Great hotel. Sort of like a "W". Loved the 2nd floor sunbathing deck. Restaurant is awesome.Clean hotel, nice staff

Now I don't surf, but I love the surfer theme of this hotel. The location isn't central to anything other than the local beach and boardwalk. It is definitely a better fit for people without kids as there are no kid amenities like a pool, etc. But if you are looking for a cool small hotel with a contemporary vibe, I definitely recommend it. Very much enjoyed my stay at Tower23. A fun hotel with a great restaurant and bar. Located right on the beach with many good spots nearby. The staff was great and room was as well.

You can find parking around the hotel since the 20 dollar a night parking fee is pretty stiff. Great hotel. Complementary wireless which is huge. Coffee in the morning is nice. View is great. You are close to some restaurants and bars but usually you will need to drive. The room was very clean. Would stay here again. Tower 23 provides the perfect beach hotel with fantastic ocean views, clean lines and stylistic rooms, great staff and service and a great restaurant

Tower23 is located right in the heart of Pacific Beach, close to shops, right on the beach and close to lots of nice restaurants. The rooms are very big and I was amazed at what the cleaning staff do - in all the other hotels we stayed in the cleaners would just replace towels and make bed (normal stuff) but at Tower23 our cleaners picked all our clothes […] off the floor, folded them and put some things back in our open suitcases, fixed all my makeup that was scattered on the sink basin and put our shampoo and conditioner in our shower for us. Yes, it made us feel like grubs but it was a VERY nice surprise. The concierges are also very nice and helpful. The rooftop fire pit and seating area is also beautiful to watch the sunset and get the most out of their daily happy hour! Best hotel I saw in San Diego! Lisez la suite

We really enjoyed our stay at Tower23. It has such clean and modern lines mixed with a surf attitude - it was just what we were looking for. Our room was amazing. We were so glad that we upgraded to the oceanfront room instead of a partial. It was right over the boardwalk looking over the pier and all of the surfers in the ocean. Perfect view of the […] sunset which was an really cool experience each night. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. The only thing that I really have to complain about was a huge gross stain on the carpet by the west bed and a pretty big gross stain on the curtains. I know it sounds petty but for such a great place we hoped that they would've taken care of those eyesores. Other than that everything was great! We really miss our beds with the awesome pillows!!!! no pool or no hot tub (images on hotel website totally deceiving), no bath tub in room (was told there would be), no concierge, no valet, no-one at front desk to great us, very rude manager "on duty".

This hotel is welcoming, clean, friendly, helpful and it butts up right next to the ocean. The beds are very comfy. Decor is Contemporary. The bathrooms are a little small - not enough counter space. No bathtub either. (Spirit Pad). We visited in Feb. and the tourist count was very low. Which made a nice leisurely stay. Bring your surfboards... They […] have stalls to lock 'em up. Everyone was very friendly at this hotel. It was a great location right on the beach with easy access for walking/running. There are a lot of great places to eat and drink within walking distance. We only stayed one night and didn't spend any time in the restaurant so I can't comment on that at all, but the room was very comfortable and WE LOVED THE BATHTUB. In fact, it's the reason we chose this hotel. My only complaint is that It was VERY expensive.

Nice hotel. Very modern design. Great location on the beach and a good neighborhood for restaurants and sport shops. Did not eat in the restaurant but it looked like good food. We did eat in a restaurant across the street (Surfside sushi) that was excellent. No coffee machine in room but they do have coffee in the lobby in the morning. THIS IS A GREAT CONTEMPORARY HOTEL. IT IS RIGHT ON THE OCEAN. IT HAS A GREAT DECK ON THE 2ND FLOOR OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN. YOU CAN WATCH PEOPLE SURF AND THERE IS A BIKING/WALKING PATH THERE TOO WITH LOTS OF ACTION GOING ON. YOU SEE A GREAT SUNSET OVER THE OCEAN. THIS PLACE IS VERY HIP AND CONTEMPORARY FURNISHINGS ARE AWESOME.

The food was outstanding. Room service was just as good as the restaurant. Unbelievable low prices. At first we got a bigger room, with partial ocean views, but decided to downgrade to a smaller room with full ocean views. The only difference was the bigger room had a spa bathtub, and the smaller just had a shower. Very nice amenities. Everything was […] new, clean, and very trendy. Although Pacific Beach is not my favorite neighborhood in the SD area, Tower23 is always a fun place to stay. It is sort of self contained so you do not have to deal with the college kids running around on the periphery unless you want to. The hotel bar is excellent and the service is great. Everything about this hotel says hip from the bar and restaurant downstairs to the deck upstairs with water feature and firepit. The room was stylish, well stocked mini bar (that we didn't use, but it was cool to see it stocked with premium liquor), LCD TV, robes in the stylish bathroom, and pillowtop bed. Go to the Kona Cafe for breakfast. You'll wait in line for 20 mins but it's classic. Tower 23 was very relaxing and the view of the pier was fantastic.

We stayed 1 night. The room was clean, but the toilet stopped up in the morning. There was inadequate light for my wife's makeup. The fan in the bathroom did not work well enough to clear the steam out of the room and the room air conditioning would not come on. the restaurant at the hotel was wonderful, and the beach location, once you got to the hotel, […] was great. The location is great, but the cost of one night here is what I paid for two nights at a hotel that was just as nice in the gas lamp district downtown.

Location,location,location! This hotel was a wonderful weekend getaway for my husband and I. The tower deck was amazing with ocean front views and great service! We didn't want to leave, will recommend to all of our friends.

Nice hotel. Great location. My only complaint was that the room was over the bar and was noisy at night (until 2:00 a.m.). However, beautiful ocean views made up for the aggravation.

Hotel 23 is the best hotel on Pacific beach! rooms are clean, beds are nice and comfy.. location and view is awesome! parking is not free its $20 per day.. but the hotel was worth the money!

This Hotel was awesome, for starters. Well worth the extra money. I Did howerver recieve a 100$ charge on my card because of "smoking" which we did outside on the patio where there was an ash tray provided. Other than that single complaint I can't say anything bad about T23. I will say this TRY THE TRUFFLE FRIES downstairs, amazing for only 6$ - literaly […] the best fried I've had in my entire life. The hotel is crisp and California Cool. he beds are immensely comfortable. However, it is the (young) staff that works hard to make our stay wonderful. Our room was at the Terrace with a partial ocean view. We had room service deliver us breakfast and a few dinners there. It was just beautiful and relaxing. The food was as better than any we found […] in San Diego. Downside: This is California. This is the beach. Some of the guests can get a little noisy on the terrace at night. Tower23 was beautiful and we will be staying there again. We ate breakfast out on the main balcony, in lounge chairs, over-looking the ocean. Talk about a wonderful relaxing experience.Very much recommended!

We had a fantastic stay here. The room was fantastic with a balcony overlloking the ocean. Great spot for breakfast whilst people spotting. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Oh and tuesday night is half price wine at the restaurant :)

Das Hotel Tower23 ist modern und behaglich zugleich, der Service auf höchstem Niveau. Dies alles rechtfertigt den hohen Preis. Man sollte darauf achten, kein Zimmer mit Fenster/Terrasse zu haben, das an das sogenannte Towerdeck, d.h. das Sonnendach, des Hotels anschließt.

Dette hotellet har en meget god beliggenhet rett på stranden. Hotellet fremstår som nesten nytt og har egen parkeringsgarasje. Service, rengjøring og generellt tilbud i området gjør dette til et meget godt utgangspunkt for deg som ønsker nærhet til San Diego samtidig som du ønsker litt tid på stranden...

Fantastastisk hotell i nydelige omgivelser. Definitivt stedet å bo i området Pacific Beach/ La Jolla. Meget god service og veldig bra restaurant/ bar.

Very beautiful design and fantastic view from beachfront rooms. Good restaurant and bar, perhaps a bit loud though. Surroundings were a disappointment as there are mostly backpackers and surfers moving around who have a different needs and budget than at least we have, and probably also vs the targeted guests desires. Grymt hotell. Hade rummet med havsutsikt. Havet utanför fönstret, mysig restaurang och bra soldäck. Bra läge om man gillar sol och bad. Nära till övriga orter i San Diego.Minus - kostade pengar för gym, då det inte fanns något i huset utan 5 min bort. Annars allt bra!

This hotes is amazing, with a good location, a gorgeous view and an excelent staff.
