On nous a proposé de revenir prendre une douche le soir car notre train ne partait que vers 22h alors qu'on demandait de pouvoir laisser les bagages jusqu'au soir; le patron a appelé lui meme un taxi et lui a expliqué ou nous emmener ( heureusement car ce n'était pas la gare habituelle )

Un hôtel à recommander uniquement à ceux qui ont le sommeil profond car environnement trop bruyant. Dommage car l'hôtel est bien tenu et le personnel est à la fois agréable et très serviable. Personnel très gentil. Beau buffet au petit-déjeuner. Cependant les prix sont beaucoup trop élevés pour un pays aussi pauvre que l'Inde. A Porbandar j'ai eu une suite beaucoup plus spacieuse à l'hotel HARMONY pour la moitié du prix de celui-ci.

Bel hotel, bien entretenu, calme (j'étais au 8 ième étage) entouré de bidonvilles à deux pas de l'IIT de bombay et à 2heures de la porte d'Inde en période de fort traffic.
Situation
Hotel Residency Andheri se trouve à Mumbai (Andheri East), près de l'aéroport et non loin des sites suivants : Shoppers Stop, MIDC et Santacruz Electronic Export Processing Zone. Les sites Plage de Juhu et Infinity Mall se trouvent également à proximité.

L'aéroport Chhatrapati Shivaji, situé à l'est d'Andheri, est l'un des plus chargés du pays. Cet aéroport international doit son nom à Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhonsle, un empereur marathe du XVIIe siècle. Il est entouré de magasins, de marchés d'artisanat authentique et de restaurants. Vous trouverez dans un rayon de 10 kilomètres d'importants quartiers d'affaires, comme le complexe Bandra-Kurla et la Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ). Les autres sites d'intérêt locaux comprennent le centre d'expositions NSE, le parc national Borovilli, Film City et le musée de Bombay. Les taxis payés à l'avance constituent un moyen bon marché de se rendre au centre-ville, et vous pourrez aussi prendre le bus, moins cher mais moins rapide.
Tous les hôtels à MumbaiTres accueillant, bon service pour nous aider a trouver un taxi chauffeur 4 jours, quoique un peu cher et sans chauffeur anglophone, donc avons du insister pour changer, mais toute la reception a beaucoup aide d'autant plus que je voyageais avec ma fille de 8 ans. Une heure 30 du centre ville.... par contre.

"Customer service was non existent"
My flight was delayed. I called them to let them know n will need to extend my stay from a day to two. They just told me to call from the airport. Firstly, they stranded me for an hour. Almost ejected me because my stay was up but the weird thing was, it was 5 am in the morning and they wanted me to leave. "Excellent Hotel"
we loved staying here. The room was clean and lots of light. The food at the restaurant was very good and the reception staff very helpful. Highly recommended. Only drawback is that it's 26kms from centre of town but with a taxi and a about $12 USD you can get there.

The staff is great. They let me check out a couple hours late. Also, they gave me a hospitality room to take a shower before going to the airport late at night. It made the long trip home much better.

Good location to catch flights, to go to Juhu beach or to catch fast train to South Mumbai. It is really value for money in Mumbai. Rooms are big and clean and comfortable. There is weird part with toilet, which is great, but divided by glass...so if you are not solo traveller, you will be watching your fellow co traveler doing all the things we are […] doing in toilet. Don't take cabs in front of hotel, expensive. Just walk 100 meters further and you'll find better option for your pocket. Stuff is really helpful and warm. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was good and rasonably priced. The only downside was the glass walled en-suite bathroom. OK if you are on your own. Not sure how a couple would take to it though.

"Good value for the money"
Very pleasant hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and comfortable room. Only issue I had with the room was that the refrigerator didn't seem to cool very well in the cabinet that it's in, but just leaving the door to the cabinet open fixed that issue. My room was a bit noisy during most of the night ... sounded like the kitchen staff was preparing […] for the next day. My advice would be to try to get a room that is on the side of the building opposite the main elevators and not on the same side of the building as the elevators themselves. A friend who had a room on that side of the building didn't hear any noises, where I was kept up a fair bit of the night by them. Note that you have to pay for internet service in the hotel so it can get a bit expensive for long stays, especially since the internet speed is fairly slow (at least compared to the speeds that I'm used to at home). The hotel is a bit of a distance away from restaurants, but luckily the in-hotel restaurant is pretty good. Didn't have a single bad meal while I was there, and I ate there at least once a day. Note that they don't offer anything in the way of Western food, but if you like Indian food you should be kept happy and full for very reasonable rates. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Residency - a bad choice"
I chose this hotel based upon the write up on hotels.com....it was a mistake. The hotel is far from the airport...through Mumbai's nightmare traffic. Taxi drivers have a DIFFICULT time locating this hotel due to the ongoing road detours due to highway construction near by. Lobby is clean, front desk staff is welcoming...however the rooms are old, smelly, […] and there was NO HOT or WARM water for bathing... Kerala style bath is not everyone's choice!!! "Nice Airport hotel"
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. It's close to the airport, which was nice as my flight got in at 2 am. Unfortunately despite booking a ride from the airport, no one showed, so someone from their downtown branch dropped me off.

It took over one and a half hpurs at midnight to find hotel. with prepaid taxi from Mumbai airport, perhaps more clearer instuctions required, hopefully in Indian so non speaking Englisg taxe drivers can find place.

we stayed 1 night, despites flight was delay, perfect picup at airport, nice, clean and large room, good indian breakfast, helpful reception. far from the city, but good place to spend a peaceful night!

The hotel is located conveniently near the int'l airport. Given the friendly service and the fact that the rooms are clean (which is not always the case in India..) it's a good choice if you look for a convenient way of bridging time between flights. They do wake up calls and arrange free airport shuttles (at least to the airport...). The food tasted […] lovely but caused some tummy ache later on.... We stayed here for 2 nights after a long flight in and plans to move on once un-jetlagged. Not far from the airport but quite a distance from the city proper. Service was friendly, room comfortable and well appointed, dining room convenient with good food. "Excellent customer service"
When we arrived at the airport we didn't want any hassle with finding a taxi, so we arranged for airport pickup. The driver was there waiting for us and we were at the hotel within a few minutes. The electicity and water went out for a bit, but one phone call to the front desk and it was on again within about 10 minutes. The service was EXCELLENT! […] We were catching a train late at night the next day, so front desk arranged for a taxi to their other location (near the train station). Even though we weren't staying at the other location, they let us leave our bags in the lobby so we didn't have to carry them around all day. They also called a doctor, and let us use one of their rooms for a private consultation. I would definitely stay here again, its a nice first step off the plane for your first time in India! Active major construction close to the hotel is a bit inconvenient but a good hotel for the price. Breakfast can be improved. Baths are not suitable if you are not alone because there is no privacy (glass walls). No wash towels just full size bath towels..

Hotel and service are good. But the location is such that there is construction for Metro in progress now. So finding the hotel was a nightmare. Going anywhere from the hotel was also a challenge. When the construction is finished, this would be a great location as it is very close to most attractions in Mumbai and also the airport.

Excellent facilities, rooms, service and food. Only problem is that the hotel is quite far from the downtown touristic areas (about 1/1.5 hour drive with a cab). However it is close to the airport.
"Sanctuary in the City"
After travelling to the hotel I was greeted with warm smiles and assistance to the beautiful lobby. The check in was super fast and easy, the friendly staff was attentive to the need of getting refreshed before dealing with anything else. The room was amazing, clean and comfortable very modern, and quality furnishings. There was a tea kettle to boil […] water, and a comfy bathrobe for relaxing after the super hot shower! The room had dark shades to allow for day sleeping if necessary. "Good simple hotel at affordable price"
Stayed over the weekend, rooms are clean and in good condition. Staff very helpful and in walking distance to Andheri metro station but a bit far from central Mumbai. Very easy to airport and provided a very helpful airport pickup and drop off. On my last day the let me check out at 4pm for free which was very helpful.

Die im Preis enthaltene Abholung vom Flugplatz hatte sehr schlecht funktioniert (obwhol ich das per Mail über 1 Monat mit den genauen Flugdaten im Voraus angefordert hatte). Es war kein Abholer da. Nach meinem Anruf wurde ein Fahrzeug losgeschickt. Der Fahrer fand den "Picking up point" (wo ca. 20 andere Hotls zur Abholung vertreten waren) nicht; nur […] mit Unterstützung eines lokalen Taxifahrers konnte ich mit dem Fahrer des Hotels einen Treffpunkt abstimmen (ich habe keine lokalen Kenntnisse). War schon in div Hotels in Bombay. Das Preis LeistungVerhältnis ist bei Residency Andheri wirklich hervorragend. Der 7 und 8 Stock sind neu renoviert und das Personal ist äusserst freundlich. "Very good hotel"
Nice clean and close to the airport only 20 min away. The staff were very kind and we had a very good service. The only bad things is that you could see throgh the barthroom wall cause it was made by glass... a bit strange if you are with a friend... Other very nice!

Wanneer je in de buurt van de luchthaven wilt overnachten in een confortabele kamer dan kan ik dit hotel aanraden. We sliepen in een gerenoveerde kamer met flat screen TV, regendouche met warm water, heerlijk bed, koelkastje, safe en koffie-/theevoorzieningen. Rustig gelegen, geen overlast van verkeer. Alles wat je nodig hebt om confortabel te overnachten. […] Wij verbleven er 2 nachten op doorreis. Airport pick up was inbegrepen in de kamerprijs en werd stipt uitgevoerd. Gezien het prijsniveau in Mumbai vonden we dit hotel van een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Minpuntjes: op maandag waren de obers in het ontbijtgedelte lang niet zo vriendelijk en servicegericht als op zondag. In een piepklein hoekje van de receptie is slechts 1 PC beschikbaar voor gasten.
