One of the cleanest nicest hotel we've stayed in at Ocean city, MD. Not only clean but everything worked properly. They were also very welcoming during "Cruising OC" weekend.

"Only stay for the price, not for the comfort"
The rooms have a lot of space but the beds are very firm and were uncomforatble to us. The sofa was a little gross, it was made out of hard plastic or something similar and had what looked like cigarette burns in it - it must have been incredibly old. Also our A/C unit had been clicking on and off constantly when we put on the cold - it would simply […] not stay on. We told management who said they would look at it, but our stay was too short to have it fixed before we left. The boardwalk is not walking distance, but the beach is. However, to get to the beach you do have to cross over a highway. It was nice having a fridge and microwave in the room to keep leftovers from the nearby restaurants - a lot of good places within walking distance, which was especially awesome when we wanted some drinks without worrying about driving. The continental breakfast was not bad and stays open until 10am which was also very nice since we like sleeping a little late. Overall, it's not quite as nice and clean as the pictures indicate, but was a decent price. I would definitely return to Ocean City, but would probably not stay at this hotel again. Lisez la suite

I was not impressed and will not stay here ever again. The price was okay, it came with a continental breakfast that was iffy, and it's just a walk across the street to the beach, and a short drive to the boardwalk. However, we went to the beach in the morning and there were a dozen (literally, 12) huge garbage cans in the hallway we had to navigate […] around. No biggie, means they're cleaning the rooms, right? Well, when we came back 3 hours later, the garbage cans were still there and our room wasn't cleaned yet. Changed and went to the boardwalk for a couple hours, came back, garbage cans still there, room still not cleaned. Changed again and went back to the beach. No clue when they actually cleaned the room or took away all those garbage cans, but it was well after 4pm, and they started before 8am. The housekeeping staff must get paid by the hour. The room had a mini fridge and microwave which were good, but the rest of the building was completely out dated and had a funny smell that even my 5-year-old was complaining about - and she loves staying in hotels. The breakfast was just okay, the only good thing was waffles, and only a couple kinds of cereal. There also weren't enough tables, so you have to stand and wait, and there are more staff there to watch people eat than there are people, so it's a very crowded little area. I would have preferred to run to the store and grab some donuts - which they didn't even have. Next time, I will definitely look elsewhere. There are more conveniently located hotels that hopefully have better housekeeping and more up-to-date facilities. Lisez la suite

The staff was real nice, the room was clean and a lot of space. They din't have a swimming pool, to far from the boarwalk. A nice place to stay
"Best Western, basic but nice"
I would have loved a laundry facility and a pool, but for the price, a very pleasant stay. Found out our second day that we had access to the sister hotel's (Sea Bay) pool and laundry. Hard to figure where to hang towels and beach supplies b/c there were no room balconies. But the suite was spacious and VERY CLEAN, staff was very friendly, and the price […] was right. "Worst hotel stay EVER"
Although the hotel is dated, the following specific problems occurred during our stay: 1. upon arrival in our room we discovered long hairs (different colors) in both beds. Clearly the sheets had not been changed in our room; 2. drunken guests were roaming the corridor of our floor loudly cursing in front of my 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son; 3. […] one guest was lying drunk on the floor in the corridor; 4. Throughout the night drunken guests were loudly entering and exiting the building, slamming the doors as they went; and 5. At 3:15am a pizza delivery person loudly knocked on our door wanting to deliver pizza disturbing our family in the middle of the night. After the discovery of the hair, the hotel staff quickly arranged for the sheets to be changed. It was late at night that we checked in because with 3 small children we needed to get them in bed quickly. So we checked in and stayed the night. In the morning we tried to checkout but were told that we would lose our payment for the next night. Given that this part of our stay was in the middle of our road trip we couldn't easily change our arrangements (we did try to do so but would have lost even more money). Do not stay at this hotel. One elevator that was slow made the stairs a preferred option. No balcony was a disappointment leaving little space to dry beach towels or relax away from the kids. From the start the staff was very friendly and helpfull. They had no problem giving directions to all the spots the Locals go to for Fishing and food. The moring breakfast was good as well clean and quick to the beach. Stay here you'll be glad you did

During our recent stay, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was accommodating as well. Would definately stay here again!
We had a great stay. The staff was incredible. The only thing I would change is the breakfast area which does not have enough seats and the pool was at a different hotel. Other than those two miner things the hotel was great. I would stay again.

The Best Western is, like many hotels in OC, jammed into a space on the main road and offers no bay view. The room was spacious and clean, and despite the fact that our floor was occupied by partying college kids, relatively quiet. The service staff was cordial. "Great place in OC"
If you've ever stayed in a beach town, you know that the hotels there are basically all the same with a few dogs mixed in. This was your classic Best Western at the shore. Location was great, we were very comfortable, and the free breakfast including freshly made waffles was excellent.

We were disappointed with our recent stay. The mattress in the pull out sofa was stained with sticky maple syrup and was unbelievably lumpy. When my 9 year old laid on it he sank, and the springs popped up hurting his back. He had to sleep on the sofa cushions. The following morning the mattress was removed, and replaced. "Family Vacation"
My family and I enjoyed the room very much for the price. The location was fine if you didn't want to stay directly on the board walk. The free breakfast was okay. I have had more at other hotels for the same price. Wish there was a pool at the hotel, we had to go to another location a block away. Over all we had a nice time.

The hotel was clean for the most part. The staff was very friendly. It didn't have a pool, though, and I think I was under the impression that it did. We had the 2-rm suite, but it's really a one bedroom with a separate sitting area. Also, the bedroom does not have a door so there was NO privacy whatsoever. Overall, the stay was nice.

Considering I only stayed one night, during off season, it was a very good price and the accomodations were better than expected. Rooms were spacious and clean. It was not what I expected. I was traveling with my 14, 2 yr old and 8 month old. I booked at 2 queen with pull out sofa in the separate room. It was a pleasant surprise- very clean. Plenty of space for my two yr old to run around and for my 8 month old to roll around. No odors, clean bedding, clean bathroom. Not the most updated furniture, but reasonable. "Bestwestern O.C.MD-Bike Weekend"
The room was big and very comfortable,Everyone that worked there was frienndly and helpfull with anything that we needed. They also put out a hose,buckets and towels to clean my Harley !!! I was Impressed! I plan on going back next year and staying there again.

Hotel guest on my floor was mostly college students and they were partying all night long to the wee morning. Disturbing when you consider that the hotel has a policy for excessive noise but not being policed. The rooms is just what I expected but the bedding and the bed was not as comfortable as I would like them to be.
