Hotel situé à 15/20 minutes du centre ville (en bus+métro ou 40/45 minutes à pied), arret de bus au pied de l'hotel (pensez à la carte 3 jours pour les transports). Chambre spacieuse, insonorisée, très propre. Points positifs: prix, matelas, sauna gratuit. Points négatifs: Petit déjeuner à 17 euros qui ne les vaut pas, heureusement pour 4/5 euros vous pouvez manger assis dans la boulangerie en face, pas de clim dans les chambres, internet à 5 euros pour une heure, mais 30 minutes offertes/jour.

A&O München Hauptbahnhof se trouve à Munich (Hauptbahnhof), à proximité des sites suivants : Eglise Saint-Paul, Marienplatz et Eglise Saint-Jean-Népomucène. Les sites Frauenkirche et Vieille pinacothèque se trouvent également à proximité.

Juste à l'Ouest de la vieille ville, le quartier autour de la gare principale regorge d'hôtels et de zones piétonnes avec une multitude de boutiques. Un peut plus au Nord, se trouvent le quartier des musées de la ville, l'Alte et la Nouvelle Pinacothèque, la Pinacothèque d'Art Moderne, la Glyptothèque restaurée, le Musée des Antiquités et le Lenbachhaus où sont exposées les oeuvres du peintre bavarois Franz von Lenbach.

"Surprisingly Clean, good stay!"
I'm an avid world traveler, so surprised that this hotel was so clean, my room was efficient, clean, nice bathroom, great location, and great working free wifi in the lobby. Rooms are basic dorm style, I had a single room, it was more spacious than I expected, and many plug outlets, which was great! It also had the fastest elevator I've seen in Europe! I […] read the reviews before booking, and it was good, I'm glad I booked it. Facts, when going to the elevator there are 5 steps to get up to the elevator, not a big deal for most. The tub edge by the wall is flat so water will always collect and pour onto the floor, I suggest putting an extra towel down. The hotel should really buy some plastic edges to put on the corners to solve this issue, and the shower curtain may stick to your legs, I was okay. Beds are comfy enough for a few nights stay, you can control the heat in the room, great value hotel. No phone in the room, I didn't need it though. I skipped the breakfast, was minimal, I preferred to eat in the train station, they have everything! It's a 5min walk or less. (after this hotel I stayed at another A&O in Nuremberg, also very clean and best location!) I had no problems on my stay, but it does concern me that the luggage storage is not monitored better. Seems the desk should give luggage claim tickets out to help monitor belonging better. If I had a late evening flight I may have chosen a different hotel with a more secure bag storage so I could still tour around after checking out with out worrying, or lugging my bags around. I also used the train station lockers when I first arrived, 5euro for 24hrs, they seemed very secure and my tour guide said they are well monitored and haven't had problems. Safe travels! The hotel staff were supposed to be multi-lingual apparently, but we knew more German than they knew English! They also attempted to charge us for the room again on arrival even though we had paid in advance through hotels.com. It was all sorted out eventually. A basic, clean room, very close to the central train station.
"Cheap and cheerfull"
Not the sort of place that I would take my girlfriend but it's ideal for a lads weekend. Pretty basic but clean and breakfast was good value. My only complaint is that they tried to charge me on check in when I had already paid online.

I was concerned that it was DARK ( no light bulb) at any time with five steps in a hallway to the elevator! Why not put a light in that dark place on the steps? One good worker did all for us,to find the tour to Neuschwanstein and she was a great help. Thank you We enjoyed a good breakfast.

The Hotel/Hostel was affordable and in the right location for access to trains & buses, but few things worked, like the TV, which was never fixed, but had no English channels anyway. The computer to access the internet often did not not work. The toilet had to be fixed on two occasions. No telephone in room or other amenities. "Just what we needed"
Wanting basic accommodation for 12 people, we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and comfortable with good bathroom in each room. Couldnt ask more than that for the price paid!

Good place if all u want is a bed and a shower reception staff blunt and not knowllegable, clean basic rooms, central location, fine for a stag/bucks party stay or a backpacker cheap but thats it.

"Stolen Luggage/ Unhelpful Staff"
We had left a piece of luggage there while we traveled. We returned and it was stolen. We knew this was a risk but the real problem arrosed when we asked the staff about it. They seemed very suspicious, like they knew what had happened to it. For insurance reasons we needed to file a police report, the staff said that they would help with that and we […] were not allowed to take care of it ourselves. They acted like they were trying to help until we left the room for a minute then they completely stopped all efforts and would not provide any more assistance. A police report was never submitted because they "lost the forms" and we were not allowed to do it ourselves. Since this was our last destination we were not willing to prolong our trip to deal with this. This was not the only problem. When we went up to the room, we discovered that one of the beds was broken and it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. This hotel is not as well located as they make it seem. It is semi near the Train station, but there is still a bit of a walk to get to it and with a family and suitcases this was a bit of an inconvenience. Easy walk from the train station and close enough to walk to Marienplatz. If you are flying out of Munich take the train to the airport unless you want to spend about 60 Euros taking the taxi. My husband and I really enjoyed our staff at this hostel. The location is very convenient, only a short walk or 2 S-Bahn stations away from the city center. The only downside was that you have to pay for the TV, which was weird, but that's not what you travel for anyway. The staff was great and luckily everyone spoke great English. Yes, very student-like, but not at all bad, clean and well appointed if small rooms, an excellent included breakfast--better than many of the 15 Euro ones. Rather far from the Hauptbahnhof, but not unmanageable.

This hotel was in an excellent location, close to the train station, and close to the Oktoberfest grounds. Various modes of public transport are available, and accommodations were good.

The hotel was clean but needs some improvement. Problems-They have elevators but they do not start on the bottom floor so you need to carry your luggage up to the elevator level. They also do not have any clocks or phones in the room and are unable to provide wake up service for this reason. It is a no frills hotel and the price reflects this but for […] us we were not looking for anything special just a clean place to sleep and something close to acivity so we could walk to the action. This hotel is near the train station and the center of things which for that reason was great for our needs. "Great Cheap place"
The location was perfect about 300m to Train Station. Staff is very friendly. For the price, its a bargain. The only setback was that you have to walk up about 6-7 steps to get to the elevator.

"Goed hotel, zeer slechte bedden."
Het hotel is goedgelegen midden in Muchen. Parkeergelegenheid buiten is er niet want dan moet je betalen. Auto kan in de onderliggende garage maar niet met dakkoffer. Ons werd (aangezien wij dus een dakkoffer hadden) de mogelijkheid geboden om hem achterin bij het hotel te plaatsen. Dat was dan weer netjes. Badkamer was prima. Diesmal bin ich aber nicht zufrieden gewesen , Obwohl wenig Gäste waren , hat man mir ein Zimmer zugewiesen , dass auf Bodenebene direkt von der Eingangsstrasse weg ins Zimmer führte ......... Der Fussboden des Zimmers war mit eis- kalten Fliessen ausgelegt , wie etwa in Süditalien . Also völlig ungeeignet sich im Monat DEZEMBER darin wohl zu fühlen. Mir […] als älteren Person - oder gerade deswegen ? - ein solches Zimmer zu - zumuten, ist eine Respektlosigkeit sondersgleichen - und hat zur Folge , dass ich in Zukunft eine andere Unterkunft wählen werde und dieses Hotel auf keinen Fall mehr weiter empfehlen werde . "Das Hotel A&O liegt i der nähe des Hauptbahnhofs"
Das Hotel liegt in guter Lage man ist in 4min am Hauptbahnhof und in ca 12-15min am Marienplatz in München.Die Freundlichkeit einer Mitarbeiterin naja.Das Hotel ist nicht gerade sehr sauber was Zimmer und Eingangsbereich betrifft.Das Morgenbuffet war recht und dort war es sauber.Der absolute Hammer ist die Einstellhalle eine Katastrophe wir grosse mühe […] da wir ein grösseres Auto haben.Aber in München ist es schwierig ein Parkplatz zu finden.Aber im grossen und ganzen ist eben die Lage des Hotels die es ausmacht man ist schnell an verschiedenen Orten.Aber wir waren ja in München um die Stadt anzuschauen und nicht den Tag im Hotel zu verbringen.Wer nicht zu pingelig ist kann sich gut in diesem hotel ein günstiges Zimmer buchen.
