"Very Bad!"
Worst stay ever. The bed was very not comfortable. Too bad as the location was great.
"cosmo hong kong"
We will visit hong kong again, We will use the cosmo again as its location is good, and the hotel staff througout were very polite and keen to be helpful,The room rates are spot on with all budgets, and the breakfast service very good with a varied selection of food to suit anyone.
"The Cosmo never disappoints!"
This trip was our 5th time staying at the Cosmo and it never disappoints us. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is impeccable, and the location is right in the middle of all of the action. The free shuttle bus that they provide makes it easy to get to all of the major destinations or MTR stations. We highly recommend this hotel and we […] will definitely be back for stay number 6 this summer. Lisez la suite
"Solid"
Good hotel, nothing over the top but a little confusing. it's boutiquish in appearance but there isn't anything particularly NICE about it. The 5th floor patio + free coffee is sweet (and tasty) but the charge per use wifi is a total bummer. I think something as small as wifi should be covered within the cost. The bed was very stiff, but the pillows/duvet […] were extremely soft. If you are used to stiff beds (i think it's a chinese thing) than it's great. I felt like it was an oddly stripped down version of the nicer COSMOPOLITAN down the street. They use the same shuttle bus service, but it just felt like the low rent option. Tiny room, but I suppose that's to be expected in a big city. Previous to Hong Kong I was in a hotel in mainland china and for the same price you get a 5 star hotel, with super lux accommodations. Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong houses only 142 rooms and all rooms are color coded to give individuality and chic stylish décor. Free WiFi is freely accessible in all hotel areas including the lobby, Nooch Bar and 5/F Breeze. Free self-serviced coffee is provided in Breeze as well and it’s good to know you liked it. Our bed is from the worldly-renowned Simmons brand with a good support of the back. However, if a fluffier support is sought after, we can always provide a mattress topper which can be arranged by the housekeeping department. As for pillows, we have a pillow menu including a few different options such as foam pillow, buckwheat pillow, etc to accommodate personal preference. Cosmopolitan Hotel is our sister property offers a more contemporarily elegant experience. Regarding room size, the hotel features various options with a room size ranging up to 83 sq m which is spacious to fit in 6 guests at a time. In fact, like other hotels in Hong Kong, we provide room comfort together with customer-oriented service, for sure guests will find our price a very good value! Hope to see you again with us soon.

We were upgraded from superior to executive room, but then the room smelled bad especially the bathroom in which we complained and so they took care of it. Overall stay was good. My money was worth it. Close to subways like 10mins walk. Would stay here again.
Thank you for the review. We trust that the smell mentioned is due to the relatively high humidity and it can be easily rectified by turning on the air-conditioning. Our 24-hour guest services manager would be delighted to take care of any issues and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Location-wise, we are amid Causeway Bay and Wan Chai so a perfect choice for business and leisure travelers. For guest’s convenience, there is a daily free shuttle running to various landmarks in Causeway Bay (Times Square & Causeway Bay subway station), Wan Chai (Convention Centre), Central (IFC Mall), etc. Thank you again and hope to have you back again!

The room is small and there is no view at all unless you get upgrade. The location isn't that convenient to anythings, such as local restaurant, subway or store. The most important thing is the hotel doesn't fit fire safety requirement. All the emergency exit are filled with boxes of hotel supply in each floor. If there is a fire, I won't know how people […] can pass through all the obstacle during panic situation. I won't recommend this hotel unless they remove all the obstacle from the emergency exit. "Small, clean and convenient"
I have no major problems with this hotel and would likely stay here again. It's about 10 minutes walk via subway to Causeway Bay MTR, shopping malls and restaurants. Free wi-fi in the lobby. The room we stayed in was reasonably clean, although it was very small for two people and luggage (probably a reasonable size for Hong Kong). It's definitely worth […] considering spending extra money to upgrade to a larger room. Lisez la suite
"Average hotel with great shuttle bus service"
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel, on our way home from a vacation in Europe. To get to the hotel, you can either use taxi or take the airport express train from the airport (Airport Express Line (AEL) counter at Arrival Hall A or Arrival Hall B) to Hong Kong station (approximately 30 minutes travelling time with departures every eight minutes - HK$100 […] / US$13 net per person). The complimentary hotel shuttle bus is available from Hong Kong Station to the hotel (approximately 20 minutes' drive, although more like 40 minutes in peak traffic). The shuttle bus will drop you off at the Cosmopolitan Hotel which is next door to Cosmo. Staff are very helpful and there will be someone to help you with the luggage if you find it difficult to roll it about 30 metres on a slight uphill. Cosmo lobby is fairly small and can get busy as there is free wi-fi. On arrival we were told that have been upgraded to an apartment. Indeed, there were two rooms - the bedroom and a small room with a writing desk, both looking dated. The bedroom was quite small and there was little if any room to move around. The room amenities were basic. We wanted to make coffee, but upon tasting it (not sure if it was the milk or the coffee itself) we disposed of it - have never tasted anything like it before:) There was a bit of a smell in the room and the cleanliness/maintenance standard wasn't the best. The hotel's immediate neighbourhood is not something to write home about. Behind the hotel is a cemetery, although the windows facing it are covered with opaque film, so you really can't see it. We were not bothered by the cemetery, but some people may be, so I'm mentioning it. The main attraction is the close proximity to the hustle and bustle of Times Square. The shopping (largely) upmarket is great if that's what interests you. There are numerous eateries at or near Times Square, so you'll find a wide selection of food and as wide a range of prices. For the more adventurous, a fresh food market is just o Lisez la suite
We are happy you love our free shuttle bus service! Easy access is available to Cosmo either from the airport direct or from Hong Kong station (if you choose to ride on an express train from the airport). Although the shuttle bus drops off at our sister Cosmopolitan Hotel next door, our Concierge staff take every pride to assist with the luggage. Free WiFi is available in the all public areas including the hotel lobby, Nooch Bar and Breeze on 5/F so there might be guests gathering around the area enjoying the free surfing. In terms of rooms, we have a whole series of 7 different types for selection and our reservations agent will be happy to assist with the right choice. If there is any issues for example if more amenities or extra cleaning service is needed, our housekeeping team will be at your call. As a matter of fact, most of our rooms are facing the Causeway Bay city view and we are only an 8-min walk to the centre of it. "Overpriced for size even for HK"
Save yourself, don't book! For the same price you can find much better in HK. Tiny room. I booked "studio" which was a joke as they inserted a wall between the bed and a nook for the higher price. Space unusable and "sofa" was a seat for a toy house. Hotel is in the only 10 blocks of HK where there is no coffee shop, no 7-11 store, in short, nothing […] near by. You need a shuttle to go everywhere. Every half hour and crowded. If priced at half, then worth it. But it's 5-star price for 1-star convenience. Service is good, but cannot compensate for the overprice. Lisez la suite

Location-wise, we are just a few min’s walk to Wan Chai and Causeway Bay and the hotel provides daily free of charge shuttle service to up to 16 destinations including Times Square in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Admiralty etc. Plenty of coffee shops, convenience stores as well as Hong Kong style tea house are within reach in 5-8 minutes’ walk to Wan Chai or Causeway Bay. I had read several reviews before hand and a few were not too complimentary; some were. We decided to take a punt and booked the hotel. Like most H./Kong rooms they are quite small. Ours was clean and serviced each day. TV was fine for night time viewing, with old movies but after a long day it didn't matter. We had breakfast each day and they were […] ok. Two eggs per person and toast did me fine. Tea and coffee and juice were good. Also had other things on offer to cater for all types, so it was worth the few extra dollars. It is a good ten minute walk to Causeway Bay station, ok in the morning but a bit tiring at night. We did grab a tram often and they're really cheap. Octopus cards are great and you have to get one. As per usual mini bar prices are up, but a few trips to a 7 eleven fixes that. I would recommend a stay here for the budget conscious as it was clean and affordable. I would probably stay near central if I had the chance as it's closer to MTR . The front desk was helpful and will give advice on buses to catch etc so make sure you ask as we tried to do it alone and got lost often. Don't go to Maccau on a Friday as we had a two hour wait at immigration. Try Disneyland before Ocean world as we found the latter a bit dated, especially if you've been to Sea World Gold Coast. Great Panda exhibit though. Lisez la suite

"Cosmo hotel in Hong Kong"
I was extremely disappointed by this hotel. The hotel just looked cheap...i.e furnishings and general look. We checked into a standard room and the room was so small we barely had anywhere to put our 2 suitcases, we were literally climbing over the top of one another to move around. The window in the rooms are also frosted so you can't see out, i actually […] felt like we were in a coffin! The room was in very poor condition and the shower didn't work properly and generally it smelt damp. We did complain and after a little debating the Manager upgraded us to a family room. This room was in better condition and because we had a little bit more room, was definately more comfortable for us. I would hate to think how a "family" would cope in this room though. The location of the hotel is not great, there were no convenience shops nearby and we had to get taxi's everywhere. If you are going to Happy Valley Racecourse though, then it is right next door! There was free internet in the hotel lobby and this was very good. Unfortunately we could not visit Breeze, which is the outdoor area of the hotel as they were doing maintenance work whilst we were there. Would i recommend this hotel to anyone...definately not!! Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong has been awarded as a most comfortable hotel in Hong Kong for 2 consecutive years by the travel bible Michelin Guide so our comfort is actually well-recognized and guaranteed. Room size ranges from 15 to 83 sq. m. accommodating up to 6 guests in a two-bedroom suite! The frosting of window is a design aim at providing more privacy for guests in-room. About our location, we are just an 8-min walk from the busy Causeway Bay and a few convenience stores are in reach within 5-8 min walk down the street and our Concierge staff can help anytime to flag down a taxi. The room itself is utilitarian […] and clean and although there is no full length wardrobe, has everything that a visitor would need. "Great Value, Good Stay"
My wife and I stated in the Cosmo for a six day holiday trip to Hong Kong. While there is nothing directly near the hotel, it is a short walk or a cheap cab ride to Times Square where you can shop or take the MTR to other locations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Raymond especially made our stay special. They were ready to help no […] matter the request. The hotel room itself was small, but the website advertises that it isn't a huge room. We stayed in an Executive room and it was plenty comfortable for our six day trip. The rooms were modern and had nice touches like a quality desk and a shower with three different style shower heads with the option to select which you preferred. For the price, the CosMo cannot be beat. Not only would I suggest it to everyone, but I will likely be staying there again. Lisez la suite

Comfortable room size with satisfactory facilities for a hotel of similar rating. Accessibility is good as tram line is about 50m away from the hotel which provides access to all places of interest.
Thank you for your fair comments on Cosmo Hotel. In fact, transportation accessibility is a key advantage of Cosmo has we’re located at the junction of the vibrant Causeway Bay shopping area and the busy Wan Chai commercial district, with the nearest metro station only an 8-min walk from the hotel. As an additional service, we run 5 shuttle bus routes to 15 destinations covering all major touristy and business landmarks on the Hong Kong island and the service is completely free. 1. The hotel is far away from the nearest mtr- causeway bay. If you are travelling with old parents, highly not recommended. 2. Next is the room. We had booked the twin side bed room and it's extremely small. Just imagine, after your big lugguage is put lying on top of a rack , you need to crawl on the bed to get to the toilet. Cosmo had made use of every single space in the room which become very cramped. Hence, staying there for 5 nights was too much. 4.
