"Very nice hotel, but watch out for extra costs"
Overall, this was a very clean, comfortable hotel, right by an L station. However, was very disappointed that there was an extra parking cost and that there was only an ethernet connection to get on the Internet in our room, which you had to pay for. There was free Wi-Fi, but you had to go down to the hotel lobby to use it.
"Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel"
Spent the weekend with my husband, I slept well, my husband woke up with a sore neck. Hotel was clean, room was clean, womans locker room clean, Sauna clean, Lots of towels, couple were dingy but mostly white & clean, Pool & sauna appeared clean but could use more maintenance around parameter of the pool I noticed a dark ring clorine smell a bit strongand […] it stung my skin. Parking was $24 a night . Pleasant stay. Lisez la suite

"Renaissance Hotel near O'Hare"
This hotel really was excellent. There were three of us and we each had our own bed. The sofa pullout was just fine. We bought the breakfast bar. I did not think that it was so great. It was fresh, clean, ordinary. I love coffee but theirs is not nearly as good as the Starbucks down the hall. I thought that $16 was too high for the breakfast. Other […] than that, I loved the place. Lisez la suite
"Staffs were so kind!"
Bed sheets, pillow cases were all clean and nice. Also staffs in the front were very kind. When we asked them how to get to the Chicago city, they printed a map with the direction. But the atmosphere of the room stayed in was not that pretty- just a dull office & parking lot view. Considering that it's a hotel near the airport, I shouldn't expect the […] view. right? Overall it was comfy stay for a night :) Lisez la suite

"Convenient but needs better service"
We booked this hotel for a night before we flew out of O'Hare. Location is close to O'Hare and nice hotel--big lobby, nicely done. Our biggest complaint is the service--we were put on hold for 15 minutes trying to order room service. Also used the hotel airport shuttle after returning a rental car. Took them a half hour to pick us up, and hotel is only […] 1.9 miles away. The room was nice and comfortable--great suite layout. They just need to improve the speed and efficiency of the services they offer. Lisez la suite
"Renaissance Hotel O'Hare"
Clean, nice staff, noiseless, Starbucks near the reception desk. Only 5 minutes walking from Cumberland Blue line L-station.
"Everything you need in a fine hotel"
Everything was great; service, rooms, food. I'll stay here again. Good price for what you get.
"Renaissance Hotel Chicago (O'Hare)"
A very pleasant experience over the Thanksgiving holiday. My room was clean and the staff was very attentive when needed. I thought the parking was a little steep but overall a grade B+ (could have been an A with internet service without cost).

"Business meeting near O'Hare"
The Renaissance is quite comfortable, but the location, while convenient, is not inspiring. Staff was great in my limited dealings with them. I was very frustrated with the blocking of any but their own WiFi access, which made it hard to load my boarding pass to smart phone. Decor of the hotel is full of tans and blues - felt very corporate hotel-like […] rather than unique or stylish. Furniture in the living room of the suite was borderline shabby. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was huge. For our purposes - business meeting - it served us well. Lisez la suite

"Nice Stay"
The only complaint is the construction in the main parking lot which makes it inconvenient for people when they have to enter in rear. Room was great! The bar was very nice and cozy! Overall - great hotel.

Very clean rooms, right by the l train to be able to go any where we wanted and park are car at the hotel. Comfortable, and nice helpful people that work there. We will be staying there again soon.
"Renaissance Suites O'Hare"
First of all, there was NO way to drive to the front door of the hotel. The entrance appeared to be under construction and you were forced into their parking lot where you have the pleasure of paying $20/day to park your car and then drag your luggage to an elevator that goes down to the lobby eventually. If you get a suite, do NOT plan on sleeping […] on the pullout sofa in the room. The springs were coming through the mattress. I had the misfortune of discovering this fact at 11:30 at night when I was exhausted from traveling and in need of a good night's sleep. Management offered me little help in resolving the problem other than to throw the mattress on the dirty carpeted floor with two extra mattress pads to cushion me from the springs. There are better hotels in the area. Don't bother with this one. Lisez la suite
"Renaissance experience"
We were there for 4 days and had a very good time with very friendly hotel staff.
"Not what I expected"
The hotel was nice when you went into the lobby. We went into our room and it was very small. The hotel explained to me when you book through a third party you are not guaranteed to get what you want. Also I asked for towels and sheets on Saturday night. I got sheets no towels. On Sunday morning I asked for towels and a iron cause the one in room was […] broke. No towels no iron. I had to go to the housekeeper and asked for towels. I didn't ask for the iron again I just checked out wrinkled. Lisez la suite
"Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites"
Cleanliness was questionable at best. Charges for Internet access and simple use of fridge were outlandish. Access by auto was confusing and difficult due to construction. Parking for a non-downtown hotel was also excessive. Staff were quite nice and helpful, however.
"A very good hotel with a bad location"
In general the hotel rooms and their quality were excellent. A special praise should be given for the choice of bedding an of and linen. The blankets are not of the standard unpleasant synthetic type, which sparkles each time you touch them but of a quality variety and the blanket covers, sheets and pillows are the ones you would not mind having at […] home. The room, which is actually a suite is very comfortable and the furniture is of a high quality and is arranged in a convenient manner (just be aware of the coffee table which has a rectangular wooden foundation and sharp corners, which makes it easy to bump you foot into--a rather unpleasant experience). The staff is courteous and very helpful, you can ask them for any assistance and they will gladly provide it. On the negative side is the food. While it is passable-- not much to complaint about -- but ti is not on par with the quality of the accommodation, definitely not 4*, although it is priced at the level of a 4* hotel. Strangely, the breakfast buffet is about 33% more expensive than the lunch one. The overall impression of the hotel would be much better if the quality of the restaurant had been at least the same as all the rest. By far the worst is the location. There is absolutely nothing within a walking distance there, and if you come on a plane and do not have a car, then you are practically stuck in the hotel. That makes the quality of the dining facility there even more important. (Beware that the water is a very expensive commodity at this hotel. A small 16 oz bottle of drinking water costs $4 there). Another rather strange and unpleasantly unique thing is that the shuttle bus does not come to the entrance, rather it stops across the road inside the courtyard about 100 feet from the entrance. There is no ramp and one has to carry the suitcase up (or down if you go back to the airport) a short staircase before it can be rolled it into the hotel. Lisez la suite
"Mariott Renaissance O'Hare - train accessible"
Good service, train to downtown Chicago is a 2 minute walk, very clean, staff is very courteous, would stay again.
"Renaissance O'Hare"
Really nice hotel! A 2 minute walk to the L station. The only drawback for this hotel is the location. It is at least a 30 to 40 minute train ride to be downtown Chicago. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious, the shower was amazing! The hotel bar is nice, the staff was very helpful. I would stay there again!
"Renaissance Review"
I really liked my hotel stay at the Renaissance. The only real complaint that I have is that there wasn't a microwave in the room. Other than that I can't really complain about my stay. The room was very clean, it wasn't really large nor was it too small. I'd stay there again (though I may have to bring my own microwave).

First rate staff an services, Bill at front desk was very helpful. Disliked the fact of paying 20 dollars extra to park in hotel parking deck while front entrance was under repairs.
"Renni in Chicago"
My 2 day stay in the hotel was fine. The room was clean if not a little bit musty. But that was due to the AC noit being ran for awhile. A little surprise was the $10 extra fee for internet access. Plus due to recent flooding the week before both the weight room and the pool were closed. Other than that the hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. Pretty […] close to the blue line as well. Not a bad stay except for the added fees for stuff. Lisez la suite
"Excellent location to avoid traffic congestion."
The service at the front desk is cold and rude, the pool and fitness center was out of service due a flood. It's location is excellent because is very close to Cumberland station (Blue Line) and that connects you to the city. A backdrop, they charge you for the parking.
"Great Place To stay"
Good vaule for the money. The train ride into Chicago was great. We brought a 1 day pass for $5.00 and was able to ride the train and bus all day. It took about 25 min to get into town from the hotel. The parking fee at the hotel was $20.00 but I believe some of the hotels that I have stayed at in Chicago charge about $50.00 The rooms are good, but […] eating at the hotel is very high. I would stay here again Lisez la suite

"The Renaissance Chicago O'Hare"
Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located and accessible to I-90. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone. Great value for an upscale hotel.
"Not Four Star"
An OK hotel. Four Star??? Not really. Single counter person on duty. Plain room interior. Parking garage with NO directions to the hotel. Playing guess which door leads to the hotel is not a good thing at a "Four Star" Hotel.
"Rennisance Hotel in Chicago"
Our stay was exceptional. My only concern was that when we reserved the room through hotels.com we were told we would have a room with two full beds and a pull out sofa bed, but we actually got 1 king suite, which would have been fine, but with the number of guests we had, 1 king suite wasn't the best choice, and we had to rearrange the sleeping arrangements […] and one member of our party had to sleep in a room with our friends. Situations such as this should be avoided. My reservation was for two full beds and a sofa bed, and that's exactly what we should have received. Lisez la suite

"Messed up reservation"
My reservation was made for a double suite with queen sofa bed for 2 nights to accommodate 5 adults. I called the hotel the night before to confirm the reservation. They told me only the King suite with sofa bed was available. How are 5 adults supposed to sleep in a King & Queen sofa bed? Very dissatisfied. I called Hotels.com customer support and they […] were able to find a double suite with sofa bed in a different hotel nearby with early check in and I wasn't charged the difference. Lisez la suite

"Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel"
The hotel was very nice, however, we had to pay $20 per day for parking. We had no other choice for parking and if we wanted to have our car near by, we had to park in the hotel lot. The location was good for being able to get on the metro, but at night it was just too loud due to traffice on 90 and the metro. I did not think the mattresses were comfortable. […] I don't like stiff mattresses. The one bright exception, was one of the front desk staff who helped us with directions Friday night. She took time with us so that we could directions to Loyola University the next morning. She was amazing!!! Lisez la suite
