Petit déjeuner très banal. Pas de apin, pas de fruit, Le buffet du samedi soir est limité, arrivés vers 20h, il n'y avait plus de dessert. rien pour remplacer, mais prix inchangé;

super rapport/qualité prix, de loin l'un des meilleurs que j'ai eu. Jolie piscine intérieure chauffée avec jacuzzi, chambre spacieuse et propre qui donne sur la piscine et non sur l'extérieur. La réceptionniste chaleureuse et attentionnée, toujours prête à aider et à rendre service. Petit déjeuner continental complet. Bons restaurants tout autours où l'on peut accéder à pied. Je vous le recommande vivement, vous ferez une très bonne affaire.

Très bien situé à l'entrée du Parc des Great Smoky Mountains. Les chambres donnant sur l'arrière sont au calme... Gatlinburg étant extrêmement touristique (beaucoup trop pour nous) et engorgé de voitures, de monde et d'attractions diverses. On peut se faire faire une omelette à son goût pour le petit déjeuner (ce qui n'est pas très courant et ma foi, fort agréable), et la piscine intérieure (que nous n'avons pas testée) est de belle proportion. Seuls bémols, le réceptionniste n'était pas super accueillant et n'a pas fait beaucoup d'efforts pour se faire comprendre de nous qui ne sommes pas d'ici et les places pour le petit déjeuner ne sont pas en nombre suffisant pour que l'on puisse tous s'asseoir au moment où tout le monde, justement, est prêt pour le prendre!

Emplacement magnifique, tout à fait solitaire dans la montagne. Nous avons eu une jolie chambre, peut-être un peu sombre, mais il faisait mauvais temps. Diner très bien, petit déjeuner médiocre.

"Heavenly Mountain Retreat"
We stayed 2 nights and loved it. The weather was a bit chilly which allowed us to enjoy a fire in the fireplace. The view of the trees and the deck w/sitting area was lovely. We were coming from the end of the Blue Ridge Pkwy and then toured the Smokey Mountains. I had read some of the reviews of this lodge which encouraged making a reservation on the […] second floor due to noise. We asked for the upstairs room and were pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the entire area. It was just what we needed after 10 days of driving and seeing the sites of Asheville. As we live in a warm weather climate the FP was a huge advantage. The reception, gathering room, and dining room were all excellent. We just had the continental breakfast and loved being served. Also ate dinner in the restaurant our second night and it was lovely & quiet w/exceptional service. Yes, the dinner is expensive but of value to us. We were able to just leave our lodge and in 1 minute walk to the dining rm. The room was immaculately clean and firewood set to start. Their bathrooms were remodeled and every attempt was made from our rooms to view the greenery and trees with total privacy. Couldn't imagine a nicer lodge to end our trip and start the long drive home. I would definitely recommend it. Lisez la suite

The lodge was a pleasant surprise. Rustic yet elegant. The scenery was beautiful, but close to the main drag. It could not have been a nicer experience.

Very nice hotel outside of Gatlinburg (10 min car drive). Ideal place to relax. If you are looking for a quiet place, in a log cabin type of atmosphere, surrounded by mountains, this is an excellent choice.
The room was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The view of the Smoky Mountains from our porch was amazing. We had this same view from the bed and from the jacuzzi tub. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. I have absolutely no complaints and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was well worth every penny!

"Great Weekend Getaway"
Other than the Breakfast service being slow, our stay was fantastic! Outdoor dining was awesome & room was better than expected. Will likely come back in the future.

Stayed there in October of 2011 for a mini honeymoon. It is a perfect place for a romantic getaway with all the amentities. Great views and very private/exclusive. Food was very good but appetizer portions were small for the price. Rooms were clean, good sized and very rustic. "Lodge at Buckberry Creek"
Living in the foothills of the Adirondacks we were so impressed with the Adirondack feel of the lodge. We needed some R&R and this was place for us. This would be the perfect setting for an intimate wedding or family reunion. We can't wait to go back!!!

Our recent stay at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek was O.K., and a nice place by Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge standards. However, we arrived with at least 3/4 full tank of gas and awoke the following AM to find that all our gasoline had been siphoned from our gas tank. When I reported this to the front desk, I was told that the same thing had happened to some […] of their own "on-site" vehicles. An unfortunate happening for us. Just make sure your gas caps lock! "Don't book on Sundays"
We got there on a Sunday. First, our room wasn't ready. Had to go back to the lodge to swap rooms. No big deal. Then, I wanted to make coffee. No coffee pot. No big deal. Then, we wanted to go eat at The Lodge, closed on Sundays......Ok, that's enough. Oh and no shuttle service...so...we had to drive back into town to eat. We have been burned several times in the past by going by a brochure or other advertisements. But The Lodge at Buckberry Creek far surpassed everything advertised. "Lodge at Buckberry Creek - just awesome!"
We were blown away by this place. The lodge is set up in the hills just outside of Gatlinburg. The room had a full kitchen and full bath with a whirlpool tub and walk-in shower, along with a double sink. There's a balcony with a view of the Smoky Mountains. And in the main building of the lodge you can get a very tasty meal either indoors or out on […] their balcony as you gaze towards the mountains. The highlight of our trip to Gatlinburg was seeing a bear early in the morning, as it sauntered up the mountain. This was nature at its best and we appreciated witnessing it. This lodge is very nice, but make sure you know the housekeeping policy at check-in. We learned too late that they do not change bed linens or clean the room unless requested to do so. The room was pretty noisy too. The continental breakfast could have offered more choice also. If you arrive after the first hour or so, they run out of items and do not […] replenish them. "Buckberry Creek is a great if the kids stay home"
Great retreat for long time married couples needing some time together without distractions. If you check in on a Sunday afternoon, you have the place to yourself until Wednesday-Thursday. Relaxing and quiet. Bring a book and leave the electronics at home.

The rooms were intentionally designed to be "old-style". I would prefer more modern fixtures, more lighting, and more comfortable deck chairs. Nevertheless, hotel was more than adequate with great views, nice continental breakfast, and friendly staff.

My wife, my 4-yr old son, and I stayed for just 1-night, but it was an absolute great time. The room was superb, the scenery was great, and we enjoyed the outside pavilion by the mountain stream. We definitely will be back.

It could be amazing if the customer service kicked it up and few notches. The continental breakfast should have had more fruit choices the kitchen staff should smile and be pleasant..not just keep there heads down. The fireplace in the kitchen dining room should have been lit, if only for atmosphere during meal time.. a little background music would […] have been a nice touch too. The rooms were very comfortable but a few more kitchen items would be helpful, like cups, utinsels, etc. I think if they expanded with the proposed pool it would add alot. Loved, loved, loved this place and will go back again, but only if it's the two of us. It could use a few more amenities for kids such as rooms with two queen beds so kids don't have to sleep on a pull out sofa (kids said it was very uncomfortable). The lodge offers a nice space to have a drink in the evening, but it does not offer small snacks for […] kids while the parents enjoy their cocktail. A wonderful retreat for adults, but if you have children you may want to consider staying somewhere closer to town. Lastly, ask if there are going to be large groups during your stay. "The Best in the Gatlinburg Area"
This hotel is in the mountains set apart from the Gatlinburg area. The hotel is amazing. However, Gatlinburg itself had more confederate flags in one place than I'd ever seen in my life. (there was even a store dedicated to these products). Since we are not from that part of the country it was a bit of a shock. "LOVE LOVE The Lodge at Buckberry creek!!!"
Can't say enough about how wonderful this property is!! VERY VERY nice and considerate staff , Helen is especially wonderful!!! The rooms have a rustic decor however it is so relaxing!! Loved the fireplace! The room had a wonderful aroma to it, that I had never experience before while staying in a hotel! The complimentary breakfast had enough variety […] that we didn't feel the need to order off of the menu. The pavillion was awesome!! My favorite spot was in a rocking chair infront of the lit fireplace listening to the creek!! They had free cold bottled water down there and restrooms!!! It's chilly down there so bring a jacket. They aslo have a TV and a stero to enjoy if you wish. Can't wait to come back and stay again!! Two things that need to be meantioned: the trail down to the pavillion is rough! There are some steep places and LOTS of loose rocks and so forth. We wished we had better shoes on as it is very easy to turn an ankle! It was said to be an easy trail, well it is not and I'm just talking about hiking down the hike back up, well let's just say you may need the benches they have along the way or take the shuttle back up. And the other thing is that the water there is "hard" this isn't the lodge's fault but it took alot of conditioner to get where I could run my fingers through my hair after gettting it wet! Hotel was as advertised. There was not a TV in Bedroom, which was ok. Couch had stains on cushion, but overall, it was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek. The room was upscale rustic, very roomy and extremely well appointed. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The Lodge is convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but was nicely tucked in the mountains away from crowds.

I took my wife here for a quiet weekend getaway. We have stayed in downtown Gatlinburg before. This time we wanted some place quieter. The Lodge at Buckberry Creek was a wonderful choice. Everything about the place was great. The staff was friendly. The room was terrific and the restaurant was amazing!

The service at the hotel was prompt and the people were very nice. We got to stay in a suite that was in the 2nd level and had great mountain views. It was absolutely well maintained. The breakfast was good and you will get to sit in the breakfast area indoor and outdoor on a deck with great mountain views. The best part that we enjoyed was "The Pavilion" […] as it is called. It is a .5 miles hike down into the woods to "The Pavilion" from the main Lodge buildings, where you get to see a beautiful stream, a few places where they setup campfire, a dining area with TV and music and a refrigerator with water and drinks. We were expecting more for the four stars and the rate. The continental breakfast was cheesy and not kept up. We had to keep asking for more coffee, butter, bread, etc....more like a 2-star hotel. It was our anniversary, and we were hoping for a quiet room, but ended up with a familiy with small children above us running around til late at night and […] early in the morning. Everything about the room was very nice. Clean, large, comfortable and very cozy. The view was limited from our lower level room. the top floors would certainly be better. The folks running the facility were very nice and the restaurant food was absolutly great. Dinner was cooked to perfection and very tasty!!!

"Wonderful Retreat"
This place was beautiful, with the mountain and tree views from the balcony in my room. Snuggling next to our fireplace after cooking a meal in the kitchen was just the relaxing weekend we were looking for. It is a lovely area with a lot to see, very touristy in town which is one of the reasons this Resort is so nice. It sits on more of a back road […] 5 min. to the heart of town, Just far enough that it is quite inorder to get a peaceful nights sleep. Very friendly and helpful staff. "Awesome Place"
The price is totally worth it for the mountain experience. It is up and out of the way of all the tourist buzz, so you can really enjoy the nature. The log cabin atmosphere is amazing as well. We plan on making this our family's mountain destination from now on.
