Très grande chambre pour un prix très intéressant. L'hôtel a un accès direct sur la plage. Un peu vieillot mais l'ensemble de la ville est assez kitsch et l'atmosphère est celle des années 70.

Situation
Sur la plage de Myrtle Beach, l'établissement Driftwood Lodge se trouve tout près des sites suivants : SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach et Mont Atlanticus. Les sites The Children's Museum of South Carolina et MagiQuest se trouvent également à proximité de cet hôtel.

The hotel description on Hotels.com was NOTHING like what it really was. The stairs are rusting away and you can see holes in them. The room was filthy and the carpet needed to be changed about 20 years ago. The only thing that felt some what clean was the bathroom. I will never stay there again. This is the 2nd hotel we stayed at through hotels.com […] and both were misleading on the quality of the hotel and room. Lisez la suite
"roaches were staring at me while taking a shower"
I would not recommend this place because of the roaches in the bathroom and the toilet that overflowed. My boyfriend was stuck on top of the bath tub until we could get some body to carry him out of the bath because toilet water had flooded the bathroom floor and some of the carpeting in the hallway of the room. The location was right on the beach but […] between the roaches, the overflowed toilet, and being able to hear all the neighbors from each side of our room, I was glad to leave. The price was reasonable , the parking was great but I would recommend finding another hotel on that same strip around that same price and go there. "HOTEL WAS RUN DOWN BUT LOCATION IS GREAT"
If you are looking for a very cheap hotel without any frills, then this is the place. This hotel room was very old and run down inside. The bath tub had cigarette burns in it, the door to the balcony was rusted. I got stuck outside on the balcony twice. My family member had to help me open the sliding glass door to the room as it was rusty and the door […] did not slide at all. The room in general had a very fowl odor. Upon check-in, the desk personnel was in the restroom and I had to wait for them. I did stay on the oceanfront which had a very nice view, however. Lisez la suite
"Driftwood Oceanfront"
Cute little hotel, very nicely maintained. RIGHT on the beach, which is exactly what we wanted for moonlit strolls late at night and super easy perfect beach access. A short drive to the main attractions and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. A GREAT bargain and just right for a quick weekend get away.
"Bad up keep of property"
More like an extended stay motel. A lot monthly guest. Guest hanging out drinking and smoking on the balcony. Not good environment if you have children.

"Good for the money"
The location and the front desk staff were so awesome for the price i paid for the hotel. I liked how the parking lot was right across the street from the hotel. And the parking was free! However, the water in the bathroom was way too hot. I could never get it warm or cold when washing my hands or taking a shower. And i got a room on the 1st floor overlooking […] the pool, but i couldn't sit and see the ocean because the pool's wall was blocking my view. Overall, I enjoyed everything else. Lisez la suite
"Great location"
For the price, Driftwood was a nice location close to the pier and boardwalk strip. Nice service help. Would go back again.
