My family had a great time it was our first visit. The kids enjoyed the water park so much.

The hotel was fully booked but yet we slept 11 hrs. undisturbed our first night! The water park has something for everyone. I love that they will let you stay in the park even though you were to check out of the hotel. Great location--near great restaurants! We're going back!

We stayed on a Tuesday night in March during the non-spring break time and it was wonderful. The park was barely occupied and we never waited in line for one ride the entire time we were there. We asked for a little later check out and the hotel accommodated and allowed us to hang out in the park for a while longer.

Hotel was ok, very easy to get to, rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel was expensive compared to other hotels in the area and the water park was small compared to others in the area.

We went for a mini vacation with 4 kids... ranging in age from 18 mos. to 14. The hotel was probably awesome when first built, but is starting to show it's wear. The room was available for early check-in so that was a plus, check-in was a breeze since we booked thru hotels.com. The room was spacious enough, family suite with fireplace. It did lack a […] counter area and available oulet outside the only bathroom. Not adequate counter space for 6 people to share. As for the waterpark, it was a little disappointing in the fact that many of the faucet and squirting activities no longer worked. The wave pool was not filled to the normal water height, not sure why. And for our 8 year old who really wanted to shoot hoops in the pool, the water was too deep for him to touch bottom... It lacked a large play pool in my opinion. Another disappointing tidbit, the pool doesn't open until 9 am, one pool are doesn't open until 9:30... on weekdays...hard to enjoy the pool in the morning, shower and get out by the checkout time of 11 am. We went to an alternate waterpark just down the street, much bigger, many more pools and was in much better condition at the time... 6 years ago. On a positive note, it was a pleasant family atmosphere. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately the facility is just begining to show it's age. Very well used, as is everything in the Dells. Glad we didn't pay full price for the room or splurged on a condo or loft... not worth the extra expense. Lisez la suite

Have stayed at the Great Wolf 6 times and will be going back! We have stayed at all the big water-park resorts in the Dells and some of the small ones but always happy to go back to the Great Wolf. Our kids have grown some since the first visit,7 years ago,but there is still plenty to do for older kids too. Went with 4 other families for New Ye ar's […] Eve and we all has a great time! We stopped here for a fun evening of in the waterpark after a long drive. Kids love the place and get excited everytime we drive up. It is a little pricey for a hotel, but with the waterpark we make a special occasion out of the day and they get some good memories.

Took 2 teens and a "tween" here over Christmas break. Waited in line for almost :40 mins just to check in upon arrival. Had a standard double queen room which was adequate. The indoor water park portion is not really anything special. For the kids in my group (ages 12-15) There was really only 3 slides that interested them.. plus the Howlin' Tornado […] ride. Other than that.. the wave pool and lazy river (which was rather short). The younger of my group did enjoy the adjoining MagiQuest facility. The resort is very easy to get to, right off the interstate and the surrounding area has no shortage of restaurant choices and even some shopping. This is the second time I have stayed at this resort but can't really give it more than an "average" rating. Lisez la suite

I did not recieve the room I paid for. We booked a room with 2 queen beds, sofa, fireplace and balcony. Our room had no balcony. I do not blame Hotels.com/Expedia I think the hotel, being busy from holiday guests, just put us in there thinking we would not care. Not happy :(

The waterpark is actually one big one with 3 corridors, if you will, so it's a great adventure for the kids. It's definitely geared towards kids so the adults in our party were a little bored as far as water activities. However, the adults only whirlpool is a nice respite. The on site restaurant was pricey so we didn't eat there and the snack bars are […] very overpriced so I suggest bringing your own snacks to the hotel and going back to the room for that. I was very impressed with the lifeguards in the water area because they were very alert and always moving, watching for any sign of trouble. The hotel room was disgustingly dirty behind the beds. The only reason we look behind there is because we check for bedbugs at every hotel we stay at. The carpet was extremely dirty so when we walked in our socks they turned dark grey within minutes. But, what do you expect for hotel carpeting, I guess? The extra activities like 9am wolf walk in the main lobby, 8pm pajama story time both for kids as well as a superior gift shop with more than just Great Wolf memorabilia are really a nice bonus. The arcade is second to none as far as every other waterpark we have stayed at so we intend to return often to this arcade even though we will stay elsewhere. Overall, good for a short stay but for 3 nights or longer we'll stay down the street. Lisez la suite

We had an incident where our 13 year old son decided to leave the hotel to calm down, but when he didn't come back we looked for him on our own with no luck. I went to the front desk and was so grateful for the quick response to my situation. The gentleman at the front desk was very professional and helpful and the entire staff was thorough in their […] approach. My son was just in the parking lot, and they found him quickly. Great location, room was nice. Housekeepers never vacuumed our room during our 3 nights stay and you need that when you have kids with you. Vacuuming is a plus with me! Wouldn't definitely go back again.

expensive hotel to have towels that look like they have been washed 800 times with strings hanging off them, indoor water park was the ultimate attraction as outside waterpark was closed for the winter, main indoor waterpark was closed for construction and other two indoor water park rooms were boring and not enough, really needed the main one for a […] good experience, would have been nice if they would have told us about the construction prior to booking, probably will not go back Lisez la suite

My child got to wear wolf ears in hotel restaurant which was cute; they loved the Wizard Quest game; water slides were awesome and very suitable for families.

Our room was reasonably clean, but the mirror and sliding door were very smeared and dirty looking. The real clincher to my "renovation needed" comment was that there were tears in the sofa upholstery - just looked very worn. Room looked very 90's. AC was very loud and should be modernized. I thought I'd go here after going to an oustside waterpark as a treat for my kids. Problem was I didnt know it was mostly for younger kids. mine are 11 and 16. A bit expensive for them to try and have fun at a kiddies waterpark.

We had a fantastic stay. After driving through the whole Dells area to see the quality of the other hotels and resorts, we were relieved that we paid a little more for Great Wolf. Nothing seedy here, very well-behaved children, an entirely enjoyable and carefree experience.

ONLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN that insist -- and then only if they are younger children. The water rides are pretty tame and the whole place could use a facelift. Don't be fooled by the misnomer "suites." There is no such thing. They told me they refer to all of their rooms as suites because of the amenities they offer. We had never been to the big waterparks, so with the potential crowds and lines, we wanted a place that was family friendly and would have enough on-site fun for the kids. If you've got kids under 12 and don't plan on spending more than a couple days, there will probably be enough for them to have a really good time. We were there for 2 nights and also […] got passes to Noah's Ark (20% off if you get them through Great Wolf), and that was a blast too. A nice place for families with younger kids ( 3-12). A bit pricey by my standards, but so is everything else in this tourist area. Breakfast buffet was good, Overall service in all areas was good.

WE had a great time at the Great Wolf. I had reserved a "Kids Cabin" Room, but since my kids are older teens, the check-in clerk suggested a loft room would be more commfortable since the kids cabin bunk beds are for younger kids- I was upgraded at no extra charge. Awesome. The room was large and clean with comfortable beds. The water park is not a […] large as at some of the other waterpark hotels - but the parks are very adequate if staying only 1 noght or a couple of nights with tweens or younger, - older teens would get bored after one day and want a laarger more massive. My girlfriend and I just wanted to get away for the weekend. The hotel is very nice and our room was immaculate. We could have not asked for a better weekend.

Great room for the money.

Hotel was great...water park was great! Weaterh not so great....Overall trip was a good mid summer get away! Would reccommend to others!

We were put into a non smoking room, but could tell it use to be a smoking room. The mattress had some stains on the side that were visible from the other side of the room, but was comfortable. The water park was great for my 2.5 year old and I loved that they had a children's craft room and storytime in the evening. Very children friendly.

This was a fantastic hotel. The waterpark was great, we especially enjoyed the wave pool. They have alot of lifeguards who keep an excellent eye on everyone. The room was very nice. The only complaint I would have about the suite was there were very few complimentary toilettries provided, and we were able to hear the people walking around in the room […] above us. Just stayed at the Great Wolfe this past weekend in a Kids Suite. My kids thought it was the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and we stay at 7 or 8 different hotels every year. The accomodations were excellent. The room was clean, large, comfortable and the balcony was fantastic. My wife really loved the rustic furnishings and fireplace that made […] it feel like we were in a cabin lounge, except for all of the modern comforts and amenities. The indoor waterpark was great too, but the attached MagiQuest activity was, by far, the biggest hit with my family. We would go back to this hotel for that alone. Plus, if you are a guest of the hotel, you even get additional bonuses with MagiQuest. The only negative comment I have is that the food prices were Amusement Park high. stayed at the great wolf lodge for the second time. excellent hotel great staff and service they extended our check out time for free. did not like that the magiquest is extra for hotel guests wiley wodds when it was opened was free and for guests only. would stay here again

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge for two nights/three days and overall had a good time. The waterpark was much enjoyed by our family (kids are 11, 8 and 3) and it was the perfect "size" for them. I can see where as they get older this type of waterpark could get a little boring for them, but for now it was definitely enough! It was great that we didn't […] really have to leave the hotel if we didn't want to (especially in the case of bad weather) but it seemed that everywhere we turned we were spending money! I suppose that's the case for most vacations, but here it was a little on the expensive side. While the food was pricy, I have to say that it was quite good and the portions were HUGE. We could have probably gotten away with ordering 1/2 as much and sharing. Great Wolf is a nice place, but it is also getting a little dated and run-down looking. A few of the foam "toddler" waterslides are falling apart, paint is chipping elsewhere in the park, wallpaper peeling in the bedrooms, etc. Some general maintenance is definitely needed! Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The waterpark is fun and the room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pretty reasonably priced. The only complaint I had with it was the fact that a lady who worked there cleared our table away when we had walked away to get more food. Value for dollar spent was poor. We expected more and htel was showing age. The water park was decent but again for the money it should of wowed us. Service was okay and seemed rushed to get our room ready. Rooms were the ordinary motel room and was acceptable clean.
