A basic hostel/hotel. Clean. Breakfast good value at 4.5 Euro. Good showers but take your own towels as the "hire" towels are small/thin. Walls are thin as well. Great place to stay for the young traveller. Continuous influx of young people make for an interesting stay. Breakfast in the morning is brilliant, and the service at the front desk is exceptional - especially considering how busy it is. The young ladies are always helpful and pleasant. Good value for money, clean and convenient. Woman on reception very rude.

Far from the city center, about 40 minutes walking. The check in is a 3 pm, no exceptions, no a minute earlier!!very inconvinient. This "hotel" and hostel, more hostel than hotel is good if you are in your 20's and dont want to spend a lot of money! watch out for your values too!!i would not recomend this hotel!!!

The only similarities this hostel and a hotel have is that there are beds and showers. It is a communal type accommodation with bunk beds and towel rentals. The cleaning staff will barge in with one knock. They will not wait for you to vacate the room and will clean around your things. Towel rentals are expensive and the breakfast is not worth the price. This was right near a trolley stop and two Augustiner biergartens. Met others from the hotel. Lots of fun.

Not too far from the main train station and the Hostel has everything for every sort of traveler, be it the family or students looking to party. Across the street is a traditional beer hall and the strassenbahn goes almost directly to the hostel. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a inexpensive place to stay in Munich.

Although the room was basic it was clean & warm +the shower was powerful enough to wake you up after a late night. The staff were polite & helpful & spoke very good english. Located just across the road from a beer hall & about 10mins walk from central stn &15/20 mins from marianplatz. Strongly reccomend.

We stayed at the MEININGER Hotel.Hostel as a family of 3 with our 18 yr old son. Location, atmosphere and rooms were fantastic for a hostel. Although a big hostel, rules were clearly set and abided by, by younger guests. Facilities super with a great internet service. Would thoroughly recommend.

This hotel was in a great location when it comes to Oktoberfest. It was within walking distance to all the action. Plus it was close to the train to get to downtown Munich as well. Unfortunately, I think the cost is really high for a hostel. The staff was friendly, but a little ditzy. They actually gave my room to someone else while I was in it..that was fun. Ummm..its great for meeting people! Great for finding tours and such. ミュンヘン中央駅よりは、中央駅からSバーンで1駅行ったハッカーブリュケ駅からの方が近いですが、中央駅まで15分～20分ほどなので電車移動の前や後にちょっとした散歩をして…という方にはちょうどいい距離かと。 チェックイン時に困惑するかもしれません。なぜなら、ホテルのすぐ隣(建物としては繋がっている)で、ホテルが一緒に経営しているバー(カフェ)があるからです。ですが、入って見える位置にあるカウンターのスタッフさんに「チェックインお願いします」と言えば、ホテルの客であることはすぐにわかってくれます。 部屋に関しては、日本人から見れば、ちょっと「ちゃんと清掃してくれたのかな？」と思う感じもありましたが(床とかソファとか)、まぁそこは海外ですから、靴を履いたままソファなどで過ごすお客さんの方が多いでし […] ょうし仕方ないとも思います。 棚は設置されていましたが、ハンガーなどをかけられるようなスペースはあまりありませんでした。2つ3つハンガーはありましたが。なのでハンガーを持参しても置き場所に困ります(笑)。 スタッフさんは自分が対応できる言語を名札に記していました。愛想のいい方がほとんどでしたが、ホテルカウンターはホテルと一緒に経営しているバー(カフェ)の接客応対も同時に行っていたので、多忙な様子で、こちらから声をかけようとしないといつまでも待ちぼうけになる場合があります。手が空いたかなと思う瞬間に、まずは挨拶をして対応してくれそうか確認してみましょう。ちなみに、2人スタッフがいてもホテル関係を接客するスタッフは片方に決まっていそうな雰囲気だったので、勇気を出して話しかけても「もう一人の方に」とリアクションされることも多々ありました。 寝泊まりするだけ、で、物怖じせずにスタッフさんに声をかけられる方は特別ストレスなく過ごせるでしょう。ただ、複数で一室に泊まれるホテルの部屋の構造上、若者の笑い声などが聞こえるのは当たり前な感じです。でも、日本の修学旅行生などと一緒だと思えば気になりません。 Lisez la suite

Отель хороший. Единственный недочет лишь в том, что это хостел, о чем написано при входе в него. Спасает отель персонал. Распологается напротив пивного завода. Вечерами жутковато гулять.

buen hotel y buena relacion valor-precio a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad. lo malo no hay comercios alrededor, lo bueno es el tamaño de la habitacion

E' un albergo posizionato in zona abbastanza centrale, molto vicino alla zona dell'oktoberfest, ma non vicinissimo al centro storico (a piedi ci vogliono circa 20 minuti, altrimenti c'è la metro). La struttura è molto pulita e organizzata, ed è pensata principalmente per giovani e famiglie in vacanza. Quindi poco lusso e molta concretezza. La stanza […] era spaziosa, la colazione buona e le persone alla reception molto cortesi. L'unico inconveniente è probabilmente il garage interno piccolo, non sono riuscito a trovare posto per la macchina ed ho dovuto lasciarla in strada. In ogni caso il posto è molto tranquillo e non ci sono stati problemi. Un'ultima cosa, proprio di fronte all'albergo c'è la birreria (e la fabbrica) dell'Augustiner, e secondo me una cena lì è obbligatoria... Lisez la suite

We spent a night in hotel Meininger in Munich and we don't have anything to complain! The staff was friendly and our room was nice and tidy - just perfect for one night! Also the price was ok. Only the location was a little bit more far away from the railway station than we thought but it was our fault that we didn't check it correctly.
