Agréable moment pas de désagréments majeurs , bien que nous n'y ayons passés que deux nuits séparés , c'était correct idéal pour les gens qui doivent faire une escale d'une nuit s'ils doivent partir en croisière !

Hôtel correct et bien situé sur Collins avenue. Eviter la chambre donnant sur la rue : simple vitrage et environnement très bruyant réduisent fortement le confort de la nuit.

"mauvais rapport qualité/prix"
Hôtel bien situé mais mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Pas de rangements dans la chambre (suite standard). Vue sur le mur d'en face (moins de 4 mètres). Ménage très approximatif et accueil très froid à la réception. Aucune indication sur le fonctionnement de l'hôtel (piscine, petits-déjeuners) et caution de 50 dollars par jour ! (pré-autorisation sur carte […] de crédit sans avertir le client!) Connexion internet déplorable (débit insuffisant et nombreuses coupures) malgré des frais obligatoires de 12,5 dollars par jour en partie pour ce service. Le bruit extérieur est énormément présent, les chambres ne sont pas aérées, la clim est mise a fond vous avez l'impression d'arriver dans un frigo. L'aspirateur n'est pas tout le temps passé. Situation de l'hôtel super. Personnel sympa même pour moi qui ne parle pas très bien l'anglais. Le directeur est très gentil, il m'a entre autre conseillé un super restaurant (très bon rapport qualité prix). Seul le ménage pourrait être un peu mieux fait, autrement il n'y a rien à dire. "Worth the money"
The hotel is smack dab in the middle of all the madness of Ocean Drive but they still manage to deliver good service. All the front desk people were very friendly and someone was always there to help. The room was very modern, clean, and accommodating. The bed was big and comfortable as well. All and all,Congress Hotel pretty much offerred everything […] they advertised on the website. The only thing that you have to worry about is parking. This hotel does not have its own lot. There are 2 pay lots within blocks of hotel. They range from a few bucks to like $20 bucks a day I believe. Also you have the option to do metered parking which is more convenient but more expensive. Nice & pleasant staff. Room was less nice. No dresser!!! Bed was comfortable. and despite having a room fronting Ocean Dr., the noise was not a significant factor. Shower was handheld and takes getting use to. Plastic couch for old/uncomfortable. TVs may have been 19". There was a nice kitchenette with full size frig & microwave. "THE BEST HOTEL I'VE STAYED AT SO FAR ON SOUTH BEAC"
I've been to South Beach and have stayed at the Park Central and now The Congress! This time I came with my girlfriend for a 3 night stay. The Congress is well worth the money!!! There are 4 buildings! When the bell boy took us to our room, the outside appearance of our building was not appealing but upon entering our room, we were astonished! SO BEAUTIFUL!! […] MODERN! PERFECT! We stayed in the Junior suite which had a kitchen(stove, fridge w/ freeze, pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc) a living room area, bathroom with a big tub and a plush bed! The room also had a balcony! The main building has a rooftop pool with a bar which we enjoyed very much! The location is PERFECT! Right in the middle of Ocean Dr!! I HIGHLY recommend staying here! "Chock Full of Hidden Costs"
Terrible front desk service (plan on waiting!) and lots of hidden fees you won't find out about until you get your credit card statement. Plan on paying for someone to take you outside of the hotel to find your room (just in case you venture out to find it yourself they have conveniently locked a gate with a key code that the front desk doesn't give […] you! And don't forget the resort fee of $12.50 per day per person! Parking is $35./per day. Quickly adds up to $100 extra per night. The hotel is in a fun and rowdy neighborhood and convenient to the beach, people watching, and sobe nightlife. We went with our kids (6 and 8) for two nights and had a good time. no problems with the hotel specifically. the staff were helpful, cheery. everything was clean and worked well. excellent pool deck with an amazing view. great location. right in the heart of it all. south beach is not an area for those seeking peace and quiet. it is in high gear all the time. the clubs pump it out till 2am at least. i would request […] a room at the back if noise is at all an issue. the room had a kitchen and we made breakfast and snacks in it. there is a publix grocery store and a whole foods nearby - 15min walk to 5th and alton. everything is safe and clean. i took my daughters - 20 and 16. they loved it all. the beach is right across the street. i would stay there again. beware of the resort fee. the hotels are taxed by the city for use of the beach. 12.50/person per day. the hotel will provide you with beach chairs and towels in lieu of this tax but only to a max of 2 per room - regardless of how many are in the room. i diplomatically complained about it and the manager politely removed one of the resort fees from my bill. i find that raising issues in a reasonable and adult manner (anywhere i go) often yield the best results. "Horrible!"
The hotel was so bad we left early. There are many fees besides $35 valet that took 20+ mins. and resort charge that are a surprise upon check-in. It costs $25 if you don't return all room keys and $100 if you check out early among other things. Hotel manager was arrogant and not helpful about our room even though I had requested quiet room on reservation. […] There was loud music from restaurant below, car horns & sirens until 2am. The next day we switched rooms and was quieter, but the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on - barely a sofa bed mattress. Couch was extremely uncomfortable too. You could feel bar supporting the thin cushion on both. The bathtub faucet had a major leak, you could see crumbs at the base of cabinets, something nasty was spilled on the floor and our room wasn't vacuumed on second day. The Congress was great! The room was perfect for my and my friends - it had a full kitchen which was really nice, the staff were super friendly and quick to respond to any requests. Funny how everyone points out the noise issue. Well, duh. The Congress Hotel is a decent spot. The rooms are big with a kitchen and dishwasher. I had some issues that I pointed out to the staff upon check-out and they were very cordial and apologetic. They waived my resort fee and took care of some honor bar stuff. My main complaint was a crumby fitted […] sheet on the thin mattress that would peel up at night. One morning I awoke with my face on raw mattress. Eeew. I think that Congress is trying to do better. Lots of restaurants in the area and right across from the beach on Ocean Blvd. Great walk (1 mile) to Lincoln Ave with shopping and really fantastic restaurants. Service was bad, the room I paid extra for wasn't available (I wasn't reimbursed though), the room I was put in was not clean, had no wash cloths, 1 towel, no minibar and smelled like mold! The key to my room wouldn't work and I had to continue to walk back and forth to get new ones and finally- when I called for valet to bring the car so we could leave- […] it took 30 minutes! PROS: Really nice beach hotel, with a great location - feet away from all the SoBe nightlife. Watch the sunrise from the beautiful rooftop pool, you will NOT be dissapointed! CONS: However, upon arrival we were surprised with whole range fees, for valet parking (only parking option), service fee (for the "complimentary" champagne at check-in), city […] fee, among others...Be prepared to spend twice as much as the booking price in extra fees if you chose this hotel. Overall the PROs outweigh the CONs of this hotel.
