Accommodation was new and fairly nice but wanted to use pool but found it so close to freeway that it wasn't inviting and the whirlpool didn't work. Had reserved room with king size bed and got room with two queens.

Arrived late and still got great service at the desk with no wait. Genuinely polite and friendly service. If it wasn't for the great staff, this place would have received a 2 overall. The physical facility is outdated. New paint, furnishings and wall paper. But it is apparent that this place was remodeled on a tight budget. great value, close to food and just off freeway, easy access roads.

Very inexpensive, but not a great stay. Lots of "temp housing" people staying here, and police were on constant patrol. I will NOT stay here again.

Everything was pretty good, except our room smelled like cigarette smoke; even the blankets & pillows. And the entire second floor was SUPPOSED to be NON-SMOKING. The price was good, the breakfast was fair, it was clean, good towels, good service, etc... I just hate the smoke smell. Toast, Eggos, Cold Cereals...... I think they really limited the options here. Even the Orange Juice Machine was out of order. A Bagel couldn't hurt or a substitute juice. Cranberry maybe? Not everyone drinks coffee! Decent room although it had the smallest "King Sized" beds I've ever seen! In a pinch it works an price was reasonable. I would not recommend this hotel. First of all do not believe what you read. They do not have memory foam mattress or sleep number mattress. That is not true. They have a huge plumbing problem, when the staff tried to fix it they could only fix it 80%. We were stuck with a toilet that could not flush. We had the worst time of our lives here.

I requested a non-smoking room but the room next door and across the hall were smoking rooms and the smell in the hall was horrible. The room looked clean but there was trash under the bed and ink writing on the blanket that looked like it had been drawn on, so led me to believe them to not be clean. If you want to sleep Don't stay here, next to freeway,noise all night....

We did one night on a Sunday and we had no complaintsl. I noticed the front desk staffer was usually preoccupied in back and often the front desk was not attended. I hate to have to pound on a desk to get someone to come and take care of me.

Our compliments to your evening check-in gal, who also checked us out the following morning! Despite very little time-off for rest or sleep, she we very cordial and helpful at both times. Give this young lady a raise - "she's a keeper" for you! Best Regards, Bill & Marie O

The internet is very very very slow and doesn't work consistently. The room is bigger than most. The staff is friendly. The hotel is old, but its an ok place to stay... The breakfast in the morning is very sparse....

Arrived and room I had booked was not available. The man in line in from of me seemed to have the same problem. Lobby was full of vagrant looking folk and dirty children. This place is obviously a weekly motel not a quick travel stop. Against my better judgement I stayed the night anyway. I woke up at 7am to barley 50 degree temperatures in my room, […] becuase the heater did not work...in Febuary. as soon as I got out of my vehicle rocklin police department rushed me and ask about my back window of vehicle. then asked for ID like I had donew something wrong for coming to frequent you place. Good Deal for price - real Friendly Staff .

The hotel was a good stay with exception of the very slow draining sink in the bathroom.

We've stayed in this hotel between Christmas and New Year's twice and this year it was definitely in worse condition than last year. Dogs barking from nearby rooms, heaters that didn't work, maids that didn't return in the afternoon if you missed the morning rounds.

Nice price, guy that helped us was solid even w/ or late night check in - but it is on TOP of the freeway with lots of noise.

The hotel was great especially for the price. I actually liked everything but the bed - it was way to hard and I woke with a terrible backache each day (5 day stay). I also wish there was atleast a comfortable chair in the room (it only had a desk chair). But it was safe, clean and pretty quiet - again, great for the price.

I should have known better.

We greatly enjoyed our brief stay In Rocklin. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We were an early check-in and room wasn't ready, but she was able to offer us some other choices. Our room was clean and there lots of magazines available with interesting events in the area. Many nearby restaurants. the lobby quite […] accommodating and nice to have coffee available at all times. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast - the only situation there was that the toaster takes an extended amount of time, but we were in no rush, so didn't matter. Basic budget friendly hotel that has great freeway access with many choices of restaurants nearby as well. We stayed on our way to Reno, nice stop over location. Continental breakfast is very simple, the rooms are also simply furnished, but clean, good air conditioning, nice looking pool area. Very easy check-in and check-out.

I guess when you pay so little for a hotel room you should not be surprised that it is very basic. Our room was on the freeway side. It was noisy like other people said, but we could not hear the traffic if the t.v. or air conditioner was on. The t.v. is high up in one corner of the room so you have to sit on the bed by the window to watch it. When […] we got off the elevator, the hall smelled of beer. It seems that people threw away their beer bottles by the soda machine, which is located by the elevator. The desk clerks and maid were polite and helpful. I had no problems with the room, I would stay again. Guess i got lucky with the room not facing toward the freeway. Good to know if I ever go back. Noticed that alot of the pple were living there. It was not problem for me. Staff was very friendly....So for the price I was very happy and would stay again.

Hotel amenities for the price is ok Breakfast is the best thing I like, they have better selections compared to some hotel of the same category-they have yogurt, bagels with cream cheese and fruits, in addition to cereals The rooms are clean but needs maintenance -we needed to be transferred to another room after the toilet in our room overflowed […] , the carpet is peeling off and one of the beds in the double room where we got moved is sagging on one side, you can't lay comfortably. The neighborhood seems safe, but the hotel itself seems not because the whole time we we're there, there was a patrol car roaming around the hotel grounds. The hotel is walking distance to taco bell, denny's, arby's burger and a block away from safeway I certainly would recommend this to people who are on a budget, it's not too bad for its price Lisez la suite

A drive through the beautiful canyon after rafting the South Fork of the American River. This hotel is a convenient place for an overnighter before a trip back home. Many shops and eateries nearby, Safeway, CVS Pharmacy and so forth. It's definitely a great stop over to and from Reno or north lake tahoe. Would definitely come back if needed !!!

This hotel is next to restaurants, fast food, shops, stores and all but tucked away in a back corner off the street. Clean hotel and my stay was great. Only thing they need improvement on is more at the breakfast besides cereal and bananas.

We were greeted like red-headed stepchildren, given a room right by the elevator, as well as the ice machine, facing the freeway, the noise from outside and inside was difficult, to say the least. To top it off, they assigned our room, the day after we'd already checked in, to other guests, gave them the key and they walked into our room. This travel stop landed me in Rocklin, CA. This hotel was conventiently close to a Hwy 80 exit and services of all types. The Heritage Inn Express is off the main road and tucked away in a quiet location. Grounds were clean, well lit and safe. Staff was helping in offering suggestions on where to observe 4th of July celebrations and restaurant option. The […] AC in the room was not working but they quickly sent over a knowledgable mantenance person who prompty fixedt the problem. The staff at the Heritage Inn Express were very nice to deal with. The grounds had sufficient area for my dog to use during our stay. The room was really well appointed and included a sitting area and kitchenette type area. The cleanliness of the room was fine, everything seemed clean and kept. The continental breakfast was very good, nice selection and plenty of it. The only negative was: the small refrigerator in our room was someone's left over food. That was pretty disgusting. The hotel staff was very nice. The overall experience was "average".
