"Superb Location"
what can one say 5 out of 5 on all points, only one complaint, did not have long enough there!!
"Very cute and clean."
I was pleasantly surprised by Ester. Well-maintained old style property. I really enjoyed walking the stairs up to my room--so much homier than a typical hotel elevator. I didn't mind the sloped ceiling, though I did find myself hitting the chandelier a few times while dressing. Very good value and style!
"Best hotel in the Kazmierz"
I've been to Krakow for work the past four years. I try to stay in the Kazmierz as it is close to many restaurants, bars, and old 19th-century style. Most of the places have stayed have been acceptable, and of hostel-level comfort. But this was the best I've been in. A good value. If I had to put in one complaint, the breakfast was small and unimpressive, […] but there are plenty of choices in a short walk. I'll be back. Lisez la suite
"Disappointing"
Horrible experience, in order to get the room I booked I had to start a fight. Totally disorganised and the last floor of the hotel should be closed down as it is not fit to be rooms for normal height people, as the ceiling was too low in places.

"Hotel Ester Cracow - super location"
in the central cobbled square of the Jewish Quarter - surrounded by restaurants, and easy walking distance of city centre, Ghetto, Schindler museum etc.

"The Hotel Ester , the little hotel that could"
Very plesantly surprised, It had old world charm with all the convience one comes to expect of a larger chain. It was very clean. Also it was close to alot of resturants in the neighborhood, and attractions, can't say enough good things

"Ester Hotel in one word... quality."
My second trip to Krakow and first stay at Ester was to say the least, quality and comfortable. Location: In a quiet corner of the Jewish quarter which is the best place to stay in Krakow. Your away from the stag parties yet only a 15 min stroll into the old town. The food at the nearby restaurants "Ariel" and "Kalmierz Hois" were 2 of the better meals […] we had in the 5 days. Service: Really quick to bring things to the room. Shame there was no mini bar. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Fresh local meat, cheese, bread and cereals all laid out. Not sure about the random decor in the restaurant mind. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Enjoy Krakow! Lisez la suite

"Ester Krakow,"
Clean efficient hotel in a great location in Jewish Quarter. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants and activity. Excellent breakfast buffet that one might look to include up front. Well worth a visit, but is 15 mins walk from Old Town.
"Ester Hotel Krokow"
We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Our room was a bit smokey from the previous guests but they moved us, and for a small fee we got the best room in the hotel. The view from our window into the Old Town Square was lovely to see. Breakfast was probably typical of catering for all Europeans. (Maybe they could invest in a larger toaster as they only had […] a 2 slice toaster)!! The staff were very helpful to our needs, but we didn't bother them too much either. I would definatley go again and stay in the Ester Hotel, but would like to go in the summer months this time. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Ester in Kazimierz"
Great location for a great hotel that does exactly what it claims in its brochure. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this hotel as we explored the Jewish Quarter of Krakow. Th hotel is ideally located for viewing Kazimierz and within easy walking distance of the main market square in the centre of Krakow which is a truly beautiful and friendly city. […] Lots of interesting walks and sigts to see. I highly recommend this hotle and this city for a short break. Lisez la suite
"Ester Hotel in Krakow - Jewish Quarter"
My husband & I had the pleasure of staying at the Ester Hotel last weekend. It's located smack dab in the middle of the Jewish Quarter & about a 15 minute walk to the major "Old Town" sites. Staff were friendly, our room was clean & comfortable & the (paid) breakfast was a feast! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

"Ester Hotel in Krakow - Jewish quarter"
Hotel was pleasant and very nicely fitted out in the restaurant and reception. Smaller size made it feel a little more personal. I wouldn't class it as a 4 star though, unless other rooms are better. The twin room was on the top floor in the eaves, so we constantly had to bend down when walking around the room to avoid knocking ourselves out! The room […] was very clean and well furnished, but quite depressing as it was all dark wood, dark carpet, dark beams (in your face) and with a few of the back of the apartments behind, and all their rubbish on their balconies. With plug sockets hanging off the wall and little things like that, it wasn't an appealing place to chill out, and no coffee making facilities, although the complimentary water they replaced daily was appreciated (although tea making would've been better!). The hotel allows smoking (which is probably the norm in Poland) but I found it highly unacceptable to wake up in the night being able to smell cigarettes coming from neighbouring rooms, it was quite unpleasant. It was well placed for those who want the quiet of being out of the main square, and there was no shortage of lovely quiet restaurants on the doorstep, and the main tours pick up from outside. If it was classed as a 3 star I would probably agree, but the 4 star is pushing it. Bathroom was beautiful and brand new, but with no ventilation so it was like a sauna as soon as you got in the shower. They did give little toiletries, but I would rather have a window or extractor fan, and no cigarette smoke drifting in from other rooms! Lisez la suite
"Hotel Ester Krakow. Good location Jewish Quarter"
My wife (age 46 and 50) and I took a few days break at this hotel following reading other reviews. The hotel was clean and staff at reception friendly. All spoke good english and were keen to converse and in general be helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom spotless. No bath, just a shower cubicle, but water pressure was great (we […] were on the top floor), and there was never a hint that the hot water may run out. Breakfast was the same every day cold meats, cheeses, various salad type offerings, cereal, coffee tea and juices. You could ask for eggs cooked differently, scarmbled for example. The restaurant menu was good, typical stews, steaks, fish etc, cooked and presented with great care, and the prices were so cheap. For example we had a bottle of wine, Beer, two main dishes, two puddings, side salads, bread, and two Baileys to finish, and the bill came to less than £40 !!. Waiting satff were really friendly and helpful, but not in your face every five minutes, there was no rush at all, very relaxed. The Jewish quarter was quite lively, lots of music in the evenings, and quite a few restauarnts to choose from all within a couple of minutes walk. You could also take a tour on electric cars, a ride on horse and carriage, which based themeseves on the square outside of the hotel. Every morning there were also tours of people viewing the area and local synagogues. So if you want it absolutely silent, maybe not the place to be, but it was definiteley not intrusive. A walk to the main Town square took about 20 easy minutes all on flat terrain, no hill climbing. All in all a really good, value for money find, we would definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite
"A lovely boutique hotel in a vibrant nieghborhood"
Well done boutique hotel renovated with all the modern conveniences in a lovely old building, it is located in the historic Jewish Quarter of Krakow which has become a very "happening" neighborhood. The staff is friendly and efficient. A minor complaint was that the desk never had change and that was something you always need for tips, etc. The hotel […] had a restaurant which had Klezmer music on some nights. They were terrific musicians and we highly recommend having dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and hearing them. Lisez la suite

the hotel was small and suited the surroundings- the buffet breakfast was ok- not a large selection but adequate- the location is excellent if u want to be in the jewish area- reasonable walking distance to other sites
"Ester Hotel, Krakow - superb location"
The Ester Hotel in Krakow is located in the picturesque Jewish quarter known as Kazimierz. This was a superb location - at the corner of a plaza which contained a variety of restaurants and bars which served Jewish and Polish food. There are numerous sightseeing opportunities within walking distance of the Ester, reinforcing it's prime location spot. […] It was only a 15-20 min walk away from the old town too. As for the hotel itself, I could not fault it. I had a double room which was a very comfortable size for myself. The buffet breakfast was also good - especially the herring! I would thoroughly recommend the Ester to anyone. Lisez la suite
"Ester Hotel Krakow - a real gem!"
We stayed at the Ester Hotel for two nights in June. It is very conveniently located in the very heart of Kazimierz district in Krakow which, as we also found, was within an easy walking distance to the city centre. The room we got was fantastic. We stayed in many hotels around Europe, including Hilton, but this one is our favourite so far! Very spacious, […] fresh with stunning decor and a great attention to detail. Lovely bathroom with a corner bath. Powerfull air-con unit which was much appreciated due to hot weather. Although our windows were overlooking the street the room was nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was nice and there was a good choice. We also tried the restaurant and really liked the food, even though we thought it might have been a bit overpriced (discount for hotel guests is available). Only one thing, but that is common to all hotels in Krakow at the moment- if you watch your budget, do your homework before booking any tours or transport with the hotel. They all use their friends and relatives and they are not necessary the cheapest option! Lisez la suite
"The Esther Hotel, Krakow"
Situated in an interesting square in the historic Jewish quarter of the city this hotel offers excellent accommodation and has a very good dining room serving a full breakfast and with an extensive menu for evening dinner. Jättetrevligt hotell med perfekt läge i den judiska delen av staden. Rummen rena och fina, olika standard på rummen. Maten si så där på hotellet. Bra och hjälpsam personal både i receptionen och i restaurangen.

"Ester Hotell - Krakow"
"Hotel Ester - Ottima soluzione qualita'/prezzo"
