Nous avons réservé cet hotel avec un ami en tenant compte du rapport prix/emplacement et nous ne nous attendions pas à atterrir dans un endroit de ce standing. Ce qui s'est avéré plutôt agréable. Rien à redire sur la propreté des chambres ou de la salle de bain. Le petit-déjeuner aussi était très bien. Le seul éventuel bémol sont les travaux actuels à proximité de l'hôtel qui n'offrent pas franchement un cadre enchanteur...

Hotel très bien tenu. Les patrons et le personnel sont très agréables. Hotel confortable est silencieux, qui s'inscrit parfaitement dans le décors de la ville. Les chambres vous plonge dans un autre temps, et vous dispose à l'ambiance général de la vieille ville. Charme, confort, propreté et accueil définissent parfaitement cet établissement.

Mon amie et moi avons payé cette chambre 25€ la nuit pour 2 personnes grâce à Hotels.com. Presque donné!!! Alors forcément, cet hôtel ne mérite pas vraiment ses 4 étoiles (ce serait plus un 2-3 étoiles en France), mais nous en étions très contentes!! Nous recherchions quelque chose de facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport (bus 119 direct, en une vingtaine de minutes), et d'agréable. Les lits sont très confortables, tout est propre, et le petit-déjeuner est un vrai festin! Je pense avoir déjà rentabilisé le prix de la chambre, rien qu'en petit-déjeuner! Après, ce n'est pas un hôtel dans lequel on se prélassera toute la journée, ce n'est pas très joli. Centre-ville à 20minutes à pieds.

Au cœur de la ville, les bâtiments historiques de Stare Mesto sont très bien préservés. Le point central est la place principale pavée, où se tiennent le monument à Jan Hus, le vieil hôtel de ville et son horloge astronomique et les flèches gothiques de Notre-Dame de Týn. Le pont Charles, orné d'une galerie de statues de saints, relie la vieille ville à Mala Strana.

L'hôtel était très sympathique en ce qui concerne la chmabre avec du vieux parquet au sol et un mobilier assez chaleureux. La situation près de la place principale de Prague est également très intéressante! Mais le personnel n'est franchement pas très accueillant et peu souriant. En plus, il y avait des travaux à notre étage très tôt le matin... (il […] y avait des chambres libres sur d'autres étages alors pourquoi nous avoir mis à celui-ci?!). Pas d'ascenseur pour 3 étages très hauts, dommage ! Pas de volets occultants la lumière du jour Globalement moyen mais sa situation en plein coeur de la vielle ville est idéale. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre ne donnant pas sur la rue (très touristique) donc calme mais je ne sais pas si c'est le cas pour toutes les chambres. Le service […] de prise en charge à l'aéroport (vers l'hotel) n'a pas fonctionné d'ou environ une heure d'attente et le taxi qui nous a abandonné dans les rues piétonnes avec une mauvaise indication de trajet. Dans la salle de bains il y avait une odeur d'égouts. Meme s'il y avait une bouche d'aération, l'odeur persistait. Nous l'avons signalé à la réception, mais cela n'a rien changé. Arrivés à l'hotel vers 11h30, j'ai demandé s'il était possible d'avoir une chambre au 3è étage ;on m'a dit que oui. De retour à l'hotel vers 14h,on m'a dit qu'il y avait un problème de réparation?? et nous avons été logés dans "les appartements Pushkin" au 1er étage , au croisement de la rue Karlova et Husova. L'etablissement est idealement situé rue karlova qui vous mène directement d'un coté à la place principale du vieux prague et ses monuments et de l'autre coté au pond Charles et de […] là à Mala Strana et au chateau. "Pretty grim experience"
Well this trip didn't start well. Turned up at 10pm, only to discover Check-in closes at 9.45pm. When I say check-in you actually pick up the key from the video shop next door. A fact hidden away in the email from Hotels.com. Had I known at the time of booking I would have looked elsewhere. So this cost me an extra night in a hotel nearby. The hotel was in a great location, under 5 minute walk to Old Town Square and Orloje, and a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The food was okay and you get a 20% discount at the restaurant as a hotel guest. The staff was not as friendly as I would've liked, but they weren't rude either. When we finally found the hotel, we were very pleased with the location (in the middle of the old town) reception was a stand-alone desk at the rear of a restaurant of the same name. Directions provided by the staff to the car park were horrid and misleading. The room was huge. It appears the building is very old, the rooms basically are as is. The […] windows didn't close properly, the furniture looked like it was from an auction house, it did not match the room at all, the safe did not work and the noise filtering up from the street was obtrusive until about 2 am. Each time we walked through the restaurant to get to our room we were accosted in an attempt to have us eat there, to the point we were regularly questioned as to why we were there if we weren't eating a meal. The TV didn't work probably due to the fact that coax cable was missing...pointed out to the staff who shrugged their shoulders. Appears Restaurant first, hotel second. "Good location, unique rooms"
The hotel staff was friendly and we were checked in relatively quickly even though we had eight people across two rooms show up two hours before official check-in time. As you ascend the old wooden stairs, you quickly see that the building is quite unique and every room is a bit different. Our room was a beautifully decorated pair (yes, two!) of 20x20 […] rooms with 12ft ceilings separated by a gigantic set of pocket doors. The main bedroom was extremely spacious even with a couch, love seat, chair, tv, and wood burning stove in the mix. Though the bathroom and its facilities lacked a bit in modernization, the majestic presentation and size of the rooms more than made up for it. One step right out the door and you're right in the mix of things by the Old Town Square. Absolutely everything is within walking distance of this hotel. I would definitely recommend this to others. One unique thing that may throw you off is that you have to enter through the restaurant to get into the hotel. Also, it gets a little rowdy late at night between 1am and 3am out on the street as people venture home after a few pilsners...the windows are pretty good at dampening sound, but you'll hear a few drunken cheers at any hotel around Old Town in the middle of the night. Well we stayed three nights, and on the third morning, the shower was out if water for about ten minutes.... But the place was clean, comfortable, reasonable amenities- the television didn't work, no mini bar, but there is a safe. The folks in reception are helpful, breakfast is reasonable considering it's free (the croissants weren't cooked all the way, but there were eggs, bacon, sausage, hard boiled eggs, and other options which were tasty). Overall, the place is good for its price, especially considering it is absolutely in the heart of the shopping district, but I wouldn't recommend the attached restaurant. "Good location, terrible hotel"
At first glance, this hotel seems to be in a great location for a decent price. The first night we stayed, our room was comfortable, quiet, and while it was a bit warm, the hotel provided us with a fan so it wasn't unbearably hot. The next night our room was changed, and the experience was miserable. There is no elevator, so we lugged our bags up the […] stairs, only to find a stifling hot room with no fan. We called the front desk to request one, but the staff were entirely unhelpful, and basically told us there was nothing they could do, despite the fact that there were fans in other rooms, and in the lobby. The new room was also toward the front of the hotel, and I can sleep through a lot, but the noise was relentless. Carts kept going across the cobblestone and drunken tourists at surrounding cafes kept us awake all night long. Between the 95 degree heat, lack of air, and the noise, we did not get a wink of sleep, which is not ideal when traveling internationally the next day. We were in the summer and there is no air conditioning or fan, and is really hot, we asked for a fan but they didn't have one. Parking is about a mile from the hotel and it cost $34 additional for 24 hours. If you like motel 8 or hostels then you would love this hotel but if you like Marriott you will hate this hotel. "Location location location!"
Location location location! Literally 2 mins from Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square to you and me!) and Pražský hrad (Charles Bridge) so is a perfect base for your stay in Prague. Very ver tny easy to get to as well, take the 119 bus from the airport to Djevica metro station then take the green line (A) 3 stops to Staroměstské and it's a quick 5/10 […] navigation through the streets, The hotel suited me fine, as a single traveller who uses it literally as a base. It was perfectly clean and suitable but it certainly wasn't the most modern or up to date hotel. The hotel uses old school keys rather than keycards and is in quite a busy little corner, with a restaurant outside so coudl be noisy (especially when there is an event on at Old Town Sq) and whilst the staff were helpful, they were a little quiet and brooding! The lift worked fine but looks a frightening prospect for anyone with clostrophobia. My room on the 7th floor was rather lovely, with a nice big low bed and old school wooden furniture and, as said, was a perfect base for a 30 year old who used it for sleeping, showering and being close to the action. However, the safe did not work and the bathroom was coved due to being on the top floor, meaning the shower was not fixed and was a little tricky to use so ask for a lower floor if you're less mobile/flexible as me!
