Located behind McDonalds next to Great Wolf Lodge The indoor pool area is not recommended for anyone over 8 years (outdoor not yet open) Fitness room equiptment not well maintained.
"Great staff"
We went to the Wintergreen for a night so our daughter could use the pool area which is great for kids. Our daughter unfortunately got sick during the night, and when we notified the staff the next morning, they were very helpful and understanding. The lounge prices were very reasonable, and the location to restaurants is pretty nice as well.

We were in Wisconsin Dells for the Wisconsin State Pool Tournament at the Kalahari. The Kalahari was out of group rates by the time I booked rooms, so we stayed at the Wintergreen because it was the closest distance to the Kalahari and the prices were very reasonable. "So much better than I expected!"
After reading some reviews on cleanliness issues, I was very worried! I cannot stand smelly rooms and have left places fully paid for if there was an oder. There was none!!! The staff were amazing - they even accomodated our early arrival! The pool area was PERFECT for our three small children. "The Wintergreen Hotel - Lake Delton, WI."
The Wintergreen hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of Wi. Dells / Lake Delton attractions, Theater, Restaraunts, Tanger Mall, Theme parks, etc. The Wintergreen itself is a very nice, clean & well run Hotel and is an excellent place to stay and center yourself around all the attractions.

Dissapointed in location- I paid extra to have a poolside room and was placed on the street side. Their explanation was the outdoor pool was closed so there were no poolside rooms. The ad did not specify outdoor poolside. I was expecting indoor poolside. The room smelled like someone was smoking in it and it was a non-smoking room the odor was horrible!!
"Wintergreen Resort - convenient and clean"
My wife and I stayed here and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late, around 11:30 on a Friday night, yet there were two receptionists at the front desk who were both friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. We would stay here again.

Was nice we had a two year old and she loved having the water park right there. Overall hotel is pretty good. Also got a discounted price on noah's ark tickets.

I really liked the hotel and the location. It was so quiet and sound proof. The pool area was so excellent and cozy. Enjoyed the pool slides. I would recommend this to friends, family and everyone....

Room was small, beds were hard, pillows were flat, TV was snowy and the carpet was dingy. The bathroom was extremely small and the vanity was in the actual room. When you flushed the toilet it was so loud we had to shut the door when we were done. Room Service breakfast was good and delivered in a timely manner. This is a "middle nice" hotel for the Dells. It's not a shabby "Mom and Pop" or as nice as the Black Wold or Wilderness. That said our room would have been fine if it had been cleaner and better maintained. The TV was snowy and the counter had dried soda on it. As past reviews stated, the beds are extremely hard! Overall, the hotel is nice for a family with young children.
"Not very nice, but within walking distance to Mall"
The Wintergreen is located right next to the Tanger Outlet Mall. The hotel staff is friendly enough, and the rooms were clean. We are used to staying at Marriott or Fairfield Inn's, so the Wintergreen was a big step down. The weekend we stayed there was a wedding there, and Tanger had a BBQ bash going on. There was also a classic car show, so the hotel […] was busy and the it showed with the way the staff rushed you during check-in. The Lobby, hallways and our room had a bad smell. I mean really bad B.O. old man smell. They were plainting the pool outside, so you couldn't open the window to get any fresh air either. The bar is decent for a hotel bar, and the bartender was friendly. No continental breakfast though, but it seems as though other hotels in the area do not offer one either. There is not an ice maker on every floor, so we had to go from the third floor to the first floor every time we needed ice. Not the fanciest hotel around, but the value and location were great.

Went to visit the Dells with my gf, and we booked a hotel room at the Wintergreen Resorts because it had a microwave, fridge, and an indoor pool. The front desk service was very accommodating, the room was very clean, and while the beds weren't the softest, they were just fine. Decent value for the money.
