Super 8 Motel - Georgetown - Georgetown

Hotel is close to interstate - I expected road noise, but the location was pretty quiet. We were on ground floor and could occasionally hear guests walking in the room above but overall, noise (internal or external) was not a problem. This Super 8 is near some newer motels and could use some updates - new paving for parking lot, new tables and chairs […] in breakfast area, and brighter carpet. Our bathroom door had a broken handle. But everything was very clean, bed was comfortable, and we had a microwave and refrigerator along with basic room amenities. Complimentary breakfast was pretty basic - fruit, cereal, pastries, plus biscuits and gravy. Employees were friendly and desk clerk offered several helpful options for local restaurants. Hotel is very convenient to Kentucky Horse Park and north Lexington. Just the basics, but a comfortable stay. Lisez la suite

Breakfast had a good variety. Hair in a hand towel and receptionist was unwelcoming. I also stayed across the street at the Sleep Inn. Would book there again but not the Super 8.

This is the third time we stayed at this Super 8 and I am again impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, quality and service of this hotel. i travel a lot and have stayed at hotels that cost 3x the price but were not nearly as nice. Very nice and clean hotel for the money it was excellent!! Comfortable bed and friendly staff. No complaints at all.. will stay there again if I go back to Kentucky.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Georgetown because it was close to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington - about a 10-minute drive -- and close to I-40. It was a very positive experience. When we walked into the room, we had the feeling that we were in a much more expensive hotel. Everything was so clean. The bed linens were fresh, clean, and comfortable […] -- seemed brand new. The bathroom was extremely clean, as was the sink area in the room. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave. My teenaged daughter is very picky about hotel rooms, and she was very happy with this one! The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a fairly small motel, so we were always able to get the elevator quickly. The breakfast was good. This was our 2nd stay here, and we will definitely try to get this hotel next time! The air conditioning unit was very loud so we didn't sleep well at all. The walls are very thin so we could hear other guests, doors closing, toilets flushing...

weak wireless internet but you can get it in the lobby, great biscuits and gravy!

We enjoyed our one night stay at Super 8 Georgetown because of the cleanliness, friendly staff and condition of the room. This hotel is just as good as many so-called 3-star hotels. Restaurants and shopping are close by and is a pleasure to get away from the noisy areas of Lexington itself where for one night's stay we heard numerous screaming sirens […] as well as heavy traffic noise. The "continental" breakfast was as good as it gets - waffles, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, hot biscuits, gravy, danishes and bagels. One of the best hotels in Georgetown, especially for the price. My wife booked a room for us, one for her father & brother and one for her sister at this wonderful hotel. She had organized a trip for everyone to go to the Kentucky Derby in Louisville. While the hotel was not exactly close to Louisville, it was the perfect place for everyone to convene and relax. The staff was amazing, particularly the woman who […] was in charge of the breakfast. She went out of her way to get a bagel and juice for me half an hour after breakfast was closed, and she made my father in law a waffle and brought it over to him. Speaking of breakfast, it was fantastic! Biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, juice and coffee and pastries! Wow! The room was clean and the beds "super" comfortable. We had a fridge and a desk and a comfortable chair for relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night visit and would gladly stay again next year. Lisez la suite

Easy to get to just off of I-75 with a few decent restaurants nearby. Easy and short distance down to Lexington and Keeneland. Only drawback is the very very small bathroom. My room was very clean. What you would expect, basic and simple but clean.

IT WAS DIFFICULT TO FIND HOTEL. I SAW THE LIGHTED SIGN IN THE SKY, BUT HAD A HARD TIME FINDING THE ACTUAL ENTRANCE.

This was a decent room in a decent hotel for a decent price, but.... The front desk staff is not friendly, helpful or courteous. No greetings as one comes and goes. No help with doors when they're outside and you are pushing cart. One of the workers (manager?) was out in the lobby in bare feet chatting up the person behind the desk. They say pet friendly […] but most looked disdainfully at your dog. Breakfast not well tended to as far as restocking items. Good location. Room fine. Just avoided the negative attitude in lobby by entering end doors (which were never locked). Don't leave anything out on bed like your pillow or they are not allowed to make it. Bathroom was not swept on the weekend. Sink and tub clogged so slow draining but didn't want to deal with front desk to get corrected when I was there. WE HAD A NICE STAY. EVERYTHING WAS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. THE BREAKFAST THEY SERVE IS GREAT AND HELPS YOU GET A FAST START FOR THE DAY. WOULD STAY AT A SUPER 8 AGAIN.

The previous week we had booked a room in Lexington, Ky through another internet service at another chain. We told them when we made the reservation that we would be late. When we got there, they had rented our room to a walk-in customer. We were afraid that this might happen again but it did not. The room was ready, the personnel were very helpful […] and the entire place was clean despite the fact that it is under some renovation. The pool was great, clean, and nice chairs and tables. I would definitely rate it above any of the motels off Exit 110 in Lexington Ky except for the Hampton Inn. Lisez la suite

Super 8's are independently owned, so make sure you get one that has been updated with the new perfect sleeper beds!!! I did not expect a down comforter and awesome pillows in a Super 8. Boy was I pleased when I walked into my room!

Brand new bed with down comforter and lots of quality pillows. Very clean room and no smoke smell ANYWHERE (even though the 3rd fl. is smoking). Breakfast was great and there was security watching my car in the lot. Seriously, what else could I ask for? The PRICE CANNOT BE BEAT. I hope the other Super 8 hotels are of this quality because I travel 4x's […] per week and will book the whole year if they are all of this quality. I have stayed in Super 8 motels for many years. This was the worst, ever! I paid in advance, non-refundable, for two non-smoking rooms and specified allergies. We got a late start because my truck got stuck in the mud, the weather was bad so we had to drive slower than planned, so we arrived very late. The front desk clerk had taken it upon herself […] to cancel our reservations because we didn't show up when she thought we should have. Fortunately she didn't sell our rooms to someone else. She too 20 minutes to rebook us and lost much of the data. The next day our room key cards didn't work, and twice a day thereafter we had to get the cards reprogrammed. Each time it was a different desk clerk and each time the clerk did NOT ask for ID. we are 3 women and this is a safety issue! There was only one towel in each room and no drinking cups. The second evening, there was strong smoke smell in one of the rooms. In one room, the TV took about 10 minutes to "warm up" before it gave a came on with a clear picture. Each day I returned to my room, the bed had been made but the floor was still litered with the original dirt that was there when I checked in. I will never stay in this motel again. It needs a major overhaul, even the elevator was broken on one evening. Lisez la suite

We stayed in this hotel to have a place to sleep and a HOT shower in the morning. We woke up to no hot water at 8 am and byy check out time at 11 still not hot water. We were not given an extended check out time or any kind of refund. We took cold showers and we were only told "sorry". There was no other attempt to make up for this inconvenience.

The Super 8 in Georgetown was fantastic. We stayed there for 2 weeks during Pony Finals. It is really a hotel, not a motel, with all interior doors. When my […] car battery died, they drove us to the horse park, took me shopping for a new battery and they installed it for me!! Awesome people! The hotel is very convenient to the Horse Park. It was easy to get to the Kentucky Horse Park from here, but our sheets and towels were not clean. Breakfast and internet were great.

We loved the king sized bed.

Rooms were nice, but bathroom's small and dim. Biggest complaint was that side door to hotel was not operational. This is a fire hazard and should not have been allowed to remain in this condition the entire weekend.

We loved staying in this hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff! Wonderful breakfast with LOTS to chose from! We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Kentucky!

We were very surprised by the condition of our room it was very clean, comfortable and was convenient with a refridgerator, microwave and coffee maker. Our past experiences with some of this chains accomodations were not very impressive. Breakfast was an added bonus as we needed to get back on the road again quickly the next morning. The only thing I didn't like was the drains in the sink and shower were really slow and so they would fill up with water! But other then that GREAT HOTEL, great breakfast selection, clean rooms, COMFORTABLE beds and bedding! Definitely will stay there again!

The first thing we noticed when entering the hotel lobby was that it was warm. The clerk at the front desk proceeded to tell us that the air conditioner in the halls did not work, but the air in the rooms did work. Our air in the room worked, but I don't feel it worked to the extent a typical room does. Upon entering the room. We needed to use the […] hairdryer. It did not work. Using the bathroom, we found that the toilet seat was near falling off the commode. When we return to Ky again for our next stay with family, we will not be staying at the Super 8 motel. Dejligt hotel med søde og venlige ansatte. Tæt på Kentucky horse park, som var der vi skulle hen hver dag. Dejligt med mange restauranter lige i nærheden, samt motorvejen tæt på. Rigtig gode forhold. Pæne værelser, god rengøring, betjening samt morgenmad. God beliggenhed.
