Bon motel pour une étape, spacieux, bien entretenu, au calme, le service y est professionnel et agréable. On appréciera la piscine et le jacuzzi chauffés et le petit déjeuner suffisant pour commencer une bonne journée. Les environs ne présentent pas de grand intérêt si ce n'est pour la restauration rapide. Voiture indispensable!

très bon état général, les environs ne sont pas fameux mais tous les motels sont au même niveau sur ce point là. La salle de bain comprend seulement les toilettes et une baignoire, le lavabo est dans la pièce principale avec un évier en plus ce qui n'est pas très pratique. le confort de l’hôtel est très bien, la pièce est assez grande mais seulement pour une nuit car il n'y a rien d’intéressant dans la ville. l'accueil est tres satisfaisant.

L'accueil était sympathique, la chambre était propre et grande, seul bémol le petit déjeuner avec seulement des beignets et des gauffres à faire soi-même... mais trois restaurants sont disponibles à proximité (In and out, Denny's et Quizznos sub) Bien dans l'ensemble et très près de l'autoroute ce qui donne l'avantage de partir très vite vers notre destination finale (dans mon cas Los Angeles en 1h30-2h).

"My home away from home"
I stay at this hotel in Bakersfield 2-3 times a week 4 months out of the year. The staff nnow me by name and what my preferences are. The staff makes you feel welcome.
"Fine for Business, wouldn't recommend for vacation"
Extremely business focused hotel on outskirts of Bakersfield. Clean, comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast, but very little in the area for vacationers. Woken a few times in the night with aircraft and freight train noise and room walls seem a little thin. "Horrible Bed - Amazing Service"
The hotel staff was very accomodating and very helpful. The room was clean and neat, but the shower leaked all over the floor and the bed was one of the worst I've ever slept in. I suppose you could say that it was all so misleading and led to a terrible nights sleep and the breakfast in the morning was little more than a joke - toast, juice and watery […] waffles anyone? Pass. The saving grace was the Denny's in 5 minutes walking distance. Otherwise, on top of not sleeping, we would have starved as well. Lisez la suite

"Good Value"
The room was very clean. And, while smoking is permitted in some rooms, there was no telltale order in our room. The staff was friendly. This facility compares very favorably with similarly priced facilities. If I had a complaint, it is that the internet access to our room was pretty weak, but this is not a big deal for us. And I could probably have […] gotten a better signal in the lobby, or I could have used a hard wire hookup, which was available in the room. I hate having to come to Bakersfield but I do every few months and this hotel is the only happy thing on my list. It's clean, comfortable the staff are always helpful and freindly.

I travel to Bakersfield for work so I've stayed in quite a few hotels there. La Quinta North is my favorite. I like the location, cleanliness of the hotel, and especially the friendly staff.
Good, nice, clean hotel with polite staff. Indoor hotel, continental breakfast, and location close to airport is a definite plus for travelers.

I like La Quinta Inn and Suites. This one in N. Bakersfield is very nice and the desk staff was superb, especially Susan. She was helpful in providing directions and addresses, very helpful and professional.
La Quinta Inn and Suites in North Bakersfield on Spectrum Highway was everything that I was looking for. Our room was clean and neat and nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Even the employees were all pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We had a very pleasant stay there. And the price was right.

The service was excellent. We were traveling some distance and the refrigerator in the room was small so we contacted the front desk and they were able to store out food and put out cold packs in their freezer! Excellent service and good breakfast.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. ONly down side...full sized beds. Very hard to fit two people comfortable in a full size bed, even though the bed itself was comfortable. This is a wonderful property for the price. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, and waffles as well as yogurt, juice, and fruit.

"Nice People"
This hotel fit the occasion. I needed a quick, clean, cheap, and comforatable hotel for the evening prior to a cycling race. This one fit the requirement very well and allowed our pup to be a visitor as well.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and I don't understand why it only rates 2 1/2 stars. The rooms are large, well-appointed, and excrutiatingly clean. All hotel staff are friendly, courteous and very professional. The bathrooms have large tubs, high shower heads with plenty of hot water, and the sinks have large, granite counter tops. […] The complimentary breakfast is well-stocked with both hot and cold fare. I travel extensively and routinely stay at 4 and 5 star hotels throughout the US and the world, where granted, the common areas are more fashionably decorated and more services are available, but when it comes to a clean, well-appointed, comfortable room you can't beat this particular La Quinta in good old Bakersfield, CA. "Great new hotel"
Some of the La Quintas are bad and old but the La Quintas Inn & Suites are usually nice and new. This is really new, great place, clean, and I have stayed here a few times. THere are only a few places to eat around but are good. Staff pretty good, nothing bad or overly good.

We have noticed that there are more businesses around the area now, which helps give you a variety of food choices. Staff was very helpful and friendly, Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is not convenient to restuarants other than a local Dennys. Need to drive 3-5 miles to find decent eating places
