"Absolutely nothing to complain about"

"Hope you don't like breakfast."
Not the worst motel I've ever stayed in, but certainly the worst breakfast I've seen at a place that offers free continental breakfast with stay. They had some stale cereal, but no milk, toaster waffles and bagels in a mini fridge with what appeared to be apple juice and a tub of country crock for everyone to use out of. There was coffee, not very good […] coffee, but it was the only plus. I can't forget to mention the over ripe fruit that was probably on the edge of spoiling. I had a room paid for through Hotels. com and they gave me trouble about honoring it. They kept saying they didnt have the paperwork and asking me to give them my credit card. I finally told them I was calling Hotels.com and surprise, surprise - they"found the paperwork"Avis véridique Hotels.com

All our online reservations come via fax and it usually take 5 to 10 minutes to reach at the hotel so of course we don't have info when guest walked in and looking for reserved room which made just a minute ago.
"Simple, affordable, no frills stay"
The hotel looks good from the outside. Easy parking access too. the first room we were assigned would not cool down after 3 hours and they graciously moved us to a downstairs room that was like an ice box! Mind you, the daily temp was 112-114 for our stay, so this room worked perfect. The bedding was extremely firm, but not uncomfortable, the room had […] a mid size frig that kept food and frozen stuff COLD! "Victorian Inn - Paris, Texas"
Rooms were ready early; clean, comfortable, & AC worked great! Although we didn't get a chance to see any of the sites located near by, had we stayed longer, our trip would've been remarkable. Bathroom door would not stay shut; carpet looked and smelled like a brewery; microwave knob missing (OSHA would love this)...but the place was cheap. "Hard bed, rude service, load people"
Let me just say, the bed was so hard that my husband went out and got the air matress for me to sleep on. The man who was checking people in was VERY rude and he put a bunch of young kids that stayed up all night right next to our room so we did not get any sleep, which is the only reason we stayed there to begin with. "Hotel stay 2 nights"
They did not have double beds in room which is what we had put on reservation and air was not on in room even though temp outside was 110 degrees. Took to midnight to cool room down enough to sleep. Since our hotel is open 24 hours to public and we always welcome our walk-in guests, so once in while it happen that walk-in guest comes first then last minute online reservation. We also have full size air mattress which we can offer for free when we have short in inventory. We have very high heat in Texas for over a month that is the reason a room is little more warm then normal days. For all the reservations we get there AC is on 2 hours prior to the arrival time.
"Victorian Inn - I left without staying..."
I left without staying because it was so dirty and I felt it was an unsafe environment for a family. Definitely do not stay with children. I did have to pay for the first night but was reimbursed for the second night I had booked.Avis véridique Hotels.com

We have many repeat guest who comes every year for reunions, holiday, and social family visits with the family and we never have any complaints regarding unsafe environment. We try our best to keep our hotel clean, comfort, and safe.
"Worst hotel experience I have ever had"
Although the hotel was in pretty good shape and the staff was friendly - they did not turn the a/c on before we got there and it was over 100 degrees in the room. We checked in at 9:30pm and it took until 2am for the room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. As you know we have record high heat in Texas for last 45 days. We have shortage in electricity in our town so we can not have all AC on all the time. It is so hot out side and we try our best have cool room for guest. For all reservations we get there AC is on before 2 hours of there arrival time.

"Victorian Inn Paris TX"
This hotel was mediocre as far as the room went. Thin towels, no facial tissue, few amenities. The worst part of the stay was the breakfast. It was bagels or toast or cereal or frozen waffles. We have micro/fridge/hair dryer/irons/board, coffee makers in all rooms, high speed Wi-Fi, 25 inch TV with movie channels, electronic locks, handicapped rooms, fax/copier. Also we offer complimentary continental breakfast includes fruit, coffee, juice, toast, bagels, waffle, and cereal. We believe that what we offer is call continental breakfast.

We have daily maid service to all our rooms and never been reported that any of the guest have smoked in non smoking rooms. We not saying that expedia guest is not telling truth but we try our best to provide best rooms to all our guests. Once we rent the room we don’t know that guest is going to smoke in or not. So maybe once in while guest do smoke in non smoking rooms and we don’t know about it. Our maintenance man check daily hotel condition, room comfort and cleanliness. Also we offer complimentary continental breakfast includes fruit, coffee, juice, toast, bagels, waffle, and cereal. As far as we know that what we offer is call continental breakfast.
"Nice for an overnight stay"
We got the room shortly before we got there and I requested easy access. We had 3 dogs between us. We were give corner rooms across from each other. The room was tidy, but older. Everything worked. Decorations were simple. Computer service was fine. We just got up and left the next morning and we did not get any breakfast there as there was none. It was fine for a night and not noisy even though it looked like it would be, We were just glad to be in Texas, away from the cold and finally being away from snow.
