Beach Quarters Resort Daytona - Daytona Beach

Le meilleur des vacances, un accueil très agréable, attention cependant, la réception ferme à 17 heures, relève plutôt du petit appartement résidence que d'un hotel, les chambres ont cuisine, de quoi prendre le petit déjeuner ou même faire quelques grillades. Bref un petit paradis.

Vu directement sur l'océan. Petit studio viellot mais bien entretenu.Le matelas et le sofa sont dûs pour être changés car ils sont mous.

Bathroom and kitchen need serious updating. Water pressure in shower was poor. Staff was pleasant.

I had read reviews written by previous guest and was not sure what to expect. I was very pleased. The rooms were spotless and everything we needed was there.My son came to fish and he enjoyed Crabby Joe's pier. In my opinion the food was gross but he liked it just fine. it was ok but it couldve been much better. we were promised an ocean view and we got stuck facing the hotel next to us. it is in desperate need of a remodeling. paint is missing. the windows dont stay open. the pillows and mattresses are hard as rocks. . theres no ice machine. it looked a lot bigger in the pictures from the website. it was a suite for […] 5 people. but it was tight with 3 people in it already. I like it very much . Geat place to stay

It was horrible, there was a terrible smell through out the area, sleeping area wasn't what it was made out to be. A small day bed pulled out and the bedding was all torn,it was horrible shape. It really needs updating very old structure. Location could not be more perfect. Management is very nice and attentive. Quiet inside and out. Very clean conditions with small, but workable, kitchen. Pool is clean and heated. Have stayed many times and will continue to make it my first choice for lodging in Daytona Beach.

This hotel was very reasonably priced online, especially for oceanfront. The staff was very nice, and the rooms were very bright, clean and cheerful in appearance. Our A/C didn't work very well, but, thankfully, it was cool at night. The outside is cute but the pool area is in bad disrepair. The concrete was cracked and dirty. The pool needs a new filter-bugs throughout, although looked sparkling clear, and the light was protruding from the bottom of the pool--not anchored, but floating. We had a great time and the hotel service was awesome. Not far from Daytona Beaches boardwalk and right on the beach in Daytona Beach Shores. Our room was on the 5th floor(TOP) and was said to have a "River view" which it did if you look out the windows. But from our balcony we could also see the ocean and the beach and pier!!! Got in at 9 PM. You have to call to get into key box. But it worked out ok. AC did not work. Luckily there was a great breeze and a cool night. The next morning they accommodated us with a new room. overall opinion is good, except for ocean view rooms has a window in the bedroom, that coming out to the hall way, anyone can come and see what u doing there, and in the morning if you want to sleep, you will not be able because u hear whole noise outside. Room was very nice, but the key to get in the side door was hard to get to open. And also the fact that you have to be there before 5 to get into the hotel. If your after five you have to call and wait on someone to get your keys and stuff for you which is kinda an inconvience. But overall it is a good hotel.

I love Beach Quarters. This is about the 4th or 5th time staying there. It could use a little updating, but other than that. GREAT!!!!! The people that work there are wonderful.

Beach Quarters needs updating/refreshing. It was ok for the one night we were at the beach. It was located closely to the pier. The view from the room was lovely. The office is only open until 5 which is very strange. They lock the gate to the beach at 10pm so you have to use the pier for access after 10th. The unit was clean but could use to be painted and thoroughly cleaned but for the price, one could not pass up the location. While it lacked some of the appeal, I would recommend it and would stay there again. It offered Clean rooms, pleasant staff and a wonderful ocean view. We love the view from the ocean front room and it's close to all our fun spots both ocean side and on the river. Can't wait to get back!

We only stayed a couple of nights but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went on a local sea fishing boat for the day which was a great experience. The accommodation was very peaceful and right on the beach. There was a lovely feel to the area and we will definitely go back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well it was a wonderful stay...the only thing is it is a older hotel and the air conditioning has issues....we checked in to one room then had to moved 2 floors up...then that AC stopped working....that is the only downfall...

This was a horrible experience.....roaches, filthy tub, dirty fridge, etc.....internet was not availaable (signal does not reach room) where did they think I would use it? no one @ desk after 5pm...you're on your own and the AC never cooled.

On the plus side, our room looked like it had been decorated professionally and had very colorful walls, lamps, curtains and bedding. It was an A+ view of the beach and the location was fantastic. It was just a short walk down to the ocean. It was also just a short walk to Sloppy Joe's restaurant on the pier. On the downside, when we arrived, the smell […] from the bathroom was very over-whelming. It was like a spray was used to cover up something -- not clean something. We had to close the door at night so we wouldn't smell it all night in the bedroom. Even though the sink in the bathroom was clean, the toilet around the floor area was not clean. Tthe tub had some debris in it. The kitchen sink was also clean. We found that the rooms had not been properly swept nor vacuumed. I wiped down the countertops and found them to be sticky. When checking for dishes, we found the majority of dishes in the dishwasher were on the dry cycle in the dishwasher when we arrived, but I had to wash all of them by hand because there was food and debris still in and on them. The dishwasher door literally fell open to the floor when unlatched and there is a note on the dishwasher advising of it. The oven pan and oven were dirty. The microwave is quite small . Even though the refrigerator was a good size, the refrigerator's freezer did not have a door on it and the ice was quite thick in it on the sides and bottom. I had to wipe up water that accumulated at the bottom of the refrigerator. We also believe the vent should be cleaned above the area where the front door is opened. Ignoring all of the bad points, we concentrated on the beautiful view and location, but we would not stay again unless there was a good price for a better well-kept room. Lisez la suite

I stayed with my family and for the money the hotel suited us just fine. While it is an older hotel and needs some cosmetic work the rooms are large with a fully equipped kitchen which is great for families. I just loved this little room, it was a bit small but who needs large place to lay your head the room was very cozy and nice and people were very nice and loved the location I like the quite end of the beach right by the fishing pier will totally stay here again the price was right and the place was very nice.. Had a great lil family geataway!!

Balcony overlooking ocean and right next to Fishing Pier! Great location. Building and rooms need to be updated and cleaned better. Manager Edwin friendly and helpful. If you bring your Lysol and don't mind cleaning a bit and aren't looking for luxury just a great view of the ocean, you've got it!

I arrived closed to 6pm, there was a sign on the door stating the lobby was closed! I panicked, I thought I lost one night at the hotel and was so confused as to why in the world would the lobby close at 5pm. I called the emergency phone number and they gave me instructions on how to open the lock box by the front door to get my key. I got my key with […] no problems. Its more like a condo type apartment then hotel. There is no maid service unless you stay 7 days or more, you have to take the trash out yourself. And you will have to get fresh towels during lobby hours. The room were nice and comfortable, the tv's are very small. The view was excellent. The pool was cold and dirty with cigarette butts floating in it. There were two small sofa beds in the living room area that pulled out into single beds, great for kids to sleep in. the ocean front one bedroom "suite" was not at all a suite. The room was poorly lit and outdated the sheets seemed as if they were not even changed there was hair all over them and yellow stains and hair on the pillows. when you walk in you see the air vent which is filthy dust all over the appliances the micro and fridge. there was a painting on the […] wall that had more dead bugs than anything else. toe nail clippings around the 19"VHS television. that was just the room the pool was even worse with cigarettes and potato chips in the water we called the front desk and they told us they only clean the pool three times a week Sunday nor Monday was pool cleaning day my 5yr old even asked the guy pressure washing the pool area if he was cleaning the pool he ignored her and left so yeah they are also rude not even a good morning when you pass the front desk which closes at 5pm and they lock the doors in which you need a key to get in the building the experience was terribly disappointing. Well 1st thing 1st the room is nice, but the location is amazing, literally right on the beach. The pool is clean. Now the bad is the beds are bad for ur back, my wife and i woke with pain, the bathroom toilet was dirty. Just plain nasty. I was staying in room 102 and the AC was not working very hot ....that was really the only thing ...other then that I'm sorry I didn't stay longer

Hotel was ok for a one night stay on the beach. Pool was dirty, couldn't swim in it. Hotel front desk closes at 5pm, which is odd. They did have our room keys available for us in a lock box, but couldn't speak to anyone in person if you had issues.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Room was clean and neat very comfortable. Only thing was office closed at 5 and people had to come in and out side door which was left open alot, felt unsafe with that, also pool was dirty and very cold. Location and view was awesome!!

Awesome!!! For the price we paid I was expecting a run down dump. But the Beach Quarters was far from it! Clean, comfortable, an homelike not to mention beach front! We will definitely be staying again sometime soon.

This is not a 3 star hotel, nor a resort. They don't have housekeeping. You have to go to the front desk and request what services or supplies you need and the desk person has to take care of it for you. No internet, no ice machine and the soda machine wasn't even plugged in. The pool area is in nasty shape and the stove and oven in our room was dirty. […] The tv's are like 19 in with a vcr built in. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. There is no front desk staff after 5 pm. However, it was very clean. had a great kitchen, and great location. I felt like we paid for the view....but I was ok with that.

The view makes this place perfect. It is true that the rooms could take a refreshing, but that does not stop the guests to enjoy the best view of Daytona. Apart of the room doors that are hard to open (both room that we reserved, at their place I would change the darn door locks), everything else works just fine. We liked our stay.

Can't beat the location for the price. Worked for all our needs.

AVERAGE QUALITY FOR A TINY "CONDO". BUT THE OFF SEASON PRICE MAKES IT JUST ABOVE AVERAGE. NO MAID SERVICE; INTERNET AVAILABLE NEAR LOBBY ONLY.

The hotel was older but clean and comfortable. No fan in the room but it was nice to open the window and feel the sea breeze. Nice view of the beach.

Yes, the hotel is older than some we have stayed at in Daytona but they keep it very clean and comfortable. It is very spacious and cant say enough about the beautiful oceanfront view! The balcony is big enough and I loved the fact that we could relax on the couch at night with the door open listening to the waves.

CALL THE PROPERTY DIRECTLY IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARE ARRIVING LATE - the desk is not staffed after hours. They will leave a key for you in a lock box. This is an older property, pre-hurricanes of 2004. It is RIGHT on the beach, which is its greatest asset. Rooms are actually small condos, with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Serviceable, but not great. […] Wireless internet has a range of about 4 feet! Exagerating, but our room was within 30 feet of the office, and we could not get signal. We were on a family mission, not on vacation. Just needed a place to shower and sleep. Met our minimal needs. I would be very disappointed if this was my vacation destination!
