Hôtel très pratique en cas de longue correspondance car il y a un service gratuit de navette avec l'aéroport . Demander au centre d'infos à l'aéroport de la commander pour vous en arrivant à charlotte. Hôtel propre et lit confortable. Pas de restaurant autour sauf un dinner à gaufres. Le petit-déjeuné est inclus. Hotel bon marché et parfait pour se reposer entre deux vols et se remettre du décalage horaire.

Situation
A Charlotte, l'établissement The Dunhill Hotel se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Time Warner Cable Arena et Stade Bank of America. Les sites Discovery Place et Charlotte Convention Center se trouvent également à proximité.

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful and the location is perfect if you want to see the city sights. I would definitely stay there Again
"First visit, but not the last"
The Dunhill is in a perfect location for an evening in Uptown Charlotte. We loved the location, ambience, and staff. Everything was meticulous. We actually live in Charlotte, but will use the Dunhill over and over for parental mini-vacations. Kudos!
Service was great- Staff top notch. Room was great-love classic old hotels. Bar and Restaurant was really good. Bed was totally worn out. Heating/ air system was useless- room was hot and stuffy and would not cool down. TV only worked after 1/2 hour of being on!
"Dunhill for the game!"
We chose Dunhill for the Belk Bowl Game on Dec. 27, 2011, simply because it was close enough to walk to the game. Fortunately, we chose wisely! The hotel was very, very nice, and the people were more than accommodating. Great boutique hotel in a great section of Charlotte with excellent customer service.

The service was amazing at the hotel itself as well as the Harvest Moon Grille. The entire staff was fantastic as was the food at HM Grille! We'll definitely return as guests to both!
My wife and I hit the Dunhill for a one nite getaway. The staff was very nice, and the room well done. It was small so I dont know if I would stay there for a week in that particular room, but great for one nite. local food restaurant was nice for breakfast. Solid old school botique hotel.

"Dunhill Uptown - Outstanding!"
Went up to Charlotte for a one night stay so we could see a concert at the McGlohon Theater. I'm pretty sure I could throw a rock and hit the theater, we were that close. The staff was superb - each and every one. Parking was a breeze. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. This was the perfect stay.

The Dunhill Hotel was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay on a very interesting street in Charlotte. It is surrounded by museums, restaurants, theaters, and Charlotte's unique skyscrapers and their plazas. The shower in our […] room drained a bit slowly, but when we told the hostess as we were checking out, she said she'd get someone on it right away. Another interesting characteristic about the historic hotel is the difference in room types. Though the building is relatively small, its comfortably-large rooms are organized so that many rooms of different shapes exist all around the floor. Ours was a corner room with views onto Tryon st and the side street past the hotel. The windows opened, allowing me to get some nice photos of the city-scape from our room. "Fabulous Dunhill in Downtown Charlotte!"
This place was fabulous! We had a conference at the Charlotte Convention Center and all the conference hotels were sold out. So I stayed at the Dunhill. The accommodations were nicer than the conference hotels by the Convention Center and the staff were absolutely fabulous! Great location! I walked back-and-forth to the CC but the Dunhill also provides […] a shuttle. I will definitely stay here any other time I need to be in Downtown Charlotte! "Great for weekend getaway!!"
We stayed at The Dunhill on Sept. 17th and 18th to experience the city of Charlotte and attend a few concerts. The location was the best. We walked everywhere!! We where close to museums, Imax theatre, shopping, parks,the historic district and many great restaurants. The room was a little small but well furnished, clean and comfortable. "The Dunhill Hotel, Charlotte NC - GREAT stay"
Recently, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Dunhill Hotel in Charlotte, NC. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location in downtown Charlotte, and it looked very nice. We were not disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful, and the location was perfect. We had a slight problem with […] our room just after we checked in, and the manager went above and beyond to see that we were happy. my other half and i stayed here, along with 3 friends (in another room, of course). we were in charlotte for a quick weekend trip, and loved the dunhill. it had the same convenience of the rest of the downtown/uptown hotels in the area, but was small enough to give personalized service. everyone we came into contact with was smiling, accomodating and […] friendly. the rooms had everything you needed, and with the blazing summer heat outside, the rooms were deliciously cool, even when we first arrived. (some places knock down the AC and let you turn it up when you get into your room.) it's little details like that which make the difference! considering it's at the same price point as the marriott or the holiday inn, the choice is easy. my friend, fiance and i had such a good time, our next quick-trip to charlotte will probably include the dunhill again. Great Hotel within walking distance to all downtown banks, restaurants, entertainment, etc. Front desk clerk Beau was very helpful. Parking valet and garage very convenient to hotel Would highly recommend. Very comfortable room and great bed. Check out Epicenter and Studio.
"Great Hotel, Great City"
I had a short, but wonderful stay at the Dunhill. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the Epicentre (home of several bars/restaurants, bowling alley, movie theatre, shops) and several museums. Also nearby is Mert's, a tasty soul food dive, with home-made mac-n-cheese, fried chicken, smothered pork chops, […] home-made desserts...yum. It was neat to see they preserved the quaintness of the historic Dunhill Hotel amidst the newer construction in Upton. The room was more spacious than I anticipated, and had a huge flat-screen TV. Built in 1929, this is a great hotel to stay at for any business or personal trip to Charlotte. Besides the history, elegant decor, and the excellent restaurant, I would reccomend this hotel simply because of the personal attention to detail and comprehensive services provided by the staff on a moment's notice.

"Needs Improvement"
Location is great but as soon as we drove up for valet service we sat there and sat there. The young man was cleaning some equipment and finally we had to go over and get him to come help us. Check in went fine and the room was very nice. Quite large with a nice size bathroom. We had a corner room with lots of windows so had a good view but it did make […] it quite noisy with traffic at night. It seems that it is very popular to cruz up and down Tryon Street on weekends until the wee hours at night. We staid for two nights and the second night did not have our rooms cleaned at all. Came back to our room at 5:00pm to change for dinner and it was dirty. Called for clean towels and reported it. Got a "I am very sorry". Came back at midnight and it was still dirty. Next day when again reported all we got was a very sincere"I am so sorry". Needless to say we were not very happy about the whole thing. It made the stay seem cheap and like oh well... We do not plan to stay again but I don't think others will have this problem. Lisez la suite
