Hôtel très confortable. Petit déjeuner correct. Piscine égare able bien chauffée et ouverte jusqu à minuit. Tout près de southerstpoint mais à 30 minutes à pied du centre et des animations. Personnel très serviable. Service efficace en cas de besoin.

Nous avions une suite, elle était très spacieuse, très propre, très bien aménagé. Juste la salle de petit déjeuner qui est un peu étroite

Séjour de 2 nuits avec mon amie. Très joli petit hotel, très bien situé au calme mais proche de "duval street", juste en face de la maison d'hemingway", pdj correct mais sans plus, lit confortable, chambre propre et reposante, j'en garderai un joli souvenir. Un parking limité à 2 ou 3 voitures seulement mais le stationnement dans les rues est gratuit […] et en général une fois la voiture garée on ne la reprend que le jour du départ car tout peut se faire à pied. "Hotel super mais déçue du service"
- Hôtels très bien situé en face de la maison d'Hemingway, à côté du phare, juste à côté de Duval Street - La cadre de l'hotel est très joli, beaucoup de végétation, petits bungalows chaleureux, piscine chauffée en novembre - ATTENTION: Parking, mais limité aux 1ers arrivants, autant dire que si vous avez prévu d'arriver en fin de journée c'est mort. […] Nous sommes arrivés vers 19h, le monsieur de la réception nous a gentiment expliqué que le parking de l'hôtel était plein et qu'il nous suffisait de nous garer dans la rue sur n'importe quelle place tant qu'il n 'y a pas écrit "Resident only" dessus. Autant vous dire qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de places qui répondent à ce critère. Du coup 40min à tourner pour trouver une place puis 15 min de marche avec toutes la valises. ATTENTION: accueil et bonne volonté limité. Nous avions appelé depuis la France pour demander 2 chambres côté à côte pour ne pas laisser ma maman âgée qui voyageait seule avec nous à l'autre bout de la résidence. En arrivant pour le check-in (oui vous savez après les 15min de marche et toutes les valises), et le monsieur nous a dit qu'en fait les chambres étant complètement à l'opposée l'une de l'autre et qu'il ne pouvait rien faire. Après avoir beaucoup insisté il nous a proposé à mon ami et moi une chambre luxe pour compenser, sauf qu'on s'en fichait un peu, car ça ne rapprochait pas ma maman de nous. - Chambre : bien équipé mais des fenêtres sur 2 à 3 murs avec des stores pas très efficaces donc ne cherchez pas l'intimité hors de la salle de bains. Vos galipettes nocturnes seront visibles de l'extérieur malgré vos plus intenses efforts. - Ptit déj : complet mais seulement à partir de 10h, donc si vous comptez vous lever tôt pas la peine Dommage, c'était l'hôtel le plus cher de notre séjour, on en attendait beaucoup plus que les autres et c'est là qu'on a été le plus mal accueilli et du coup le plus déçu. "Paradis.."
Cet hôtel, nous vous le recommandons vivement ! Même si l'accueil est "ordinaire", l'hôtel en lui-même est juste paradisiaque. Petites maisons coloniales typiques de l'île, coin bar et piscine (où l'on prend le pdj) très agréable, chambres propres spacieuses et confortables, juste en face de la maison d'Hemingway (visite recommandée !) et à 50 mètres […] de Duval Street, LA rue de KW. "Cozy in Key West"
The Lighthouse Inn is in a nice, fairly convenient location because it's only a block from Duval Street. It's positioning on Whitehead Street is also good because it's not too far from the Truman White House, Mel Fisher Maritime Museum and Mallory Square. The lack of parking was a drawback, but we were lucky enough to find parking right on the corner […] next to the property. The room was nicely appointed but at times the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Also, the bahamian doors on the bathroom made for a lack of privacy -- but it would be fine for a husband and wife or a couple. The shower head was way too high for anyone under 5'4". The property is also limited in the number of rooms that have double beds. But the staff was very pleasant and I loved the lush landscaping and overall setting. "Very disappointed, poor value..."
The room was quite small and sparsely finished. Cleanliness/upkeep left much to be desired. The double bed had a mattress/pillows that had seen better days and the bed skirt had questionable stains on it. The bedside table and lamp wore a film of dust/dirt, there were holes in the drywall where TV was mounted. 2 lighting sconces were there but only […] one worked. The room door was made of glass and a curtain was hung inside for privacy -- it was also dirty. The staff wasn’t particularly helpful. Parking is inadequate (20 rooms, 9 spots) When we asked if a spot on the street in front of the hotel was "legal" the staff didn’t know and declined to answer. Sorry, but you work there and should know the answer to that question. We were told at check in that complimentary continental breakfast would be available at a certain time -- the next day when we showed up to get a cup of coffee (no coffee pot in the room) and we were told it would be at a different (very limited) time. We asked for an ice bucket to chill a bottle of wine -- the staff didn't know if one could be found so we were left to improvise on our own. While the location was convenient to local attractions, the price paid -and the value received- were vastly different. We expected a clean, comfortable room that would be conducive to a relaxing weekend. What we got instead was cramped, dirty accommodations and staff that seemed not to care. "Great location, needs some renovation"
We stayed at the Lighthouse Court for 4 days. The location couldn't be better, easy walking distance to everything. Our room was a King, good sized and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, cereal, toast, pastries, juice and coffee. I thought the coffee was very good, better than most "hotel coffee". We had two minuses, the windows […] in the rooms didn't open at all. We left the heat/ac on all the time which was OK for white noise so we weren't wakened by the roosters, but it would have been nice to get some fresh air without leaving the door open. We were on the upper level with a big shared deck outside our room. The deck is is serious need of renovation, it's cracked and splintered. The service at the front desk was great, Jeremiah was sweet and very helpful. The room was clean, but a bit tight and very dark in room 2B. The bathroom is extremely small and we had no hot water in the shower. The second floor deck has a nice view of the lighthouse and the pool below, but the deck is badly in need of repair as there were nails popped […] up all over the deck and people could seriously hurt themselves. Very few places offer free parking, so that was a plus but it is very limited and you have to leave the key at the front desk in order for them to move the cars if needed. We had a large private deck off our room that was very nice. We shared it w/another room but only saw them once. The building definitely needed painting but was clean and comfortable. "Best Vacation Ever"
This hotel had that lazy decadent feel that really helps my husband and I relax. I came back looking and feeling 10 years younger. My husband mostly lounged by the pool. I was a little more active. We really enjoyed the Hemingway House across the street. The only warning I'll give people is that there are a lot of roosters wandering around and crowing […] at all hours of the day and night. We also were not able to access the internet on Thursday, but had no problem on any other day. We called and were told there was no problem. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is good, only a few blocks away from the main shopping/restaurant/bar area of Duval Street. The best part of this hotel, however, was by far the staff. From the front desk staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the bartender in the poolside cafe, we received warm, friendly service. "Overpriced small rooms"
Great location right across from Hemmingway house and 1 block from Duvall St but in turn there are tons of people right in front of hotel every day to see hemmingway house. Staff very nice. Rooms clean but just about the smallest room I have ever stayed in in my life. The room is about 10x10 with a tiny bathroom. Shower is tiny with two little triangle […] shelves to fit all your stuff. No place in room for luggage, etc. No closet......it had a rack with a few hangers right next to TV. . And the bed....OMG...the hardest bed I have ever layed on. Extreme back pain the first 3 days. I looked at other rooms and they were the same. There is not much modern about this place whatsoever. It can look old on outside to fit with Key West but I darn sure expected some modren amenities and furnishings inside.......especially for the price. I knew the hotel was close to tourist areas such as Duval street. But I didn't realize HOW close it was! We left it a little late to get to the perfect sunset view however we walked as fast as possible and managed to make our way to a nice little spot just in time away from all of the crowds too! As we drove through Key West to the hotel we noticed […] a restaurant named Duffys which was a surf and turf restaurant one block away from Duval St which was pleasant and a nice price at 36 for filet and lobster tail!
