Agréable séjour, personnel gentil, disponible contre toute attente. Hôtel bien situé, mais un peu loin du centre ville (LIVERPOOL MANCHESTER) voie rapide proche. Idéal pour un voyage en famille la piscine est magnifique et bien entretenue. On y retourne avec plaisir!!!

hotel confortable et chambre propre par contre j'ai regretté l'absence de sèche cheveux dans un hotel de cette catégorie. Par contre au petit déjeuner ( qui était très varié et frais ), nous avons regretté un café correct. les expressos, cappucinos sont en supplément.... Par contre votre personnel pourrait faire un effort afin de parler une autre langue que l'Anglais et surtout lorsque les personnes ont des difficultés a parler votre langue, elles devraient faire un effort pour articuler et parler doucement. Mais cette constatation n'est pas que pour votre établissement.

"Stained carpets !"
For a 4 star hotel, very disappointed. The room we had been allocated had a large unsightly stain on the carpet just in front of the bathroom door. We asked to be moved to another room. The second room was no better. There were what looked very much like bloodstains on the carpet beside the bed, the lampshade was broken and the light didn't work. I wondered why I had been given a room with disabled or elderly aids. My sons room was beside lift shaft so they could hear the lift going up and down for most of the night. Also it says nothing on Hotel details to suggest that you may have to wait up to an hour to access Cloud 23 Bar, one of the main reasons for staying. "Great location, great views"
On check-in we were offered a reasonable chargeable upgrade to an Exec room, which we took. Room was a good size and offered great views across the city. The Cloud23 bar is worth a visit, though annoyingly only accessible via a special lift on the ground floor. Service was fantastic and they offered some unusual cocktails to try while you stared out […] across the city from the floor to ceiling height windows. Breakfast food quality was mediocre and I expected more choice, but pleasant enough in other regards. I would return if the price was right as it's in a great location. "Awful stay"
As a couple we visit Manchester a lot, we usually stay at the Malmaison or with friends. For the weekend of 16/17 Feb we chose the Hilton instead. We hadn't visited the Cloud 23 bar before so were keen to check it out on the night of our stay. We paid over £200 for one night at the hotel, it was Valentines weekend so think this pushed prices up. We […] arrived to be told the concierge was full and we had to park elsewhere. We weren't helped with our bags or welcomed at all. We asked about Cloud 23 bar and were told we had to queue with everyone else. We weren't told upon booking the room we had to reserve a table so hadn't done so; we also know others have stayed there and were told guests have access to a separate lift; we were told this wasn't the case by the receptionist and there was one way up only. The room itself was nice with a lovely view but unbearably hot! It was uncomfortable to get ready in and the air con was pathetic. By the time we got down to the foyer the queue for Cloud 23 was out of the door, so we never visited it which I was very disappointed about. I had about 2 hours sleep as the room was stifling. I had called the hotel as soon as the booking was confirmed and requested an early (midday) check-in. On arrival, the early check-in was not on the system. "Lovely hotel, enjoyable stay!"
The hotel was gorgeous and really well cleaned etc, staff were very nice and helpful. The only issues we really had were that the hotel was a bit of a walk from some places in town such as Piccadilly Gardens and the Printworks area but it wasn't so far that it wasn't do-able. This is a physically impressive hotel and at the higher end of Hilton standards. All the staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast was worth the extra cash. The hotel is a bit out of the main city centre but the free bus means its only a problem at night. Do visit the people's museum a reminder from history that the Tory party is the party of the […] rich. One downside of the stay is that wifi is charged in the room at rip off rates. This was a convenient location, easy to get to, and to visit central Manchester. The hotel is very modern and clean, the room spacious and the cocktail bar on the 23rd floor attractive. The only real negative of our stay was that the hotel was cold. It was 2 deg C outside, so not too cold, but our room, the restaurant and lobby areas were all cold. "Perfect location for what I needed"
Positiontioned perfectly along deansgate. Staff were very helpful when I was collecting my things from my car to bring into hotel, concierge service was full but they were still very helpful. Ice and shoe cleaners on every floor which I thought was a nice touch and the bar on 23rd floor is very nice, but after I left the hotel and had a few drinks and […] tried to enter again, I was told "no" as I was too drunk - bit annoying as I wasn't and had left a previous bar earlier to drink here. My stay was alright. However, at Check-out on the 10 Jan morning, I was told that the hotel had had a system error when they were scanning my card at check in on the 07 Jan afternoon to take a " hold" amount for any "incidentals" incurred during our stay.I was quite shocked as no prior information was given me. No one had informed me about this during […] our stay. It transpired that they had "charged" my card 19 times for an amount of GBP 150. This amounted to GBP 2,850/-. This with other previous amounts charged to this card had now exceeded my allowed credit and my card was now put on "hold by the card comapany. The hotel assured me that they would advise the card company to reverse these entries, but up to today 13 Jan my card is still blocked. I have been on numerous calls to both the hotel and my card company but have not had any success. This has put me into a lot of inconvenience and of course a waste of time and effort. The indifference and non professional attitute of the hotel is amazing. No offer of any compensation for this mistake of theirs has yet been offered. Crazy bathroom design with frosted window to the bedroom so if you are in the room with somebody else and they turn the bathroom light on during the night the whole room light up. I told the receeptionist that I would really like to book a table as we had dinner reservations made, he insisted it was not necessary. "Hilton Manchester Deansgate"
This was absolutely fine- there are just elements that could be better, mostly associated with building design rather than anything the staff could do. These are things the hotel could easily put right and get a 5 rating. The small issues (but which detract from a 5 star hotel) are (a) There were no coat hooks in the main bedroom , so wet coats had […] to be put in the wardrobe (b) there was no full length mirror in any position near natural light, or where you could stand a reasonable distance from it (c) the arrangement of sockets didn’t really match the room layout (eg no socket next to bed) (d) the wardrobe doors were noisy to close- they didn’t have soft close and the pads on the frame to stop the noise were not sufficient (e) the bathroom is designed with a white glass window that faces into the bedroom next to the bed. This was fine and provided natural light to the bathroom (borrowed from the bedroom) but it also meant that if you put the bathroom light on at night, that this also lit the bedroom- a blind on the bedroom side would have solved this problem. Other small issues: The bathroom door didn’t close properly, and the gents wc in the main hotel lobby didn’t have a working lock on the cubicle, showing some maintenance issues. The breakfast was fine, although not better than in a budget hotel. Again the room design created some issues with the flow of the service. "Beware the upsell"
I booked some time ago for a night's stay fopr the company xmas party. I got as great deal using Hotels.com and managed to use my points to get a free night, all well and good. However when I checked in, the young man in reception advised me that I couldn't have my double room as they only had twins OR I could upgrade to an executive room for just £25. […] I insisted I got the room I booked so he checked and one would be available in 30 minutes. I needed my room NOW and insisted they upgrade me for free as they could not provide what I had paid for and blow me, 2 rooms suddenly became available, just like that!
