It is the best place to stay in Odessa. It just is up to date for the most part and it is close, very close to everything. Safe pick. Still needs a gym to speak of.

Was here for my second visit to Odessa. I went back to this hotel as it was so central to the city and yet again a great time. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was always friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again. Many thanks to all the staff.

Great hotel, great service, excellent food, very good breakfast and service. My only problem was my electric transformer blew a fuse, and the hotel couldn't help. My fault. Beautiful furnishings in the hotel. Loved it. Would go back.

Great hotel on very nice and safe location, very very friendly staff, very good service, very good and clean rooms, a little to small shower cabine (economy room), very very good restaurant (though expensive, related to local standards). We absolutely come back.

The room and staff were fantastic. There is just one small improvement was the size of the bathroom could of had an extra 18 inches. But every thing was new and very nice. The staff is very helpful and the food was very good.

Rooms were very small Shower was very very small Internet was very weak In spite of paying in full to Hotels.com I was asked to pay extra US $ 80 for tourism tax.

Nice hotel. Location is great - a short walk everywhere and just a few blocks from the opera house. Friendly and helpful staff with adequate English skills. I spent a weekend with my girlfriend at this hotel. Having never been to Odessa previously, I wanted a nice hotel close to the centre. I can only say that this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff in reception, the dining room and security were always courteous and polite. The atmosphere was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble when we asked […] for assistance. Even checking out at 0500 was not a problem for them. I will return to Odessa for sure, and I will return and stay at this hotel. It was a pleasure and thank-you to all at the Continental. Very quiet, yet central and attractive location. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Good-sized, clean room. Good choice at breakfast - hot food cooked to order.

Over-priced for the standard and quailty,staff were pleasant and helpful although they did try to charge for a missing towel when I was checking out,claiming I left it in the gym!Never knew the hotel had a gym!!!The previous day I witnessed another guest being charged for something he denied having used!!!

The hotel is very centrally located - I walked everywhere except the Arcadia area. The staff was very pleasant and helpful arranging transportation. The room was a good size, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was complete. The on-site fitness area was small but adequate.

Excellent service and location. The hotel is located within a five minute walk of everywhere you would want to go. The staff was fabulous and attentive. Very friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff, very caring and most speak a little English which is so needed in this city. The rooms are large and very comfortable however they could use a micorwave and coffee machine like all American/Canadian Hotles large and small have. It is nice to be able to have a little something to eat and drink in your room that you do not have to go […] to the Hotel Restaurant for. Ukraine is not known for its great hotels service, they say something is up to Western standards and most often even the 4 star hotels cannot come close, however the Continental Business Hotel certainly does rate a Ukrainian 4, maybe in USA not but they try real hard. Breakfast is great and the selection as it is included in your price of room is excellent. […] The could work on make the hotel a little more in the eara of 2011 but so far the renovations are pretty good, The staff is the best I have had in a long time. Usually Ukraine people in the service idustry have no idea of what Customer service and Hospitality is about but this hotel is trying real hard........but it is still Eastern Europe and will always be and things wont change until politics change. I loved the hotel staff and hospitality!!! The room was and hotel was very clean and fully stocked at all times. The food was very delicious with lots of variety for all tastes. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and always willing to help. Just about perfect - the only thing that was not of too much concern was the lack of comfort in bed […] - I am used to a foam memory mattress and the spring mattress was a little uncomfortable on my back. I stayed in 2 hotels during my 15 day stay in Odessa.... the Continental and the Odessa Hotel. (Tour group had me booked in the Odessa Hotel.) The Continental Hotel had a larger room for my first 4 days and then a same size room the last day compared to the Odessa Hotel. The air-conditioning was much, much better in the Continental Hotel. The elevators […] at the Odessa Hotel stopped twice on me in mid - floor during my 10 day stay there so while the elevator at the Continental hotel is small it always worked!! Both hotels had good friendly staff. Food was better at the Continental Hotel as well. Lisez la suite

I'll go back to Odessa, and I'll definitely stay at the Continental again. It's comfortable & ideally situated in this wonderful city, but to be honest I'm sure that there are other hotels that hit the same quality mark. What set it apart for me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (particularly the reception staff), who were intelligent […] and thoughtful, and went out of their way to be helpful, well beyond the norm. As a result, nexst time I'm in Odessa (and I'm already planning my return) I'll not bother to look at other hotel options - I'll be straight back to the Continental. Lisez la suite

Dette var mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, ig som sist var det en meget behagelig opplevelse. Kort vei til masse serverdigheter og ikke minst til å kunne nyte den fantastiske utsikten til Svartehavet. Et ideelt hotell å overnatte på i Odessa.

Flott hotel- sentralt i Odessa

Good English skills among the staff, breakfast is maybe not in par with what could be expected from a 4 star hotel but still good. Staff is very service minded. The Spa is great and private. Very good beds, location could not be better in Odessa. The hotel offers booking to anything a great level of service.

Niets op aan te merken. In tegenstelling tot veel andere hotels in Oekraine is dit hotels op 'westers' kwaliteitsniveau. Wel wat duurder dan gemiddeld (voor lokale begrippen ronduit duur en exclusief) maar uitstekende service, perfect Engels, goede bedden, in centrum van de stad maar toch rustig. 広く天井の高い落ち着いた造りの部屋は、ゆっくりリラックスしながら旅の疲れを癒すことができました。 問題はありませんが、家具や椅子、ユーティリティーの備品等、雑な造りで少し残念でした。

Durch Zufall ergab es sich, dass wir gerade nacheinander zwei Hotels im Zentrum von Odessa buchten, das Continental und das Ayvazovsky, wobei wir jeweils etwa denselben Preis bezahlten - was bedeutet, dass wir im Continental das einfachste Zimmer belegten, im Ayvazovsky ein besseres. Für das Continental spricht der umfangreichere Service (Portier, Business-Center […] etc.), andererseits war das Zimmer klein und die Ambiance beim Frühstück entsprach uns nicht besonders. Fazit: Wer geschäftlich unterwegs ist und an klassischem Hotelservice hängt, ist mit dem Continental gut bedient, ansonsten empfehlen wir das Ayvazovsky. Lisez la suite
