Hotel is walking distance to Legoland and restaurant. This is absolutely perfect for a stay a legoland. Hotel is a bit old which was perfect for us Europeans. Staff was extremely friendly. Location is safe and there are plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was adequate. Room was very clean.

Hôtel pas loin des parcs d'attraction ,des restaurants,et de la ville,très bien entretenue très calme et spacieux avec aussi une belle piscine. je le conseille et j'y retournerai.

"Super pour les parcs"
Résider dans un hôtel du parc est super pour profiter de Walt Disney World. L'environnement nous met directement dans l'ambiance. Les chambres premiers prix sont bien pour ce qu'on en fait et le temps qu'on y passe. Le service de navette est très bien, sauf peut être entre les parcs et dowtown où l'on est obligé de retourner dans un hôtel resort. Petit […] hic, mais c'est disney : le prix des repas. Certains plats sont copieux pour le prix, d'autre moins. N'hésitez pas à varier pour comparer. Mais on est obligé de consommer dans un resto Disney, car il n'y a rien autour, à part un Mc donal, mais un peu éloigné. The shuttle service to and from the airport and to Disney parks was great, very convenient. Very good place for families, but if you are not on a family vacation with children I would recommend staying somewhere like the Coronado Springs Resort, as the Allstar Resort is very catered to children. The cafeteria food is quite good and has a pretty good variety of food, although you will need to go elsewhere if you are looking for a nice restaurant with table service. "Disney stay"
The shower was not clean upon arrival. I did clean it and then noticed it was not cleaned the second day, so I complained and had a spotless room for one day. Then, same old thing. I was not impressed at all with the concierge services either. We wanted some guidance on things to do and they just were not helpful. Plan in advance and do not count on […] them to be helpful (they pretty much are just there to take your money for the things you have planned to do). I do have to say that management seemed to care about my issues, but as I said, nothing really changed for more than a day. This could be a great place, yes, considered a value resort, but it was still 186 a night and that is not "cheap," so it should be clean and the staff should be more attentive to the customers. very fun stay. very close to all Disney parks and downtown Disney as well. Lots of stuff to explore and check out on the Hotel grounds. we stayed in the Dalmatians building, were there are Two HUGE statues of Purdy and Pongo from 101 Dalmatians. Lots of great picture opportunities. There are also two pools and the dining area stays open late, the hotel […] info says they close at midnight, but we went down there later than midnight a few times and they were still open. "Perfect resort for a Disney vacation"
I stayed for 3 nights along with my wife and 4 year old son, we thorougly enjoyed the stay. Disney resorts provide complimentary shuttle(magical express) from Orlando airport to the resort which is nice, well the catch is when you book through Hotels.com, you have to call Disney magical express separately and confirm it(they ask for the reservation […] number and you may not have it, since you only have the Hotels.com confirmation number, you have to call Hotels.com customer service and get the reservation number). Apart from this minor inconvenience, the stay as such was great. There is a food court in the resort, 2 swimming pools and shuttles to disney parks. For the price and location, along with the bus service, we were happy. It has been updated since our last visit and was much nicer. We did have to walk to buy a coffee in the morning but otherwise the kids loved the pool area and the Disney experience . The Disney All-Star Movies Resort was perfect for our two day stay! Check-in was a breeze since I had done online check-in, and my 2 year old was thrilled with the balloon she received and with the cast members calling her princess! Our room and grounds were very clean, and our room was plenty big for our family of 3. The room comes standard with a […] mini fridge and iron that hotels.com said was on-request. We took our own milk, drinks, and cereal to cut down on breakfast costs. We could hear some noise from other rooms like showers and toilets flushing, but it wasn't overly annoying. We didn't eat at the food court, so I can't comment on the food, but it was a big area. The grounds were very nice and the character statues were fun for my daughter. The pool areas were nice also. "Inefficent Food Services"
Check in was pleasant. Staff seemed a little confused since he had only been there one month. Food service at hotel and around ESPN was inefficient and staff was rude. They would cut in between people waiting in line without a simple 'excuse me' or any other greeting. The food truck at ESPN were inefficient as well. All food experiences were unprofessional, […] and totally inefficient. We stood in line for 30 minutes at the ice cream with only 2 people in front of us. Set-up of food areas could be corrected to minimize wait times and speed up the order process. Example: For a milkshake, the staff gets a scoop, walks to ice cream cooler, then goes to back of area for fridge to retrieve milk, then to opposite side of work area to get a metal cup, then around to other side of area for the mixer. After mixing is complete they walk to other side to get customer cup, and place lid and straw in it. Too much time walking around and not getting anything accomplished. Meanwhile the customer waits and waits and waits. Food trucks at ESPN had a limited number of menu options and staff seemed surprised when you ordered one of the them. Orders got mixed up in ESPN for the pic up window. Staff walking back and forth, to and from area behind closed door with one order while 6 people wait. Every food venue I visited could be improved by better restaurant management. Same thing goes on in each of the ALL-STAR hotels on Disney. Yikes! There was no way to escape it while there. We knew this was Disney's "budget" tier of hotels. Rooms are very small. Staff was pleasent and willing to help. Disappointed that the in-room refrigerator was grimy. Towels are remincent of High School gym towels, small and thin. The size of the complex makes it confusing to find your way. Some of the rooms are in the center of the complex making it […] a bit of a treck from the parking lots. Food at the food court was better than expected, fresh and a good selection, overpriced, but it is Disney so that was expected. I don't believe it was a good value for the $ paid. One has to keep in mind that everyone will have a different experience when staying at any resort. I stayed at the All-Star Movies Resort for 9 Days and 8 Nights. I have gone to Orlando many times, but this was the first time I was going to travel with a friend and my sister (usually the whole family goes), I decided to go with a Disney "value" resort, […] since we wanted to stay in a good hotel, without having to pay too much, since most of the day we would be spending it in the theme parks, it didn't really matter to us. PROS: -Not very expensive. -Good location (it's closest to the Animal Kingdom). -Free shuttle from the Airport to the Resort, and vice versa. -Free transportation to the 4 theme parks, the 2 water parks, and downtown Disney. -Good rooms (more comfortable than expected). -The Disney resort refillable mug (Only works at the HOTEL, not in the theme parks. Costs about $15.49, as of January 2013.) -With certain Airlines, you can Check-in with the airline at the resort, and they'll even check-in your luggage. CONS: -Staff (mostly) not very friendly, most people seemed to be in a bad mood, but it wasn't the case a 100% of the time, but most were a bit rude. -Although the "bus" between the parks isn't shared with the other All-star resorts, they do share the Downtown Disney bus, and at night, to return to the hotel from the downtown disney area it might get extremely full.
