The hotel was perfect. The staff was very pleasant and even called me 5 minutes after checking in to make sure my room was okay and up to my standards. The room was huge, almost the size of a 2 room suite and had 2 very comfortable queens beds and a balcony that over looked the pool. There was a new 37 inch flat screen tv in my room. The breakfast in […] the morning was ample and had some good selections. It was more than just a continental breakfast with a few items. The room was extra clean and had a fresh smell to it. It is all the way down at the far end of Maddox Blvd. heading to Assateague, which is great of you are planning on spending most of your time at the beach. However I was attending an event on the other side of the Island and would have liked to been closer to that. Second, the walls and floors are somewhat thin. I could hear people in the room above me walking around and I could hear the doors adjacent to me opening and closing. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. I would definitely stay there again. I just wish the hotel offered a shuttle service as the island does not have a taxi service. All in all a very good experience and a great value for the money. In fact my room was so nice, I found myself spending much more time there than I had originally planned on doing. The staff at the Best Western Chincoteague was so friendly, our stay couldn't have been more pleasant. Everyone greeted us with a big smile and they were very accommodating. It was very convenient that there were bikes that could be rented right at the hotel, which is just across a bridge from the National Preserve. It's hard to find much to complain about with this hotel. It's exterior is dated, but the interior has been fully renovated. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet. It is also mere steps from the entry to the Assateague Island refuge, which is very convenient and gives a nice view from the balcony. We found it an excellent value.Avis véridique Hotels.com

We could only stay one night because of Hurricane Irene but they had rooms ready early so we could get to the beach two days. The room was great- all I missed was a "sleep" button on the remote. The breakfast was better than a lot of motels. It was a family reunion and they arranged the rooms together pretty much. Really enjoyed being there.Avis véridique Hotels.com

This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in in Chinocteague. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the BW Plus in Chincoteague, VA. It was much better than we expected. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the room was up-to-date, very clean, nicely furnished, and the breakfast was substantial and good. We could not have been happier with our August stay. My husband didn't sleep much due to the air conditioner rattling all night. I wear ear plugs so didn't have an issue. The shower head didn't work too well so it took forever to take a shower. Everything else was wonderful.Avis véridique Hotels.com
