un personnel tres agreables, serviable = professionnel j'ai vraiment passé un agréable séjour. A renouvler dès que possible.

L'hotel semble peu connu par les taxis. Le chauffeur a tourné 1h avant de trouver. Il est pas mal mais sans plus.

Le petit déjeuné gratuit consiste en 2 tranches de pain grillé et 2 pâtisseries; une eau de café. Le ménage est fait trop tard, vers 18 heures.

J'ai été accueillie par du personnel sympathique. Incident de clé qui n'ouvrait pas la porte de la chambre. Il a fallu attribuer une autre chambre. WC dans la salle de bains très bruyants. WC chambre voisine peu isolés au niveau sonore !! Restaurant: nourriture très basique.

Ce n'est pas du luxe mais c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix, Hôtel et chambre convenable.

Service téléphonique à l'international : déplorable. médiocre ou arnaque via opérateur. Petit déjeuner continental : Nul . Service de restauration : très très moyen Personnel à la réception : correct. Hôtel recommandé : Selon budget Pour info : aucun taxi ne connaît l'hôtel sur ce nom, garder en tête un point de repère.

This hotel is great value for what you pay. Good location between Oistens and The Gap, kids loved the pool and walk across the street to the beach. Staff friendly but don't expect much from the free breakfast. Will stay here again in future.

Sunbay is good value for money. Positive: - Very friendly and flexible staff. At check-in it was discovered that even that I had booked for 1 adult and 3 children, hotel expected just 1 adult. Hotel staff were very friendly, especially the ladies in the restaurant. Room was very clean, balcony was private and overlooked the pool area. Hotel restaurant menu was pretty basic, which was okay as we tried different restaurants in Oistens and the St. Lawrence Gap each evening. Access to Oistens from the hotel was a challenge, as the sidewalk […] on the main road would occasionally narrow. There is a secluded beach within 75 yards of the hotel, but we usually walked over to the beach adjacent to the Sun Bay's sister hotel (Barbados Beach Club). Three minute walk to a nice beach with chairs and umbrellas. Bottom line: clean hotel, reasonable prices, all the basics, a touch secluded, on one of the prettiest islands in the Caribbean. Free Internet, close to The Bach and OK rooms at a Nice rate is good. Close to Oystens and The Gap Slow service at The Resturant and the same free boring continental breakfeast every day not so good. Don't use the taxi-stand outside the hotel, expensive with crazy drivers! Walk to another hotel. Enjoy

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. I was desperate after being shafted by another beach house owner and had no time to look. The hotel has a gorgeous pool for children. That was the only highlight. Overall the service was poor. The food was sub par and quite expensive even at the sister hotel but it was much better there; there was no internet, […] and the beach had to be accessed from the sister hotel. The air conditioner is right over the bed so it blows on you all night long and you can't open the patio because the pool attracts a lot of mosquitos. Some of the staff were lovely but overall there lacks energy and a high regard for guests especially in the dining area. We often had to ask for service and basic things took too long and weren't done professionally. I would never stay at this hotel again and wouldn't recommend it. Lisez la suite

Sunbay was a great hotel to rest your head. We spent two nights here. The staff were great, friendly and accomidating. The breakfast was good, hot and fast. The room was clean and teh bed was comfortable. We will definatley stay here again. :)

My husband and I and another couple booked a 2-bedroom suite at this hotel. What we got was one private bedroom and an open room and bathroom. We were very dissatisfied and ended up renting another room. Two couples could not sleep privately. We felt that marketing the accommodation as two bedrooms misrepresented what it actually was.

good value for money by comparison to other places. Did a lot of research & this was most economical I could find. Lots of other places may seem similar on price but the others have lots of mandatory extras to pay like safe & air con etc. Dissapointed that there was no tea making facilities in the room tho..my only little gripe!!!

The Sunbay hotel was about 15 min from the airport without traffic. The rooms were simple but very clean. The first two nights we were on the 4th floor and didnt have sufficient water pressure from the shower. The 3rd night we were on the 2nd floor and had normal water pressure. A continental breakfast came with the price of the room. No coffee maker inside the rooms. A small frigerator was in the room. People seemed very friendly and taxi's were parked outside for your convenience. Curtis was our taxi driver and he was very nice and informative. This hotel is fine for those looking for a place to sleep at night, but not much more. The hotel has seen better days, as has its sister hotel down the street 'The Barbados Beach Club'. The neighborhood is a bit run down, and almost directly across the street from the hotel is a bar/car rental site. The bar doesn't open until late and so gets going […] only after 12 pm and the noise continues until 3 am. My last night there, there was a terrible female singer broadcasting at extra-loud volume for the whole neighborhood to hear - at 2:30 am Monday morning!!! Clean but very basic and plain hotel. All in all it was good value and its close to the airport. The water was a bit rough but OK. All in all it's average but good value.

Me and my family stay at the Sunbay Hotel this month and we had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel is located close to the beach.

The hotel was excellent overall. And I love the say and will be staying there from now.onwards while visiting barbados. Aka bGI.

it was a good valve for the price

not sure of which hotel to stay in we decided to go with the SunBay. This hotelwas much more than we expected for the money paid. Lets put it this way. I'll be staying there next july. We absolutely loved the hotel and the location is extremely convinent . They have my thumbs up.:)

The price and location was right. The place was clean and the pool was a great addition. Situated in a nice quiet neighborhood. Only gripe when i checked in the tv wasn't working but they fixed the problem soon enough. Would definately stay there again.

Hotel was okay, unfortunately our bathroom door once closed locked you in and you had to have someone else come and open the door for you to be able to get out.

If you are looking for only some place to sleep, this is it. Do not expect anything else.

I totally agree with the previous reviewers regarding pleasant staff, the dining at the hotel and the distance to food. However, once you learn how to travel by bus or mini-van you have got Barbados down to a science. The hotel advertised newly opened, what they meant was the closed down, change the name and re-opened with the same look! Although this hotel is not the most modern or detail oriented, the people were nice and it was a 3 minute walk to a nice beach. Good value for the price.

The receprionist was well mannered and polite as were all the staff. The hotel contains the minimum requirements. Don't expect things like prompt room service or significant menu variety. (room service is not a standard service apparently). It takes a while for staff to get to you because of the totuous layout. I used the room for a 6hr layover on my […] way to London and it was fine for that. This is a no-frills place for people in-transit or those on a low budget who can get around independently to get their stuff. There is a nice basic pool and a beach across the road. I would use it for my transit stop-over again but I wouldn't vacation there unless I was a bachelor with little requirements. The TV worked and there were a few basic channels available. There was closet space available and a small bathroom and adequate toilet. The room was a "double" which consisted of a queen size bed and a single bed next to it but I didn't care. If it was just the one larger brd the room would have been less cramped. There was a balcony with a pool view and two cheap plastic chairs and a little plastic table which were adequate since I only went out there to smoke anyway. When next I'm in transit I will stop by KFC which is on the way...or by Oistin's fish market and get some food to eat at the hotel. I am diabetic and had to wait for about 45mins to get a hamburger from the kitchen which is really not set up for extensive room service outside of "meal times". This hotel is not located on the water. It's sister hotel is down the street and on the water. The hotel seems to cater to all-inclusive extended stays. The pool was tiny and the area around the pool very cramped. The room was very spartan-tile floor, bed, one straight back chair. Not very conducive to staying in the room. The bathroom was the same. […] It looks like the rooms may have received a recent coat of paint to spruce them up. The service in the restaurant was mediocre. The continental breakfast was quite modest and every day exactly the same. The bar was also very modest and not open until 1500 hrs. The wireless internet didn't work for two days. The closest shops were 15 minutes walk away. The closest beach was 5 minutes walk away. All in all, with the rating of 2,5 stars very satisfactory.

Wir haben vor einer Schiffsreise eine Nacht im Sunbay Hotel übernachtet. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt käme das Hotel für uns nicht infrage, wegen der Entefrnung zum Strand (ca. 300 m) Das Hotel sieht von aussen etwas trostlos aus, der Innenhof mit Pool ist aber sehr schön gestaltet. Wir waren für zwei nächte vor einer Kreutzfahrt in diesem Hotel ! Wenn man nicht so hohe Ansprüche hat ist es völlig ok ! Zimmer sind sauber ! Klimaanlage ist leise ! Ruhige Umgebung ! Frühstück ist sehr einfach und recht wenig Auswahl ! Aber dafür kostet es auch nicht so viel ! Es gibt genügend alternativen zum essen in der Nähe !
