JE NE COTOIE PAS DEPUIS TRES LONGTEMPS LES HOTELS; MAIS J4AI UNE PREFERENCE POUR LES CAMPANILES; SI JE NE ME TROMPE PAS C EST LE PREMIER QUE JE TROUVE AVEC UN GOUT DE RENOUVEAU. LES CHAMBRES D UN AUTRE STYLE PLUS JEUNE... PLUS BIEN ETRE; BRAVO

Nice location and view from the room we had at the rear, over the meadow to see the Catherdral. Breakfast very varied and plentiful. Would definately use again.

My wife and I stayed three nights in the Campanile Bayeux which was a few short blocks outside the city center. We had a view of the Bayeux Cathedral and some dairy cows outside our door. The train station was a four block walk away as well. My wife and I knew a few phrases on french, but it was not needed as the hotel staff spoke english too. If you […] plan to do the Normandy beach tours, most of the companies running the tours will pick up at the Campanile Bayeux. The Bayeux Cemetary where a few thousand British, Polish, Russian and Czech soldiers that liberated Bayeux were buried is three short blocks away as well as a nice museum. Hotel was within walking distance of Bayeux town. Good breakfast served. Good value for money.

A modern, clean room I would call IKEA-like. Friendly staff.

Fantastic location, we had a room overlooking field with cows. We parked up and walked into town, 5 mins flat so no excuse. We compared prices of breakfast and Campanile is by far the best value for choice. I mean, it was ok...clean and comfortable. VERY quiet. It was just not like other hotels, in that it was quite stark, almost hostel like in nature. Two twin beds in a small room, and no carpet. It didn't have anything extra special that is for sure. Oh, except for crickets. It had a couple of those. Our room backed to a field with cows and frogs, which […] I thought was quite endearing, but then I used to live in the country. The crickets were only trouble-some at night if you had to get up and go to the bathroom, and when you turned on the light they scurried around. Kinda creepy. I think if the room you end up with is used by a lot of other people, you wouldn't have the cricket problem. Or maybe that is just the result of being next to that field. Anyway, it was ok. comfortable,clean,good restaurant, staff friendly and helpful. close to centre of Bayeux.

Room was good, food in the restaurant was amongst the best we had eaten on this trip to France. Breakfast was quite basic but good value. Staff were very helpful.

This hotel is in a great location, very near on the sights of WW2. Even 100 yards down the road there is D Day Cemetery and museum. The hotel is near all the D Day Cemeteries and war sights. I have stayed there before, and would stay again.

Hotels within Bayeux can be very expensive. I found this hotel to be clean, English speaking staff and quiet. It was about a 5 to 10 minute walk into Bayeux- which is such a pretty, lovely place. Hotel in convenient location for tourist sites in Normandy. Staff very friendly. Good Restaurant. Rooms clean, great shower. On the down side, rooms very small. Good overall value.

Motel style accomodation with typically French small room. Clean with comfortable beds. In parkland area but on the outskirts of the town which is about a 10 min walk away. Fine accomodation for a short no frills 1-2 night stay.

This hotel is just outside the city center, but the walk only took about 5 minutes. Also about a 5 minute walk to the train station. The room was newly renovated and very clean. Also the restaurant was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We were a group of three and a cot was added to a regular room. There was hardly enough room to get to get to the bathroom between the beds. I would have rather they had said they could not accommodate three. Otherwise, it would have been a comfortable stay.

Wow, this little town is AMAZING. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the entire historical town of Bayoux...If you are going to take a D-Day tour, many of the top tour companies pick up no more than a 5 minute walk from this hotel. Rooms are small but clean...WIFI in the rooms was convenient and free.

A more-than-adequate hotel for a visit to the landing beaches. Meals were rather expensive and I wish I'd taken the opportunity to sample the resta urants in the nearby town - although there aren't many

The sheets were shining white. There is a kettle in the room so we could drink tea. Everything is new and pleasant. Although close to a road - very quite and green. It is not in the center - but we could park our car - and walk to the center.

This was the second Campanile property that we stayed in during our trip and it was considerably better than the first one. The restaurant was pretty good and seemed to have quite a few local customers as we had to make reservations for dinner. The Tapistry Museum is within walking distance as were some other local sights.

My fiance came to stay in Bayeux, France to see the D-day invasion site from World War II. Bayeux is exceptionally close to those historic beaches. This hotel was a fantastic spot to stay. I would highly recommend it. The room was adequately large enough. Most of the staff spoke adequate English if you don't know a lick of French. The staff did a good […] job but a couple of times I felt they were a little curt and not quite being nice. They had a restaurant with the hotel that served a great breakfast but a not so great dinner. And the meals were expensive at the hotel. You would be better off eating inside the town. Excellent taxi services in the area to shuttle you around. Be careful though, sometimes I think the taxi services try to pull a little extra money out of you. The hotel, which is really a motel, was a totally adequate place to stay. It was nice to stay in a room with more space after the ones we stayed in in Paris and Caen. It was especially nice as it was a very close drive in to Bayeux to see the sights, and to the D-Day beaches. The room was clean and quiet. The parking is free. Yes it would have been […] nice to stay in a hotel on one of the main streets in town, but this was definitely close enough, we really are talking two minutes away!! This hotel is very well located for visiting Bayeux and for onward travel. It is located 5 mins walk from Bayeux centre and easily accessible from motorways. Hotel rooms basic , clean and satisfactory for an overnight stay.

This hotel is located less than a mile either the Bayeux train station or the Bayeux Cathedral and Tapestry Museum. The rooms are pleasant. Compared to OUR experience with European hotels, both the sleeping room and bathroom are more spacious normal. From our room on the backside of the hotel we enjoyed the sights of both grazing cattle in the nearby […] meadow and a beautiful view of the Bayeux Cathedral. Excellent location. Easy walking distance into the centre and also to see the tapestry (10 mins). Easy to find the hotel and good parking. The room was adequate. The only criticsm I have is that sound proofing between rooms could be a lot better.

Having booked this hotel for its central location in relation to the D-Day areas, I was not expecting that for the cheap price we would get so much for our money. The hotel location provides a lovely walk into town one way and a scenic stroll to the British WW2 cemetery the other. Our windows had a view of the cathedral and a delightful cow pasture. […] The room was basic, but very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. This is a great hotel central to the battlefields and museums for the D-Day invasions. The staff was wonderful and made us feel welcome from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Each of them spoke English well and entertained our very broken French. We enjoyed their breakfast offerings each morning. This hotel, was clean and much nicer than expected, check in was no problem, the bed was very comfortable and it was walking distance to the centre of town. Overall very impressed.

I was afraid this hotel was too far outside the town of Bayeux, but it was an easy walk to the town center. This was the most comfortable room I have stayed in in Europe. Extremely clean and spacious for the money. The view walking out our door was of a serene cow pasture with the beautiful Bayeux cathedral in the near distance. Great hotel for the price. Staff was very helpful and service was great. Restaurant service was typical for France. Food was decent and very well priced compared to others in France. Menu in the major languages. Room was small but expected at the price. Bed was very hard but tolerable.

Really good location near the center of Bayeux. The restaurant was outstanding. Recommend only one night's stay if you're only doing one day in Normandy. Walking distance to the Tapestry of Bayeux or if you're doing a battlefield tour.

Very clean, well-run hotel in quiet location. My only complaint was that there is no luggage storage which is an issue since the local train station also does not have luggage storage

Lett adkomst og gratis parkering! "Landlig" men allikevel veldig sentralt. God frokost (som ikke er inkludert i prisen). Deilig seng og helt ok rom/bad. Ekstraseng på rommet ikke noe problem mht plass. Akkurat passe spasertur til "riktig side" av sentrum, med severdigheter og restauranter. Anbefales!

Godt udgangspunkt for besøg til seværdigheder i forhold til d dag. Pæn og nydelig hotel der bestemt lever op til hotellets egen beskrivelse. Centrum er i gå afstand fra hotelet. Vi ville vælge det igen.
