Hotel Rezydent - Cracovie

Excellent petit dej buffet dans un restaurant juste à côté. Pas de chance car au 4 e étage sans ascenceur! mais l'hôtel est très calme et bien entretenu, un peu moins moderne que ce que l'on aperçoit sur les photos il me semble.

hôtel très pratique , car proche du centre ville. Cloisons peu épaisses. Petit déjeuner consistant et délicieux , a volonté. Personnel agréable .

WiFi was not working in the room. Had to go down to the reception area to get service.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room had complimentary wi-fi. The hotel was ideally located to the Market square where a lot of activities took place. Breakfast was included in our rates , we had a short walk outside to the restaurant in the morning. Breakfast was sustantial.

Ideally situated and good value. Only real drawback was some noisy building work nearby.

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. It is placed right in the heart of the Old town of Krakow, convenient to shops, restaurants, and transport. The room was very big(biggest room i have ever stayed in), clean and well furnished. We had both a couch, desk and additional chairs. The bathroom was nice and big, only downside was that the water pressure […] could be a little low when EVERYONE was taking a shower, but this is not a problem, just goes to show that there was nothing to complain about. Breakfast was served in a restaurant nearby, and it was good, plenty of different things to choose from, no matter if you like eggs and sausage or yogurt and fruit. Great location in the heart of the old town. Newly renovated rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable.

If you don't want to stay in one of the many apartments that line the main market square, Hotel Rezydent is a good choice. Affordable, well kept - if just a bit dated. Google maps does not do the location justice. You can see Market Square and it is literally a 1-2 min walk. to it. The castle is maybe 5-7 min walk away and Kazmierz is about 15-20 […] mins away. Its quiet and if you get a room away from the street - you will never hear another person. Bathrooms are brilliantly updated and I had no [problems with service or billing. There is no elevator, but I'm not handicapped or lazy... so it was just fine. I do hate that you have to leave your key with the front desk every time you leave. Its just a hassle - especially if you are getting in late. I realize the security of it, but I still don't care for it. Lisez la suite

I visited this hotel with 2 of my friends and had a fabulous short break. It is often difficult to get a good 3 bed room but we had 2 wonderfully comfortable beds and an equally comfortably sofabed. The room was very spacious and recently re-furbished with a lovely modern bathroom including toiletries and fresh towels each day. The location could not […] have been better just few metres from the main square with lots of good restaurants, coffee shops, the famous Cloth Hall market and much more. Straight down Grodska St is a short 10min walk to the Wawel Castle which must not be missed and the surrounding area. With the zloty currency making our purchases much more affordable than euros we could enjoy shopping and dining out etc without breaking the bank. There is a beautiful ambience about the place and it felt very safe walking around. I would return to Krakow and definitely stay at the Hotel Rezydent as it is excellent value for a 3* hotel in an ideal location. Lisez la suite

The walk from the train station to this hotel wasn't so bad and pretty simple. Encountering the main square on our way to it was phenomenal, though. Definitely, they were close to each other. We were on the 3rd floor, there was no elevator and the hallway lights to our hotel were out during our three night stay. But that's pretty much the negative. […] On the positive side, the front desk were really nice folks. Our room was really nice, although a bit small... but whatever... it's Europe! Great value for a hotel so close to the main square. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. Spa in hotel was very good also.

We stayed at this hotel with friends for a city break. The hotel is in a great location just off the main square. The rooms were recently renovated and were good although the walls seemed a bit thin as we could hear people talking next door. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location just 1/2 block off historic main square. Room better than many 3 star options. Note: you have go outside and a couple doors down for breakfast but the restaurant is charming.

I was very happy of my stay in this hotel. Good localization in the city center of Krakow, and very very silencious room. I already know where I will stay during my next trip in Krakow!

This hotel was within walking distance to the main square with Cloth Hall and lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Also, you could walk to Wawel Castle and Kasmierz. The staff was not very pleasant but the room was clean and warm (it was very chilly while we were there). The breakfast at Marmolada's was delicious, but they ran out of some cereals and […] juices. All in all, I would stay here again if visiting Krakow and will recommend to friends. Lisez la suite

In an excellent location to market square, clothhall, restruants and all aminities.All Staff polite, very helpful and friendly and made stay most enjoyable. Room was great and spotlessly clean. Would stay here again.

The internet was barely usable. Also, wake-up calls were not delivered. Location is excellent.

Good hotel, with great location...

This hotel is located pretty much at the main square in the Old Town. Couldn't ask for a better location for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Rooms are fitted out with modern fixtures and are quite comfortable. We were at the back of the building which meant no view but it was nice and quiet at night. We stayed here for 2 nights and could not have been happier. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station. The staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. There is a little convenience store for groceries and other supplies just around the corner along with a Post Office and plenty of interesting shops. Once we checked in, […] we headed back out, turned left and were smack in the middle of the Main Square. Breakfast was included and was a very nice spread at the hotel's restaurant, 2 doors down. It was also a very quick walk to Wawel Castle. Make sure you check out Pod Wawelen near the castle. We stumbled on the great pub that was very inexpensive but fantastic! The staff also arranged for the Salt Mine Tour. The company they work with charges a little more than some you can find on the street, but the transportation was first class and picked us up very near the hotel (it is in a pedestrian area). All-in-all we had a great time in Krakow and having Hotel Rezydent as a base worked out great. Lisez la suite

Up a few flights of stairs, though a newly renovated room, clean, good bathroom. Location - about 20 second walk and you are at the old market square... awesome.

location of Hotel was fabulious, right next to the main square. Breakfast was also exellent plenty to choose from hot and cold buffet. Stayed in old part of hotel found it very dark and dirty on stairs. Room wasnt much better walls in bad bad need of redecorating all covered in dirty marks, Floor must have looked lovely originally but dust all around […] the edges did not look good especially under fridge door where it was White from lack of cleaning. Bathroom was modern and clean but the shower was at least on foot off the floor which made it very dangerous when getting out as there was nothing to hold on to, must surely be against all health and safety regulations. Great hotel right in the heart of Rynek. Not recommended for travellers with small kids as the large rooms did not have elevator access and were on the 4th floor. Otherwise everything else was excellent with best breakfast selection.

Missing fridge and AC

We had an excellent experience in this hotel during our recent stay. The room was airy with high ceiling we also used the fan supplied ,being on the 1st floor (albeit overlooking a quiet courtyard) I wasn't happy to leave the window open !Corridors were very quiet & windows kept out any noise.Bathroom was modern & spotless. Soap, gel & shampoo supplied […] in wall dispensers.No showerhat or other trinkets -though we were in a superior room. Sewing kit, shoe cleaner etc in wardrobe.No mini bar. Location was superb- It is just 5 or 6 houses away from the main square of Kracow-we arrived at night & the square was like fairyland with restaurants, horse drawn carriges & excellent atmosphere.It was also the perfect location to visit many of the big attractions. We took the tour of the city reccomended by the friendly receptionist(who also supplied an electrical adaptor).IT was circle tours(I think) & led by Martha a small group of 8 people experienced an excellent trip to the castle, the old Jewish quarter & ST Marys. WE also travelled with her to Ascwich the following day where we were expertly guided by a local guide Michael.We joined this tour @ the Raddison Blu hotel just a short walk away. Breakfast was in a restaurant 2 doors down the street which was alittle strange but was good- no great variety of fruit or cereals but breads, cooked fare, eggs etc-scrambled in particular were excellent. I believe some of the rooms are not up to standard & are being renovated but for us everything was perfect except the weather! Lisez la suite

Overall the hotel was excellent. The only downside was no air conditioning. Would definitely reccomend.

Going up the five long flights of stairs was a pain even without luggage (no elevator available). Once you make it up, you are greeted by a very hot room. You can leave the window open but that means you have the loud street life filling your room all night. STAYED HERE LAST YEAR AND FOUND IT VERY GOOD VALUE AND VERY CLOSE TO ALL MAIN SITES.THIS YEAR IT WAS EVEN BETTER AS HOTEL HAD UNEXPECTANTLY BEEN REFURBISHEWHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE.AM IN THE PROCESS OF REBOOKING HOTEL FOR CHRISTMAS PERIOD WITH MY BROTHER.

hi its not a nice hotel not a 3 star would not recommed it to my friends.

Excellent location in old town Krakow and clean room with a good breakfast. The rooms are up quite a few stairs and the king sized bed is actually two beds shoved together. But overall good!

This was an excellent hotel at a great price. Great value, very clean, new accommodations, very helpful staff, comfortable bed. The internet was not very good, but if this isn't a priority for you, I highly recommend this location. The continental breakfast was pretty good, the egg and hot dogs (pretty traditional breakfast) left something to be desired, […] but all in all the other items gave me a nice selection to choose from. I had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Rezydent. The room was a good size and immaculate. The bed was comfortable. My room faced the rear courtyard and was very quiet. The wireless internet connection worked well. Complementary breakfast (in the adjacent restaurant) was good and plentiful, including scrambled eggs and bacon as well as cold meats, cheeses, […] yogurt, breads, rolls, etc. This hotel is on the most popular street in Krakow and only a half a block from the main square with its Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Church. Right now, the hotel is a wonderful deal, priced very low, because the only thing open is some of the rooms. A major renovation is underway in the lobby and to get to Reception, you walk through the construction out into a rear courtyard and then into a tiny room where the "front desk" staff sits. There is no elevator and there are five floors of rooms, so if stairs are a problem you will want to be sure you are on the first floor (which is one flight up). Once the renovation is complete, I am certain this will be one of the higher-priced hotels in central Krakow. So if you are going to Krakow now and don't mind stairs, definitely take advantage of this opportunity. You won't be sorry. Lisez la suite

The hotel is in a great position, right next to the main square in the old town and close to the market, galleries, churches, shops, etc., The hotel is undergoing refurbishment so our party of seven were placed in the annexe just a little down the street. The annexe had no lift and all of our rooms we near the top of the building so we had to climb […] up and down 70 steps at least a couple of times a day. The rooms were clean but pretty basic with very low beds which were difficult to get in and out of. Only one of our four rooms had a walk in shower the others a very high bath with shower head, again very difficult to get in and out of. The hotel was good value for money considering it's position but does need some improvement on the basics e.g. a tea/coffee making facility. A lift in the annexe would certainly be an asset. Our stay was to say the least, challenging. Breakfast was served in the Marmolada restaurant at the foot of the hotel and this was excellent, a good choice every day. We also had an evening meal there on New Year's Eve and this was also very good. The staff in the restaurant were all very pleasant and the decor is lovely. On the whole we enjoyed our stay at the Rezydent but would not recommend the annexe. I think the rooms in the main hotel are possibly of a higher standard. Lisez la suite

The location is perfect but the beds leave a lot to be desired.

Great location and quite good restaurant but rest really disappointed. Room: clean but the furniture slightly worn out + without an air condition/temperature controller TV: old, only 4 channels with terrible quality Internet: not available Bathroom: smelly, without hot water!!! I called reception twice (two evenings), but only explanation which […] I got was that they share boiler with the restaurant. Receptionist promised call be back when water will be hot - never did. Good central location although downside is loud noise late at night. We were located in the annexe which were really apartments located two doors up from the main hotel above a restaurant. Myself and 5 friends checked in to two triple rooms for the weekend. We all thought the hotel was very good value. We were very pleased with our rooms and the hotel is right off the main square with restaurants/bars all around. Breakfast was more than satisfactory and was worth going 3 doors up the street for. Our rooms were not in the main hotel - […] and there was a problem with a 'drunk' wandering around our balcony in the middle of the night but the staff were happy to sort this out. We would go back! Fantastic location right in the heart of Krakow old town. Hotel in fabulous old building but a bit rundown. Our room was on the fourth (top) floor with no lift so if stairs are a problem wouldn't be good. Room and ensuite were clean but smelt of smoke and our room was small, although children had a big room at the back which was better.
