Le personnel a été très accueillant avec moi, étant un Français qui ne parle pas très bien anglais, ils ont pris le temps de m'écouter, une personne de personnel m'a même fait une petite visite guider en voiture, c'était très sympa. La chambre est propre et bien équipé. Malgré que l'hôtel soit placé proche d'une usine, il reste tout de même à proximité de plusieurs commerces. En conclusion, j'ai passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel.

Agréable séjour, personnel gentil, disponible contre toute attente. Hôtel bien situé, mais un peu loin du centre ville (LIVERPOOL MANCHESTER) voie rapide proche. Idéal pour un voyage en famille la piscine est magnifique et bien entretenue. On y retourne avec plaisir!!!

I am sorry to say that the experience did not match expectation. The staff were helpful and efficient in both the restaurant and reception but the queue to check in and check out were unacceptable.The hotel room was starting to look tired and the lift had a very sour / damp smell. "Wonderful hotel but half the staff very poor"
The building is a wonderful art deco experience. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed. The food of good standard. But we had a few minor issues that we needed help to resolve, but customer service was seriously lacking. Those in positions who should be trained in customer service we found to be rude and simply said "here is the general manager's […] details, you must contact him on Monday as there is nothing I can do". The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff were very polite and friendly. On arrival they provided me with all the information needed. Also with the executive room we got a free bar near our room from 5.30-7.30 which I didn't know about so that was nice and also when we first arrived fruit and wine was delivered to the room. The room itself was very […] comfortable however the furniture did need updating as it was a bit tatty but overall it was nice. We ordered room service and the food was lovely but most the time we were out the hotel for a wedding so unfortunately did not get to eat in the restaurant or go to the bar. "A lovely stopover outside the city centre"
We stayed in this hotel as it was close by to where friends live. We arrived 2 hours before check in time but were still able to get into our room straight away which was a massive help. For people who aren't local, the easiest way to get into town is by car but a taxi ride isn't too expensive. Loved our room and the service. A couple of down sides […] were: very slightly shabby in the bathroom (but only on close inspection), the bed was a small double which is unusual in hotel rooms and lastly the drinks at the bar are very expensive. Room comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Problem with telephone fixed very quickly. Breakfast on Sunday morning was rather chaotic and staff struggled to cope with the numbers of people. Had to ask three times for tea to be served. PROS: Convenience factor to the airport was great as we arrived at 7pm from Belfast and had a 6.30am flight the next morning to Tallinn. Bathroom was good. CONS: There was a wedding going on when we arrived and we were placed in room 001, which is on the ground floor, next to te lobby. We heard conversations and a lot of noise from folks standing outside […] our window, well past 1am. You could also hear conversations from the guests in neighboring rooms. There was no remote in the room for the tv and it didn't work without it. Had to call front desk and one was delivered in a few minutes. Tv had color issues. Charged for Internet. Options were 1 hour for £4.95 or 24 hours for £12.95. Slow speed. I was charged for renting a movie at check-out when I didn't order one. Great location for visiting the numerous sites and attractions of Liverpool / Merseyside whilst being on the outskirts of the city itself. Fabulous building which is immaculately maintained being the old LiverpoolAirport. Staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that you have to pay for Internet service so we found ourselves walking over to Macdonalds […] on the retail park opposite where it is FREE! If you plan to spend most of your trip in Livedpool City Centre be aware that you would need some transport. Luckily taxis and public transport are readily available. ATTENDING A FAMILY FUNERAL WE ORIGINALLY CHOSE THIS HOTEL AS MY MUM AND DAD FIRST MET AT THE OLD LIVERPOOL AIRPORT. DAD USED TO FLY RAPIDES AND THERE IS A REPLICA PARKED IN FRONT. THE SURPRISE WAS HOW BEAUTIFULLY THE BUILDING AND ANNEXES HAVE BEEN ADAPTED AND HOW FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL EVERYBODY WAS. "Disappointing service with an attitude"
Twice could not find my reservation, once after I had already checked in. Had to reactivate my room key. I was told to sit in a chair for 10 minutes until they could look for my reservation. After 15 minutes, same receptionist asked, "Did you want to check in." I replied, "Yes, I had been waiting for you to find my reservation." Response: "I found it […] for you." "Hit and miss"
Nice looking hotel due to 1930s history of the building. Service was hit and miss; one of the breakfast waitresses clearly did not enjoy her job which reflects on whole service experience. On final day I was overcharged, 7 meals instead of 4, which does happen I suppose but glad I checked. Worth staying for the art deco building alone! The Beatles connection also made it interesting, I've been scrambling around Youtube to find the clip! As a hotel we couldn't fault it. It had all the expected features which were well up to standard - not much more I can say really.
