The Eldorado was a fine place for the money. As far as the mirrored ceilings, my room didn't have it. I did manage to find one that was open being cleaned by the maid service. It was curious, but it wouldn't have bothered me. I have friends in the area so I'll be staying there again.

The hotel advertised transfers to the cruise ship pier and free parking for 10 days. Extended parking was available at $5 per day. Upon checking in we were told the transfers were only to the pier, not return. We would have to take a txi back to the hotel. The assigned room had a faulty toilet and when we complained to the manager he brought up a plunger […] for us to use. When I asked how you turned on the exhaust fan for the bathroom he said it was automatic. Ours automaticly did not work and the shower was mouldy so we asked for another room. The new room was clean and every thing worked. We though the service was terrible and the hotel is in obviously in need of repair. I would not recomend this hotel even though they allow you to park during a cruise. Lisez la suite

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is a very convenient, cost efficient place to stay. The rooms are very decent. The lack of the availability of smoking rooms is one of the few things I can say wasn't the best. Otherwise I enjoyed the fact that the rooms have excellent flat screens and plenty of cable channels throughout. The rooms also […] come with refridgerators and microwaves, which is nice. I've noticed some expensive hotel rooms don't even have those. The beds aren't always the most comfortable, depending on which room you get. My last visit was also last minute so we didn't get the room we originally requested/reserved, but the service was appreciated and we still had a decent place to lay our heads. This is my "go-to" hotel when I need a place to stay and I can expect what I will get, which is satisfaction. Lisez la suite

Ok, so my room had mirrors on the ceiling and walls and I thought I had time traveled into the 70's. It seemed like a joke. However, it was one of the most comfortable beds I had slept in, the room was very clean and it was extremely quiet.

Park and Cruise special was just as advertised except they tried to say it was changed from up to 21 days and charge us an additional charge They backed down when we pointed out the deal was up to 21 days when we booked. The free shuttle to the cruise port at San Pedro was free and easy to use. We were gone 14 days and our car was fine and there was […] no problems. The trip back from the cruise port was about twenty dollars by taxi. The printed in-room info still said could park free for up to 21 days for free. So double check. Lisez la suite

Everything was satisfactory.

The corner rooms are huge and spacious, hotel receptionists was awsome and kind and gave us an extra bed for the extra people we had in the room. Didnt eat breakfast there cause we didn't have time. Parking kinda sucks but all and all i would give this entire hotel a rating of 3.8 of 5

Hotel looked clean but when you walk around in the room your feet where black on the bottom pipes make alot of noise. Rooms need alot of repair. If your going on a cruise the location is alright for the price. would not stay longer than one night. may never go back there again.

We didn't expect alot considering the low price but we were disappointed to find that in our opinion the 2.5 rating was not merited. This hotel is at the most a 2 star hotel. The reception desk staff were very friendly and the room was spacious but sparsely furnished. The table was small with only one chair and the towels were very rough, no decor to […] give it a homie atmosphere.If you are on a budget and the niceties aren't too important this hotel will do. It was verry convinient for our needs.

Hotel has issues. No blow dryer in room. They made me go get it. When I got there was an unhappy customer demanding his money back.

Good servce, front desk very nice and responsive. Entire parking lot on a good camera system. room was fine met our needs good central location, close to Long Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes Torrance & Redondo Beach. at a great price, wish the hot tub would have been cleaner. remodeled room and bath.

is very nice place,near to everything about 5 miles of many places.

I booked the room because of the pool the pool was dirty and the hot tub was had dirty water that smelled really bad

Interesting mirrors on the ceiling.

I had some trouble accessing the Internet even after the girl at the front desk helped me.

all was well but the ac leaked all over the carpet and got everything wet

Had problems with wifi and the tv right away. Maid service didn't occur until the afternoon. The jacuzzi by the pool wasn't working, and the complimentary breakfast was not very good. Wouldn't stay there again.

A nice comfortable short stay. Staff where Helpful and the pool was Cosy one thing that creeped us out a little was the mirrors on the ceiling but other than that great value for money.

The 1st room i had i could not get internet service inside. One of the beds was broke in the middle. no iron in the room. i had to pay for ice.

Had a good stay, but just make sure you check their rates for the stay and leave your car for any cruise you are taking.

Large rooms nicely decorated - ours had rather interesting mirrors above and next to the bed! Used their laundry room which was convenient, breakfast buffet was fairly sparse and no trays to carry back to room. Otherwise lived up to expectations, would stay there again.

Nice motel. We took this motel based on reader input of saving $15 dollars a day at the dock parking garage. True, the motel gave us a ride to the ship for only $20 extra. But the only taxi cabs are allowed to bring us back from the shop- some law that does not want all the hotel vans waiting around at the curb. The continental breakfast was pitiful. It was toast and donuts and some processed snacks. Coffee was way too weak. The pool and jacuzzi were not kept up at all. The television was to the side of the beds, which made it difficult to watch TV. It took the shower 3-5 minutes to heat up and the water pressure was terrible. The hotel was good value for the money and it was clean. We were staying there to go on a cruise the next day. We were charged $16.00 for their van to take us to the cruise terminal, which I fee they should have included. The continental breakfast was poor!

the hotel was clean and comfortable, the employees were polite and professional, and the room was clean and comfortable, and i felt comfortable leaving my car in the lot, as it seemed secure and safe

Motel was close to where I was visiting in Lomita, Harbor City, Torrance and Redondo Beach. Parking access was convenient. My room was larger than expected with nice accomodations including TV, microwave, refrigerator and table. The bathroom appeared newly remodeled as well as countertops. Bed was excellent as were the room darkening curtains. Continental […] (Plus) breakfast provided in the lobby in the morning. Based on others reviews, we chose this hotel to stay in for one night for my two children and myself. The rooms were spacious and the location was decent. But after spending time in the room, it started to "feel yucky". There was a bug in one of the beds we discovered in the morning, the floors did not appear to be clean, and the bathroom smelled funny. […] Cheap hotel, good location, but I wouldn't stay here again. We decided to get a hotel at the last minute the night before a wedding in San Pedro. This hotel was 15 minutes from the venue and they were very kind to give us a late check out. The double room was large and comfortable. Well, I checked in with a guy receptionist at that time and he was very hospitable and helpful. I got there around 10:30 am because according to hotels.com that the check-in time is 10:00am but actually it should be at 11:00 am which is more reasonable for them to clean before another new guest comes in. But anyways, he still gave us the key card for […] the hotel room. The hotel room and bathroom was clean. Maintenance seems to be well kept. A/C has some wear and tear but it still works perfectly fine so it's not a problem. The flat screen TV looks so new. There's a working microwave and refrigerator in the room. There mirrors on the ceiling, on 2 sides of the bed (by the head and left side) which makes the room look bigger. I really don't mind it but for some people who are superstitious about sleeping with mirrors everywhere is not good. I just hope those mirrors are just mirrors without anything suspicious like those during an investigation with someone and someone or something else is behind those mirrors kind of situation. First of all, this is a MOTEL not a HOTEL. The place is very ghetto. Don’t let the pictures fool you. We checked into our room and it not only smelled, but the peephole was missing in the door so anyone passing could look into the room. We changed rooms but that room had GRAPHITTI writing on the mirrors! We went back to the original room and was given […] a piece of tape to cover the peephole. I also need to mention that the décor is very old, dated, and depressing. The next day we put the DO NOT DISTURB on the door as we needed to walk to the CVS next door to get some spray for the room and had our valuables left out. We came back and our room had been cleaned even though we did not want the room messed with at all. We complained and were told that the sign didn’t matter and it would probably happen again. We went swimming in the small pool in the back and had a couple of friends who were in the area visit us. They were not swimming or in bathing suits nor were they loud. The manager ran over to us and said he was going to call the police on us if we did not leave the motel. I showed him our room key to show that we were motel guests and not only did he NOT apologize, but he was still really rude. Our stay was completely ruined at this point and they did not want to give us a refund. If you’re a pimp, this “hotel” might be good for you, otherwise, there are plenty of other hotels and motels nearby. You should stay at one of those. I like to check into hotels for the weekend every once in a while for a cheap romantic get-a-way. I'd rather pay more for a better place than to ever return to this ill-run dump. Lisez la suite

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel was much nicer than we expected. The only down side was that the pool and jacuzzi were not working. Aside from that, there is a CVS right next door and food very close by. We have young kids who love McDonalds and it is pretty close to there too. We picked this place for the price and proximity to Hollywood, […] Anaheim and beaches and all were within about a 20 minute distance during non-rush hour times. I needed a last minute stay and after review, others had stated this was in a decent neighborhood. My other top priorities were price and location close to the Long Beach Arena. We were assured over the phone our rooms would be available if we arrived late. We drove in from Las Vegas and the room was available. My apologies to the night clerk for being […] grouchy with him! Our room was on the 3rd floor, so we did not hear any noise from others. The rooms are part of an obviously older motel, but are large. The sliding glass doors to the closet were completely off, but the fact was not even a problem to us, we just needed a place to sleep at night. The rooms had been refurbished with craftman-style headboards, nightstand, and dresser/entertainment center in dark brown wood/laquer that was attractive. It had what looked like a 45 in Vizo flat screen HD tv and a fair sized fridge. The bathroom/dressing area had a microwave, but no coffemaker. The bathroom had a new backsplash and curved curtain rod, and a modest but nice array of 2-1 shampoo and soap and towels. Our rooms were cleaned and fresh towels provided every day. They have coffee and doughnuts in the office but we wanted a more substantial breakfast and were off to the nearby MC Donalds each morning anyways. I would have praised them more if the bed had not been hard as a rock...even my sister, who is very slender and can sleep on anything, woke up each day with a few knots. I would have been a little happier with a coffee maker and more comfortable mattresses instead of the HD tv, IMHO. Lisez la suite

Far better than I expected in this price range. My only requirements were that my room be clean and comfortable. I checked in a couple of hours early, yet they accomidated me with no aditional charges.
