super hotel , nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit a cet hotel , mais par rapport aux prix pretiqué sur la cote c'etait un super rapport qualite prix ,

Endroit parfait : en face de la mer et à quelques minutes à pied de restaurants très intéressants sur le "Wharf" (ponton). Dommage que nous n'y ayons passé qu'une nuit (les deux parents et les deux grands enfants) !

L'hotel est en plein centre mais le double vitrage même sur le patio n'est pas très efficace car ils font la Fiesta dans ce quartier. Hotel moderne et propre.

pacific grove est vraiment un lieu privilégié et cet hotel particulierement bien situé, permet d'en profiter au mieux. on peut aller à la plage à pieds découvrir une trés belle côte, des biches traversent la rue, le petit dejeuner est correct, la propreté, l'accueil tout autant.

"big mistake"
Dirty dirty dirty. Worst sleep I've ever had due to the domestic violence in another room. Parties in the parking lot. Loud music. People coming & going at odd hours. Did I mention dirty??? We actually went to cvs & blunt a can of lysol disinfectant spray and drenched the room. Never again am I staying there let alone recommending this place to my friends […] & family!!!!! "You get what you pay"
The staff is nice but rooms are basically you get what you pay for. Not enough towels prvided and there was no breakfast included. If you are looking for a cheep place to sleep this place is ok.
"motel santa cruz, better than I thought"
The motel was pretty nice! I was there with a friend and we had a great time, no problems at all. The staff was nice too. I'd definitely stay there again.
I would rather sleep in my car and save the money..

Still itching from bad bed bugs one week later. Not a great area, not great walking distance to anywhere, poor amenities and rooms. Felt a tad third world. Very dissappointing & WOULD NOT recommend to anyone - not even for 1 night stopover! & certainly not for any longer.
Our first room had a broken TV and was very short on space - so they gave us another room which was much roomier and the TV worked! The street was noisy outside and the beds were not very comfortable
"Great location, but I wouldn't go back"
The room was costly for what it was. I've had nicer rooms at embassy suites for the same price. The linen was a polyester blend and I itched all night. Other than the location, it's notvtgsr great of a hotel. Surrounding hotels have in room jacuzzis and cost less. Definitely staying st one of the other ones next time
"Motel Santa Cruz - extremely overpriced"
The only good thing I have to say about this place is that they had a room available when we needed it. Drunk, potsmoking guests, seedy area, not so clean. Go somewhere else!

The inside was 10X worse than the outside. Just to mention a few items there was hair on the pillows, the sheets were dirty, and there was holes in the wall...ewwww, eeeewwww! Slept in my car instead!

This Hotel was way to expensive for all the horrible things about it. The people at the front desk didnt speak english. I ordered a non smoking queen room and got a smoking room with I guess you might call a queen but didnt feel like a queen felt like a full. WE walk into the room and there were covered paint spot where holes resided then walked into […] the bathroom lets just say you would never want to use there bathroom. There was a hole in the door and a whole in the wall where you sit on the toilet. Then in the shower there was used soap bar still in the shower so it had not been cleaned. I went to put the towel on the floor to clean up the water the dog drank from and there was makeup all over the towel and the girl who came to bring us new towels said "No its clean you put it on the floor no new towel just put on floor". Then she rolled her eyes at us when we told her about the soap in the shower and she said shower clean its just stains from shower. I did not shower in that place bugs could of came out for all I know. The room smelled so bad when we went to open the window there was no screen so people could of just came in and robbed us. It is a good thing we brought our own blankets because the ones they have had not been washed they stunk so bad it make you want to throw up. WE went to use our tv and the remote doesn't work so you have to use the buttons on the TV which I can live with but still very inconvenient. I wish I could get my money back so bad or a cheaper rate it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would never recommend this place. The only good thing about this place is you could see the boardwalk from our side other then that it was nasty oh and they accept dogs good thing only reason why we stayed there. Lisez la suite

bad hotel...was scared to stay there deadbolt was broken off like somebody had busted the door in...room wasnt advirtised correctly...was a dump...do not go there...i could have stayed at my other hotel for 5 dollars more but wanted to try something different ...ugh...waste of money

"Location ok"
Well the pictures on the website do not accurately represent the room interiors, to say the least. The bed in our room must have been 20 - 30 plus years old with springs literally sticking up. No tv remote. Major overhaul is needed. Holes in the drapes. Only 2 bath towels per room. Funky and old pillows. Not even the price will bring me back to this […] motel. Owners - spend some money and put in some elbow grease and make your place rentable. Afterall you call it Motel Santa Cruz...Shouldn't it reflect better on the community..? Lisez la suite
First of all make sure that u check well on the hotel. They were others hotels that I could've pick, for about twenty dollars more nd nicer.

Typical of one of those hotels--unfortunately too many these days--in which all that interests the host is getting his/her money. No effort or money put into improvement. Despite advertisement, no continental breakfast. No shampoo, no cleanex, no hand towels, rock hard single pillow. Easy to break into by removing screen.

DISGUSTING. Hair in the bed sheets, felt crusty the blanket smelled. The carpet looked filthy. The toilet seat had cracks all over it. The head board was so old and had engravings carved into it. We were there an hour looking for different hotels online. The owner yelled at me to get out that he wasnt going to give me a refund. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. extremely […] rude. Honestly wouldve rathered to sleep in my car for 3 nights than stay there. We got a refund through hotels.com thankfully. We stayed at the unniversity inn. "Rude"
Rude people very unorganized after two days stay they moved us out of the closet they put us in and into a real room. Banging on the door before check out demanding we vacate in five minutes even though we had another night pre paid. this place sucks.

Room smelled, beding had cigarete burn holes. When asked if they had ice machine, was told yes on 2nd floor and they handed me a pastic bag, looked like what my newspaper comes in on a rainy day :( Dont waste your good $$$
"Slum Lords!"
The worst hotel in Santa Cruz, the sheets were durty, the bed was falling apart, and the door to the room would not close all the way. When asked for a refund they refused. NEVER NEVER USE THIS MOTEL. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.

"Motel Santa Cruz on Ocean St & Broadway"
Our stay would have been perfect if it were not for 2 major reasons: (1) there were only 2 bath towels in the bathroom. No bath mat, no face towels, no hand towels. (2) the telephone was not working so we had to get out of the room just to talk to the front office clerk about this matter. reason: they were still doing some laundry. (3) the day clerk […] knocked on our door at 10am to remind us that check out time is at 11am. that was the only time they gave us extra bath towels. she didn't even offer us to stay an extra hour or so given the fact that we got to out hotel at 11pm. even so, she should have offered but nothing. she was not at all pleasant or probably having a bad day but seemed like she was we were at fault or something. really bad customer service.
