la situation de l hôtel est idéale, l hôtel est calme la vue des chambres impressionnante, le seul bémol serait le restaurant sombre peu convivial et cher.

A deux pas de times square, le Westin est très bien placé. Notre chambre était au 20ème et bénéficiait d'une jolie vue assez dégagée. La chambre en angle est spacieuse et très lumineuse. La salle de bain n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 4* : toilettes dans la salle de bain, lavabo ridicule, et toute petite baignoire avec un rideau de douche. Magnifique hôtel tant extérieurement qu'intérieurement ! Nous étions dans une chambre d'angle de luxe immense, le lit king size était tellement confortable, la vue au 25e étage était grandiose ! Le personnel extra, les chambres faites très rapidement et de manière soignée ! Nous étions enchantés de notre séjour au Westin et nous le recommandons à tout […] le monde ! En plus d'être très luxueux, très confortable, d'avoir du personnel prêt à se plier en 4 pour satisfaire ses clients, le Westin jouit d'une situation idéale : à 2 pas de plusieurs bouches de métro, à quelques mètres du terminal du bus express pour rejoindre l'aéroport, en plein coeur de Times Square sans pour autant avoir trop de bruit durant la nuit, pas mal d'endroits juste en bas de l'hôtel pour prendre un petit dej pas cher, des restaurants, des théâtres, Madame Tussaud à 2 pas, etc etc... Chambre (standard) au 44 éme étage avec vue impressionnante sur l'empire state building. Taille de la chambre très correcte pour NY, service &propreté OK. Je recommande !

Hotel is clean and in an excellent location. Walking distance to the Theatre district and lots of other NYC attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately my husband had my credit cards cancelled when I arrived at NY from Philadelphia.When I checked into the hotel, a minimum cash deposit was required which I could accommodate. Later that evening I treated my friends drinks at the hotel bar which I then charged to my room.This was not accepted obviously of my cash status in the account which […] I found out later. It was embarrassing at that instance and again I paid for the bill instead. When I approached reception of this, I was told I had a 'closed account' and at a click of a button it could revert to an 'open account' but always with a minimum balance. I was disappointed this was not explained to me and executed when I checked in to avoid all this confusion. However putting all that behind me, I have enjoyed my 10 nights in the hotel. We were very satisfied with the room and service throughout. Particularly pleased with the coffee/tea making facilities available in the room. The room was a good size. All staff were very courteous, pleasant, helpful and efficient throughout our stay.

The hotel was great except the room service was lacking. We had to call the front desk to have our room recleaned three days in a row. Then they left dirty sheets on the floor. They did not even pick them up the next day when they cleaned. They also charged our debit card for the room rate each night even though we had prepaid. It took three visits […] to the front desk to straighten this out. But we did not get the money back into our account till we were back home two days. It was good I had plenty of money. We stayed at the atrium club rooms for the free breakfast and gym facilities. The size of the room was good compared to other hotels in the area. The gym was great and better than most hotels we have stayed at. The overall service was great. The atrium breakfast on the 8th floor was very basic and set in an 'office-like' environment. Food selection […] and quality was poor with stale bagels, breads and fruit. The best thing about breakfast was the San Pellegrino water. If we had known, we would have not taken the breakfast option as there are many nice cafes with freshly cooked food within walking distance of the hotel. With regard to the room, it was always cleaned on time, but details were missed...eg we had no shampoo when we first checked in and toilet paper was not replaced on a few occasions. Being avid travellers, we have stayed at many hotels in many countries and overall feel that we paid a premium price for a sub-standard hotel. Lisez la suite

It was not a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It would have been better if we got what we have reserved for, which was a 2 double bed room. I reserved the room 3 months in advance to make sure that may 2 teenagers are comfortable. But to my surprise, I was given a one bed room and a "complimentary" rollaway bed. Hotel is situated one block from Times Square & the Theatres. Our room was clean, comfortable & large (BTW - The bed was great). We had a lovely room - King corner deluxe with good views of the city. A very enjoyable 9 night stay & would definitely consider re-booking next time we visit New York.

Staff was soo helpful and made my birthday extra special. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

found this hotel a bit expensive. it says on the hotel litrature that a newspaper is delivered every morning and bath robes are supplied, neither happened. Bar prices are crazy.

Great location if your primary stay is for the theaters. The room was okay. The room service was good. We received less than satisfactory service from different bellman when attempting to get a taxi on multiple occasions.

Great spot, big room (relative to other NY hotels) great service, clean and the perfect location for exploring.

Had an amazing time at Westin. Location, Location, Location, that's all NYC is about, right? And what a perfect location. The best is the quality of bedding and the bed itself. Super comforting. It takes all your tiredness away, woke up so amazing fresh. Best bed.

Room was nice and comfortable great view of the westside of Manhattan. Expensive drinks in Bar 10 and closed too early on friday night. Went in for a drink at 1215am and was unable to be served. Overall the hotel was well kept and by fair more square footage than other hotels we visited where friends were staying. This hotel was located in a very convenient spot by Times square and a short walk to central park. Room had a great view of times square and the river. Was comfortable and very well taken care of. 10 Bar in the lobby was fun and convenient. Would stay again.

The hotel was perfect being only one block from the bus terminal and one block from the majestic theater where we seeing Phantom of the Opera. It was my wife and son's birthdays that weekend and the hotel helped to make the overnight stay an overall success. Thanks to the staff of the Westin for being very helpful to us during our stay. Second time there - really nice room and view. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Frances at the front desk was the bomb!

While the hotel itself was close to all the activities, they did not seem to care that we were there celebrating yesterday my daughter's 21st Birthday. I expected some sort of acknowledgment bu way of a card, champagne or free drink from the bar. Also we left our bags with the Bellman while siteseeing &u gave a tip, when picking up our bags to take […] them to our room a NEW Bellman expected a tip too! The title says it all. This is a great hotel in a great location. The room was very modern and very clean. The bathroom was unusually large and it seemed as though it had just been remodeled. My only complaint was check in. We got there just after 3pm and had to wait on line to check in. The line consisted of about 7-10 guests however for some reason […] it took 10+ minutes to check in a guest. It took about 40 minutes of waiting in line just to get checked in. It was spectacular! Had an amazing time!!!

Great location and price. Check-in was the only issue we encountered as there were only 2 people working at check-in on the Saturday of President's Day weekend at noon and one of those two was tied up with what appeared to be a difficult check-in.

My wife and I spent three days in New York to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. I had never been to New York, and my wife had always wanted to get back there. Staying in Times Square was great to be right in the middle of the action, and we couldn't have done better than staying at The Westin. The hotel was beautiful--lobby, hallways, etc. The elevator […] was fast and always readily available. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. First, this hotel is adjacent to, but not in Times Square. The room was great, and view terrific; rooms were very modern and clean. Two complaints: (1) the line for check-in was long, and slow; took almost 30 minutes, and then had to stand in line again for the keys 2 hours later (room wasn't ready). Concierge had a real attitude, like "standing […] in line twice for that long is just how we do things." (I'd fire her. (2) there was little in the way of in-hotel services; we were asked to visit Shula's (in-hotel restaurant), and when getting there found it was closed. No food service available on premises. Registration took one hour. More tellers are definitely needed especially on long weekends. Bed was super comfortable and view from 32nd floor exceptional. Right in the heart of everything.

The hotel was first rate -- I expected a lesser room since I hadn't gone through the hotel and had received a lower rate through hotels.com. Was I surprised when I entered my gorgeous, corner room!
