initial call to the hotel was not a friendly one. The woman I spoke to was rude and unpleasant. I was going to cancel my stay here all together because of her tone but given the cost of other hotels, I opted to continue with my stay here. The location of the inn is that it is right off the freeway, literally. It's conveniently close to downtown Visalia. […] Upon entering our room, it smelled like a bathroom. The AC was running however the controls did no work very well. In order to turn it on we had to turn in to 85 degrees. To turn it off (since there was no way to lower it) we had to turn it below 75. The carpet was not vacuumed well, AT ALL. You could see remnants of some type of carpet powder all over the floor. There was dirt in between the nightstand and bed, it was pretty disgusting. We would have switched rooms but being that we had arrived in the evening and from a long drive, we sucked it up and stayed in the room. The Lamp Liter In is an older, well maintained facility. I choose this each time I visit Visalia (my home town) because of the convenient location, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. "Flew in for a single overnight."
We arrived late and had to use the pass through window, it took a bit to rouse the employee and check-in. The daytime employees were very pleasant to deal with. The airport shuttle only runs during limited hours, so call ahead. The cab-ride from the airport is ~$15. The hotel is just off the highway, but that was no issue. The hotel grounds are some […] of the best maintained anywhere, but that means this isn't a place to sleep-in, as they are out running yard equipment by 9am. The room served us well. The hotel has room for improvement in being more environmentally conscious. We used this hotel as a single overnight, but would highly consider it for a longer stay to enjoy the area.
