Insolite. Chambre dans un Boeing Jumbo, c'est original même si confort simple, toilettes et douches à l'extérieur (très propres), pas de petite table dans la chambre et pas de porte-manteaux. Bon accueil même tardivement. Très bien pour une nuit.

la principale note négative va aux bruits : en effet, l'isolation de l'hotel n'est pas trés bonne et l'heure du "couvre feu" rarement respectée : l'hotel est relativement bruyant pour les dormeurs. La propreté de la chambre est toute relative, ainsi que celle de la salle de bain commune qui n'est pas nettoyée tous les jours, ce qui est génant.les lits sont trés confortables, la literie et bonne. le petit déjeuner copieux et à volonté est absolument parfait.

"Excellent quality/price ratio, very well situated"
We had quite a difficult time finding not too expensive accomodation WITH WINDOWS in Stockholm for a 4 day week-end. Colonial Hotel turned out to be a good choice: - not too expensive, especially compared to the Stockholm price level - well located, 10min from Central station, 10min from nearest Citybike station - clean room, with all amenities necessary: […] shower/toilet, towels, twin beds (next to each other), tv, etc - free and quick wifi in the room (4Mb dl/ 0.5Mb ul) - ok breakfast (no variation during our stay, but not a bad choice) - kind staff: printed out our boarding cards the last day for free, 24/24 reception Some (minor negatives): - twin beds (but so close that you almost don't notice) - strange elevator - not brand new but still rather clean - definitely more expensive than other cities, but still below Stockholm equivalent pricing Lisez la suite

a notre arrivée la chambre nous a été attribuée alors que le menage n'avait pas été fait.la douche qui etait commune n'etait pas très propre . les lits n'ont pas été faits chaque jour. hotel bruyant malgré cela la chambre etait tout à fait convenable

Hej! Cet hôtel est bien placé car proche de la gare et de Gamla Stan et le quartier est très calme. Notons qu'il n'y a pas d'heure limite pour la porte de l'hôtel. Le prix est très abordable comparé à la moyenne des hôtels de Stockholm! L'accueil est assez rustique mais satisfaisant. Le petit déjeuner compris dans le tarif est à volonté et il y a de […] quoi être rassasié pour de longues journées de tourisme! Les chambres sont petites mais confortables. Seuls petits bémols: les toilettes et douche communs sont contraignants au niveau des horaires car une seule salle d'eau par étage... Deuxièmement, "internet compris" ne veut pas dire wifi mais accès internet à partir du pc de l'accueil donc inutile d'emmener votre portable... Ca reste à mon sens une très bonne affaire, surtout pour les jeunes qui cherchent un peu plus d'intimité qu'en auberge de jeunesse (si vous êtes en couple par exemple)! Adjö! Lisez la suite
"Location good, hotel...not really"
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The location was brilliant, right next to the city center. Unfortunately the hotel itself wasn't that great. Our room had 2 single beds in it, a tv that was so high up on the wall you couldn't see anything and we were accompanied by our great little friends...the bed bugs. For me staying in a hotel is all about being […] able to sleep somewhere in a decent location. The colanial hotel definitely had the location, but I didn't sleep much at all. "a hotel for those not interested in sleeping"
the first two nights we shared the floor with a class of german youths, keeping us awake half the night. The third night it was a group of party girls doing the same thing. There is no isolation against sound, we got a small refund, but concidering our vacation was close to ruined as we slept so poorly, the refund should have been close to total. We […] let the staff know about the problems, was told they would let the youth know they have to be quiet, but this did not help at all (not even convinced they actually spoke to them). I would say that overall this is a very decent hotel. It's in an ideal part of town where where old town is only 15 to 20 mins away walking and the main pedestrian shopping street Dottninger is only 10 minutes away by foot. The view out the windows makes you feel like you are living in Stockholm in an old colonial apartment. The room was comfortable […] and clean. The only complaints are the maintenance. It is a little run down, nothing that really bothered me or affected the stay, but this is really more of a recommendation for the owner to renovate in some areas, for example, the elevator is ancient. Other than that, it was somewhat expensive for College Student for me, but it really wasn't a bad deal if you split the night and especially for its location, it really was decent. Breakfast could be a bit more varied like some more cereals and if some nutella could be provided, would be great. "should be called the broken hotel"
The staff were nice and helpful but there is only so much they can do. We had no hot water (after a week-long hike in the Arctic Circle we were really looking forward to hot water!), the elevator only worked sporadically, the coffee machine was broken, the internet was down...you get my point. "Two LONG nights"
If you like small, this is your place. The bathroom was so small, I had to sit sideways on the toilet because the shower was so close. The room had a bed, small table and one chair. It was clean and close to downtown Stockholm, but that was it's only saving grace.

stayed here for one night whilst on business and the hotel was great as it was in a excellent central location plus it was really good value. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good too. alli in all, its a great budget option.

The Colonial is in a great location on a nice block. The room was decent sized and very clean. The staff was not overly friendly, but they were helpful when you needed it. My only complaint is with the bathroom. It was very small (and this from a New Yorker who is used to tiny bathrooms). Also, we lost hot water for a bit one night, but it was back […] by morning. "Comfortable beds Good position Reasonable price"
The Colonial Hotel is well positioned within walking distance of Central Station, the main transport interchange in Stockholm. A small lobby/reception area and unfriendly receptionist didn't make the best first impression. Although.... the room was spotlessly clean, shower was wonderful, bed was super comfortable - what more could you ask for? Well, […] I guess a phone to speak to reception and some tea/coffee making facilities.... Breakfast was the usual continental affair, cereals, cold meats, cheese, DIY toast (plenty of opportunity to make your sandwiches for lunch!) :-) The only problem is the lift, it's one of those old things that relies on the last person to close the gate inside. Of course someone forgot and resulted in a walk from 5 flights above for me. This is not the hotels fault, but if you are mobility impaired, there is no phone to call reception to tell them to sort it out! So you'll have a long wait... Mycket centralt, nära till T-centralen. Tog rum med toalett och skicket på badrummet var förvånansvärt otroligt fräscht! Själva sovrummet i sig var ok, handdukarna i badrummet kanske inte var i finaste skick men badrummet var nytt och bra dusch!

rum renoverade på 70-talet med betongväggar. totell i korridoren med tunn, glipande trädörr med hasp. påminner om en källartoalett i gammalt gym från 70-talet
Huoneessa oli kaksi erillistä rautasänkyä ja kerrossänky. Haju oli kammottava, tinneri, lakkabens. tms,ilmeisesti oli jotain maalattu.Haju aiheutti migreenikohtauksen. Ei voitu yöpyä. Jouduimme vaihtamaan hotellia. Reklamaatio on vireillä.

De enige prettige ruimte is het ontbijt gedeelte op de begane grond.Het onbijt buffet is ook goed Wanneer je via de grauwe grijze stenen trappen naar de hotelkamerverdiepingen gaat wordt het er bepaald niet gezelliger op. De kamers zijn kaal en ongezellig en je hoort mede hotelgastenop de trapen lopen, mijn kamer grenzend aan het trappenhuis, zeer gehorig […] en hol Voor zeer kleine douche/toilet ruimte moest ik behoorlijk ver lopen nl. op een andere gang , waar ook teveel mensen gebruik van moesten maken. Bedden zijn redelijk. De badkamer direct in de buurt van mijn kamer waren ze aan het verbouwen. Door te vragen aan de receptie kwam ik hier achter., Slechte uitleg ! Tijdens mijn verblijf van 4 nachten is mijn kamer niet schoongemaakt, noch mijn bed opgemaakt noch schone baddoeken ontvangen. Na 3 dagen ben ik daar maar om gaan vragen en kreeg ik 1 badhanddoek mee. Al met al teleurstellend en eigenlijk een deprimerende hotel(kamer) omgeving. De naam van het hotel doet anders vermoeden. Het personeel is overigens wel vriendelijk en het ontbijt is OK. Ligging is rustig en gunstig max. 10 minuten lopen naar Centraal Station. Lisez la suite

Billigt bara billigt, personalen hälsar knappt och absolut hela stället är absolut helt utan charm. allt uträknat för att vara så billigt som möjligt. Inge tidningar i frukosten, billigast möjliga tristfranska till bröd och inge städning av rum om du stannar flera nätter. Första och sista gången

Kalt rum som hade sina törnar här och där. Saknade skrivbord eller annat bord. Bra säng, resten var acceptabelt med tanke på priset. Takbelysningen var stor kall lysrörsbelysning som ytterligare bidrog till kylan i rummet och den avskalade känslan. Frukosten var acceptabel men hade gärna sett något annat val av bröd då det endast fanns formfranska. Fick […] dock inte en känsla om att det var direkt smutsigt, men heller inte i toppskick. Det här hotellet var jätte mysigt, och jag rekommenderar det verkligen om man bara stannar ett par nätter. Ganska lyhört dock, men personligen stördes jag inte av det. Trevlig frukostbuffé ingick också, och receptionen var öppen dygnet runt, vilket är positivt! Helt klart värt pengarna! Kan verkligen se mig själv bo här igen när jag besöker Sthlm.

Väldigt enkelt. Frukosten ingick, men var inte god, bulkpackad ost o skinka, låg kvalité på allt. Inte positivt att dela badrum/dusch med alla i korridoren.
