Avis d'un client Hotels.com envoyé le 23 janv. 2013Excellent, très confortable, bonnes commodités.Mais il m'a fallu plus d'une heure à l'aeroport pour avoir mon shuttle bus (il faut d'abord le trouver - ensuite attendre 20 minutes dans le bus avant qu'il ne demarre). Prevoir aussi des boules Quies car la piste de decollage n'est pas tres loin de l'hotel.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à séjourner au Plaza Beijing Wangfujing. C'est un petit hôtel chaleureux, agréable et calme où l'on peut bien se reposer après une longue journée de visites. "Outstanding Service"
I cannot recommend the Park Plaza enough, we stayed for 12 nights. Location is great, very close to Wangfujing Street for shopping and Forbidden City & Tiannanmen Square. The rooms are of great quality, spacious and are serviced twice daily, whilst being very well priced. We made good use of the gym each day which was well stocked with bottled water […] and clean workout towels. Whilst the hotel does not have a pool, for a minimal fee you are able to use the Regent Hotel's pool, located behind the Park Plaza. What was a stand out is the lengths that the hotel staff will go to to help you out. Housekeeping is very responsive and brought up a tape measure (don't ask!) within minutes of the request. During our travels we were victim to being ripped off by a traditional chinese medicine 'clinic'. The hotel manager personally organised the concierge team, the security team and the police to resolve the matter for us. End result: we got all our money back. During and after the ordeal, we were offered drinks and snacks to make us as comfortable as possible; it was just way beyond what was expected. Highly recommended. Club floor with Happy Hour additional $50 a night, limo to the airport instead of Taxi, $80 vs. $14. Taxi instead of subway...Other reviewers recommended the club upgrade, but if you don't drink, or only […] drink beer, it isn't worth it. The appetizers were excellent, but there is a lot of great inexpensive food and beer in the area. The "health club" is a small room that didn't even have a full set of weights, and only two machines. I liked this hotel. I t is in a great location so you can walk to many different places like Forbidden city, Tiananmen square and others... The room was great, comfortable and quiet. It was important to me that the internet worked well, for Beijing this was a great connection. There was free wifi and ethernet in the room, and free wifi in the hotel. This hotel is hidden behind the Regent & hared to see/find. Very nice hotel in an area of other nice hotels. There is a subway station almost attached to the hotel so it is easy to get around. Forbidden City is about 20 min walk. Concierge can organize tours for you. Be advised that the tour may not end up showing you destination if traffic conditions […] force changes. "excellent service"
everything in the hotel was perfect. The only problem was the heating system which was shut down due to the regulation. Hotel provided us with a small electric heater and extra blankets. The staff in general were very helpful and tried to faciliate everything. I highly recommend this hotelAvis véridique Hotels.com

"Problem with smoking; charge for fitness centre"
Our first "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and often the hallways smelled strongly of smoke. The fitness centre and pool cost 80RMB per day per person. Very misleading since they advertise a great fitness centre; there is a tiny gym only at the Park Plaza. The real centre is at a hotel next door. The American breakfast was good. Watch out for scams! […] There are a million of them - tea house, fake silk and products, counterfeit money, etc. Overall disappointed and the reviews are overrated. It was a pretty average hotel. "Great hotel for just about everyone"
Not sure were to start with this review, as everything has been said before. This was my first stay at a park plaza hotel and if they are all like this one well they must be superb. The staff right from getting out of the taxi all the way to check out the next day were first class in every way. Very polite and always there to help in any way that they […] could. I stayed on the top floor which is the club level, were they have the club lounge with free drinks and food between 5.30 and 7.30pm. this is great after a long walk around Beijing's shops, The breakfast has a large mix of food to cover most tastes from western to Asian. the only problem that I had, had nothing to do with the hotel itself but the taxi drivers seem to have trouble finding it. If your staying in Beijing for a couple of days at the hotel it is very easy to get to places from as Dengshikou subway station is just about one minutes walk from the hotel. I will use this hotel every time that I am in Beijing from now on as it was the most friendly one that I have stayed in over my last six visits. Lisez la suiteAvis véridique Expedia

"Great value"
For the very reasonable price, this hotel had all I needed - clean comfortable room and bathroom, free wi-fi in the room, courteous and helpful staff, excellent Asian and western buffet breakfast. The subway is just in front of the Regent which is just next door, and Starbucks is right outside. It is within walking distance to a lot of the sights such […] as Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City, and NanLuoGuXiang (southern Bells and Drums Alley - well worth a visit to see a shopping mall built in 1297!). And of course it is just metres from Wangfujing, the night market and shopping alleys. The gym is very basic but for the price, this was not important. There is also a Chinese massage clinic with reasonable prices compared to the spas in the 5 star hotels. Even the bar prices were reasonable and I could have a light meal there - there is a happy hour too. All in all I would recommend this hotel highly to the price-conscious traveller - I was pleasantly surprised by how quietly good this hotel is. Lisez la suiteAvis véridique Expedia

"Highly Recommend"
We chose Park Plaza for it's location (very close to most tourist attractions including the T. Square, Forbidden City, etc.) and within minutes to the subway stn, as well as the price. The rooms were very large and comfortable. Very, very clean, nice firm beds and comforters and great service from every person we met. It was very convenient to have […] a tour guide service desk and we were able to book a private van to visit the Great Wall at a minutes notice. We highly recommend this hotel. We would have liked to spend more time in the room as it was so comfortable and clean but we were busy sightseeing. The restaurant was also great. Their menu was great as it catered to both Asians and Westerners. Great hamburgers and noodle soup. We had breakfast in the room and it was absolutely great and good price. An excellent hotel in a posh area within easy reach to subways, high ways and attractions. Staffs are polite and eager to help. Might be useful to know the Chinese name of the hotel "li ting" when relaying to the cab driver!Avis véridique Expedia
