Staff at Vacation lodge were very nice. Rooms were clean and location was great.

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The only downside were the towels which were thin and rough. The sticker on the bathroom mirror regarding the linen inventory was amusing because the only reason I could see taking one of the towels would be if they suddenly stopped making sandpaper!

Just stayed one night, however the hotel was close to where we needed to be. Breakfast was good. No problems!

enjoyed it very much. Will stay there next time i am in Pigeon Forge. Kathy at front desk was a very sweet lady and very helpful

We really enjoyed the lay-out(parking and room entrance on the back side of the building aaay from the public but the balconey was spacious and faced the street (which is great for the many car shows Pigeon Forge has). it is a good location

i was ver unsatisfiedwhen we got there and there was no rooms on the bottom floor with 2 beds and no elevator. and we are 60 and 62 years old . someone should have told us when we book our stay that we had to climb stairs

No room service the first night. Asked whether the sheets should have been changed and they said that they only change them every 2 days, but they would give me a set of sheets so that I could change them myself. The front desk had a bad attitude. Then they called me a little while later to tell me that they got the policy wrong and that sheets get […] changed every 3 days. After the 3rd day, I came back from hiking and pulled back the covers and there was a clump of black genital hairs on the bottom sheet. I went down to where the maids hang out smoking most of the day and told her about my surprise. She gave me a nasty response and some thug guy employee got in my face and told me to go back to my room. They came up a short while later and I showed her the sheets with the hairs. Her response, the hairs where too long to be from that part of the body. Then they changed the sheets. They don't train their employees that the customer is always right. Also, they brag about their breakfast. Well, it really stinks. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, 2 generic kinds of cold cereal, and once in a while bagels. Everything the same every day. 8:00 - 10:00am open. The problem is that if you get there at 9:30am you probably won't get bagels or cream cheese. They also offer juice, coffee, and milk. I could have stayed at a Days Inn for $15 less per night and would have had a cleaner room and better breakfast. Lisez la suite

People were freindly and helpful

My friends and I have always gotten a cheap hotel room and saved our money for shopping and shows so were very attracted to vacation lodge but when we got to the room were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room was the queen size bed were very comfortable and the balcony facing the strip was very nice would stay again on all upcoming trips and […] recommend it to anyone all around service maids desk everything was perfect breakfast wasn't that great but hey it was free and an added bonus to the already great steal of the room Lisez la suite

Overall our stay at vacation lodge was a very good experience. The motel has a very good location and was clean. The bed was a little hard, but that was to be expected with any hotel/motel, and the free breakfast was just right to get u going in the morning. We would stay here again in the future!

The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, but the pillows were flat and the sofa sleeper was horrible. The kids enjoyed the heated pool. The staff was very nice and polite. Will consider staying again, but will bring my own pillows.

enjoyed it. the door wouldn't close but maintenance took care of that in a timely manner.

Great breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our first visit to the Great Smokey Mountains area and we choose this location based on price and convenience to area attractions. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was excellent-scrambled eggs, donuts, biscuits, gravy, bagels, cofffee, and juice. Across the street is the area trolley […] which for a small fee will take you to area attractions. Will return to this hotel when we return to the area in the future. Lisez la suite

We had a wonderful trip and time in Pigeon Forge. and stay at Vacation Llodge. The motel was affordable, and is close to The Old Mill. The motel could use some refurbishnent but was clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was limited, but the staff worked hard to make sure the food was hot and did not run out. Would stay there again.

Great hotel, staff was very friendly, Breakfast to me was great big fan of the gravy and Biscuits, Homemade Biscuits! not a lot else to choose just Scrambled eggs,two cereals and donuts and bagels,Oh and orange juice coffee and milk but still good for me. Beds were very firm and i'm a soft bed person.. but the room was clean and the staff gave us extra […] pillows.. It is right at the end of the strip, so access was great, but not right in the middle of the noise. I would say with 5 of us in one room we were still quite comfortable and having a breakfast we all liked saved enough money to pay for the room! Lisez la suite

Read other reviews, so I knew to bring pillows, and they weren't kidding about that being a good idea. Otherwise, bed was comfortable and location was great. Everything else was standard for an inexpensive tourist area hotel.

We stayed here one night for a quick get away. The price was great, the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff members were very nice and competent, the location was wonderful and within walking distance to some great shops, and the breakfast was more than just your average continental breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The room was quite nice considering the age of the hotel. We did experience a few problems however. We had reserved a smoking double queen mini-suite several weeks in advance and the reservation was confirmed. When we checked in and were assigned our room it turned out to be a non-smoking room and we were told the only smoking room available was a room […] with one King bed. Since there were four in our party that was not an option. The clerk talked with the manager and decided that if we wanted to come down and pick up an ashtray we could smoke in the room we were in. I appreciated that they were willing to accomodate us but I couldn't help but feel badly for the next quests who paid for the room assuming that it was a non-smoking room as the door sign indicated. The pillows were very flat and the soaps and shampoo were a poor quality. Overall, considering the price, we felt we got our money's worth. Lisez la suite

This hotel had a dirty and unpleasant feel to it. The surrounding area was full of stray dogs and the internet in the hotel did not work half the time we were there.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The location was good for where we went during our vacation. It was a good price too. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort that's not too expensive.

Great hotel compared to another we stayed previously. Very clean, exception of the ciggerette smell (not their fault) beds were clean great location a street down from dollywood. Only exception is their towels are hard as rocks.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The beds were more comfortable than most cabins I have stayed at in the area and better than any hotel I have ever stayed at anywhere. It was very quiet considering the location. The best restaurants in the area were in walking distance. The staff was very friendly.You can not beat this hotel for the price.

My family's recent stay at the Vacation Lodge was a good one. For the price it was hard to beat. Room was clean, the complimentary breakfast was actually quite good, and the front desk was very helpful.

Breakfast was really not more than a continental breakfast plus scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits without the sausage. Service other wise was fine. The facilities are a little older than others in town, and thus could be updated a little. The big thing, however, was the smell of urine in the bathroom.

Can't be beat for the price. Great location, clean room, friendly staff, better than average breakfast

My 3 year old son had a sewing needle scratch his leg that was left in one of our beds. Took it to front desk and they didn't do anything. When we checked out told the desk clerk and she said we had to contact hotels.com. The hotel should have to answer to this not hotels.com.

Overall the hotel was very clean and conveniently located. They could have supplied more towels in the room and better pillows.

Hotel was as advertised and did include a microwave (clean) and fridge (also clean) in the room. The water would get warm for a shower but never scalding hot and the pressure is lower then I prefer but not too low that you don't feel clean after a shower. The breakfast includes biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and bagels. Pool looks nice and big […] but was just getting opened when we were there (2nd week of March 2012) All in all a nice hotel at a nice price and I would stay again Lisez la suite

Breakfast was to be 8-10 am showed up 20 minutes to 10 no breakfast and was told too late to fix more.

This was our first trip to PF. The Vacation Lodge we stayed at made our trip that much more enjoyable. It was very clean. Most importantly, the beds were super comfortable. Also, the free breakfast help us save money. Overall, it was great. We will defiantly stay here the. Ext time we visit Pigeon Forge.

Location was good for our needs...Close to shopping and eateries... Bead was comfortable but could have used some more pillows....Only thing I didn't care for the towels...they were a little rough...Overall great place to stay...
