Tous les hôtels à Sorrente"Wow, very romantic hotel"
This place is in a fantastic location. This was our first visit to Italy and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are prefectly groomed and the common areas are beautifully decorated. The breakfast was included with our room was also great. We tried the fixed priced dinner the first night and we […] didn't think that was such a great meal, just overall OK and a bit pricey for what we got. Would highly recommed staying here. It's away from the center where it's quiet and the vistas are amazing. Lisez la suite
"Lovely Hotel"
We couldn't have asked for a better hotel for our stay in Sorrento. Very clean, very helpful staff, nice food and lots of character! The pool layout is perfect to give peace and quiet despite being a large hotel. There are quite a few steps to get around, but it seems like that's a norm for Sorrento. Based on our stay I would definitely reccomend!
"GREAT HOTEL"
BREATH TAKING VIEWS, EXTREMELY CLEAN HOTEL, AND WITHING WALKING DISTANCE TO CENTER. HOTEL RESTAURANT NOT THE BEST, BEST TO GO OUT AND EAT LIKE THE LOCALS. MADE SEVERAL REQUEST, BUT STAFF WAS VERY LINEAR AND WOULD NOT ACCOMODATE. NO AMERICAN HOTEL WOULD HAVE THE GUEST COME DOWN TO THE BAR TO GET AN ICE BUCKET OF HICH THEY HAD NONE.... REALLY??? STAFF […] ALSO IS NOT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF TRAIN AND BUS SCHEDULES, CAUSED US TO MISS OUR TRANSPORT BACK TO ROME, VERY INCONVENIENT AND EXPENSIVE!!! Lisez la suite

"Hotel Capodimonte"
a lovely hotel with greta views across to Naples. Ideal for Pompei and Vesuvios and close to many many restuarants. Swimming pools excellent and breakfast very good. Would stay again
All aspects of Hotel Capodimonte were excellent and our stay was very very enjoyable. Excursions to the main attractions in the region (Capri, Vesuvius, Pompeii etc) were easily arranged at the front desk and not overpriced and, of course, the weather was wonderful. A first class holiday destination at a first class hotel.
"Capodimonti Sorrento"
A little bit of an hill to negotiate but the food is excellent would definitely recommend half or full board.
"What an amazing stay!"
I spent an entire day searching for a good hotel in Sorrento for my wife and I and another couple for four days in July. After reading good reviews for this hotel we made the plunge and chose the Grand Hotel Capodimonte. Wow - what a great choice! Not only were Hotels.com a whopping 20% cheaper than the competition, but the hotel was amazing and we […] ALL said we would go again. LOCATION - The hotel was in a perfect spot, about 300 meters to the town centre perched on a cliff overlooking the picturesque bay and with views of the harbour, the town, Naples and even Mount Vesuvius... We walked into the town every night and to all the attractions with ease, and the hotel was just far enough away from the noise of the bustling town to be quiet at night. Perfect. STAFF - The reception staff were excellent, helping us out whenever they could and their English was very good. All staff were smart and clean at all times and they even had a laugh with us on a few occasions which was refreshing for a 'posh' hotel. Some of the breakfast staff had poorer English but on the whole we got understood... ROOM - We had the most basic room type (no. 715) as we planned to be out a lot. It was a little small (we put our cases in the wardrobe) but it was clean and more than adequate. It had a good LCD tv with perfect reception (rare!), a nice bathroom with built-in hairdryer, aircon which was quiet, a balcony with the most perfect view and electronic window shutters which gave full light block-out in the mornings. It was a short walk to the pool and pool bar/restaurant, had a digital safe and even a whopping 20 nice hangers! Deluxe... :) On the whole we were more than happy with our room and the service. HOTEL - One word - EXQUISITE. It surprised us it was a 4 star it was that nice. Five pools that cascaded onto each other, plenty of sunbeds, marble everywhere, a sumptuous reception, plenty of parking etc. Absolutely magic... FOOD - We only had breakfast which was very nice and no complaint Lisez la suite
"Hotel Capodimonte, Great location"
The hotel is in a prime location just minutes from the main square of Sorrento. We arrived at Naples airport and caught a bus from just outside main arrivals - this took us straight to Sorrento bus station, you can walk to the hotel but with luggage I'd recommend getting a taxi. Arriving at the hotel the reception team all spoke very good English, we […] checked-in and were taken to our room. We were a little disappointed with our room, our balcony looked straight onto a 12ft concrete wall, with no sunlight at any part of the day. I would certainly recommend contacting the hotel prior to arrival to ensure you had a room with view over the 'typical mediterranean vegetation'. The room itself was a good size with ample storage - only other comment was that the in-room safe was charged for on a daily rate. Other than this the hotel and the staff were good, the views from the pool area are beautiful and the hotel is in a great location just on the outskirts of the main area of Sorrento. Lisez la suite
"Wonderful Resort To Relax By The Pools"
Great hotel - walking distance to the town and atmosphere of Sorrento. The room had plenty of space but the floor tiles are a little dated. Wonderful pools and poolside area with views across the bay. Only downside was that the pool closes at 6pm but so long as you are there before 6pm you can stay as long as you want, also the pools aren't heated - […] which is fine when the weather is warm but the whirlpool also isn't heated - would be nice to have a warm spa and sauna to complete resort facilities. "Vacation in Southern Italy"
My wife and I traveled last month to Southern Italy and stayed three nights at Grand Hotal Capodimonte. The location was fantastic: a pleasant ten minute walk to downtown Sorrento. We stayed in an upgraded room and were pleased with the accomodations. The room is not huge by any means, but the view was beautiful. The bed is alittle stiff but we had […] no problems with it. The breakfast was more than adequate with eggs, meat, cheeses and breads. The only thing that was a negative for the hotel was the front staff. If you expect warm fuzzies from your hotel staff then you will be disappointed with them. We felt as though we were an inconvenience to the staff when asking them questions. Maybe this is a cultural difference but they seemed arrogant to me. This however did not ruin the overall impression of our stay and we would recommend friends to go there. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Capodimonte Sorrento - Unique location!"
We recently stayed at this hotel and took time to view a few other hotels at which our friends had stayed. This hotel was on a par with the other similar rated ones but.....the location with views over the rooftops and across the bay far outshone the others by far! It is located a few minutes pleasant walk out of the centre, but the bonus of views over […] breakfast and fabulous pool area away from the noise from the town was quite unique. The only minor complaint was wi-fi was not free to residents. Lisez la suite

"Cappodimonte"
This hotel in Sorrento was well located for us. Just 10 minutes walk from the bus station and with amazing views across the coast.
"Grand Hotel Capodemonte Sorrento"
Fabulous hotel very convenient location five minutes walk to Sorrento town and shops. We stayed for 7 nights and had a large comfortable room and great bathroom with plenty of hot water and fresh towels. We had great views of Naples Bay and Vesuvius from our patio doors which opened out to one of the many terraces. Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked […] eggs rashers/ sausages everykind of pastry and bread fresh fruit and yogurts really nice cheese and ham and salami. The staff were friendly and very professional also very helpful. A really super hotel definately book again only next time would have full board . Lisez la suite
"Grand Hotel Capodimonte, Sorrento"
This is a lovely hotel in a prime position. We paid top price for a premier room with a balcony and outstanding views over Sorrento Bay and the Bay of Naples and we are pleased that we paid the extra as there are many rooms with a rear view. This hotel is efficiently run and during our stay was probably full. The reception staff were very helpful with […] all our needs, booking excursions and theatre visits and dry cleaning etc. The restaurant was always busy especially with large numbers to cater for at breakfast and again the staff were attentive and efficient. The buffet breakfast were very good but we did not use the restaurant for other meals, choosing instead to eat out at the many excellent Sorrento establishments within easy walking distance. "Hotel Capodimonte"
Rooms were beautifully decorated and they all had tile floors both in the room and the bath fixtures. Ceilings were high making the room seem much bigger than it really was. Cleanliness was a high priority. Maid service was good, sometimes you might see them twice in one day. Breakfast was sumptuous with a cook to make your omelette to order. No one […] hurried you. The concierge was gracious and answered all you questions. The pool is fabulous - 5 tiers and the landscape is a work of art. Lisez la suite

"The Grande Hotel Capodimonte"
Beautiful Hotel with outstanding views. Food was lovely too. Idealy located to main town, not too close but yet within walking distance only about 5 minutes away. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
"HOTEL CAPODIMONTE SORRENTO"
I WAS AT THE CAPODIMONTE HOTEL SEPT 20 FOR 4 NIGHTS.EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL IS FANTASTIC EXCEPT THE COFFEEE! DON,T ORDER COFFEE,I KNOW ITS HARD TO BELIEVE ABOUT A HOTEL IN ITALY,BUT ITS BAD BOTHJ IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM AND AT THE POOL LUNCH BAR,OTHER THAN THAT YOU WILL ENJOY EVERYTHING,GREAT LOCATION,5 MINS TO MAIN SQUARE. DECLAN,SLIGO,IRELAND.
"Hotel Capidmonte - INCONVENIENT LOCATION"
Inconvenient location - definite tourist hotel in the worst sense of the word. Every attribute had an additional charge (charged for coffee at breakfast, charged for use of in-room safe). The hotel is not relaxing, and it feels like a constant battle with the staff, the location, the "rules" of the hotel. The hotel appears to be well-situated for travel, […] however it is located on an extremely busy street (traffic noise audible from all rooms). There is no water access (even if from a map you appear to be close to water, be warned - you are a good 20 minute walk away from the port and/or beaches). There is no neighborhood feel - you could be in any country on the planet, so there is nothing to distinguish this as Italy. OVERPRICED for the area - overpriced for Italy. Swimming pool was nice (four-tier cascading pool) but is not heated. The facilities were fine - large hotel with lots of room. Good view, but overall the hotel felt cold and unwelcoming, and nothing special. Also - the clients at the hotel were mostly older, tour-bus type clients. Lisez la suite
"Grand Hotel Capodimonte 4 Stars -- Not Really"
This is a decent hotel in a good area, but the hotel is a bit tired and the service is average. Not what I expect in a 4 Star Hotel. This hotel is very expensive for the services/quality offered.
"Not a 4-Star"
This hotel is nicely located in Sorrento, with a magnificent view of Pompeii from the terraces. The common areas are very attractive, but the beds are thin and hard; pillows like rocks and linens rough. The staff at the front desk was insufferably arrogant the night we stayed there. We arrived at 10 pm, due to travel delays and were given the "last […] room" in the hotel, which was like a sauna. They had" no other rooms" when questioned on the phone from our assigned room, but when we made a trip back to the front desk, they "suddenly" located one. The desk clerk was clearly annoyed that we would make such a request. We have had good hotels.com experiences to this point, as well as consistenely good Italy hotel experiences. This was not one of them. There are many lovely hotels on the Amalfi coast to choose from. We would not return to this one. At these rates, you should not be made to feel like you are doing the hotel a favor by visiting them. Lisez la suite
"Beautiful location with a few problems"
This is a very large hotel. Much larger than I anticipated. The staff, for the most part, are helpful. The front desk staff more so than the resturant staff. In the resturant I requested that my expresso be hotter. I was told it was as hot as they could make it and it got cold because I was putting milk in it. This was the last stay of a 3 week tour […] of Europe and I didn't run into this problem other places. Maybe they should consider providing warm milk. My main disappointment in this hotel was that our room, even though looked liked the pictures on the web site, did not get any sun on the patio and had a musty smell. I think the smell was due to the fact that everytime you left the room, the air conditioner shut off until you returned and put your key in the slot. Maybe the other rooms, that have sun exposure, don't smell as bad. The location was perfect. A short walk to the center of Sorrento. The pool area was very nice and the view is amazing. I would stay here again, however next time, I will request a different room. Lisez la suite
"The Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento"
This hotel provides service in a friendly and informative manner. Most employees speak good english as a large part of the clientele is from the UK. Its only a few minutes walk into town down a short gentle slope and you are at many of the restaurants and most of the shopping which is open until 11 pm. At least in aug when we were there. The best dinner […] we had was at the hotel restaurant. You definitely want a room with a view of the bay but it will cost more but also includes a small balconey. The only issue we had was you leave your only key at the desk when you go out and when you return and ask for the key you dont have to show any id so it would not be difficult for anyone else to get access to your room Lisez la suite
"Grand Hotel Capodimonte = PERFECT!"
This hotel was absolutely perfect for my husband and I on our honeymoon. We were exhausted from a week long cruise where we had been on a regimented schedule visiting many ports. Once we got to Sorrento, all we wanted to do was relax and this hotel was PERFECT! The multi-layered pool was gorgeous with an amazing view. It was wonderful to lounge by the […] pool, reading and drinking a Peroni or two. At night, we were so close to town we could take a 5 minute walk to many different restaurants and shops. During the days that we were feeling ambitious, we took day trips to Capri and Positano that the hotel efficiently coordinated for us. The only negative thing that we might mention is that the "king" bed was actully two twin beds, side-by-side that were not ideal for a couple on their honeymoon. Other than that, we absolutely loved the hotel and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Sorrento or the south of Italy. Lisez la suite

Beautiful hotel built into the side of a cliff overlooking Sorrento. Pleasant 10 min walk to town center. Hotel has stunning multi-level pools with gorgeous views of the coastline. "A Great Place to Visit the Sorrento Peninsula"
Be sure to get a room with a view of the bay and the city, then settle back for a wonderful stay. A short walk into thjs vibrant town with access to all the other wonderful experiences of the Amalfi. "would definitely return"
Just returned from a 10-day stay at the Capodimonte. Decided to spend slightly more than we usually would as we'd heard good things about the hotel. Great location, 10 minute stroll from the centre of Sorrento, set on the cliff-side giving magnificent views over the town, bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Stayed on b&b basis, breakfast selection was impressive. […] Didn't eat dinner at the hotel restaurant as we preferred to go into town, choice looked good though. The pool area is amazing, though drinks at the pool bar slightly overpriced. All staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was one of the cheaper ones but still of a decent size and though not having a panoramic view, could still see Vesuvius. With windows open the road noise is quite loud but when shut couldn't hear a thing. Minibar ok, no kettle and surprised about the charge for using the room safe but apart from that we were very pleased with it. After debating whether to go for a cheaper room in the centre, we're definitely glad we decided to spend a little more and would return to the Capodimonte when we come back to Sorrento. "Beautiful hotel!"
This hotel is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! It was our favorite on our recent trip to Italy. I reccomend it 100%!
"Pricey but great views"
We had a room with a fabulous view of the town and the bay from our balcony. Cost a bunch but my husband is "a view person". Good breakfast. The desk staff did not give out information easily, such as how to catch a bus, nor were they willing to get their internet terminal going or find an airline phone number. Maybe that is the Italian way.
"Wonderful hotel"
Views amazing, service excellent really good choice of hotel for Sorrento. Only 5 minutes walk to centre

Very nice hotel !
