Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et bien entretenues. Le petit déjeuner est très correct, avec du choix : boissons froides et chaudes, gauffres, muffins, baggels, oeufs durs, beurre, confitures, céréales, yaourts... L'équipe d'accueil est très sympathique et de bon conseil. Un excellent restaurant de cuisine américaine typique se trouve juste derrière (the Old 395) : à fréquenter impérativement.

The Pinewood inn was a nice place to stay because of the location. Just remember you get what you pay for. I would stay here again, due to the location right off the road and down the streets from the Casinos. The staff was nice, I was able to check in before actual check in time. Good location walking distance from the ski lift and all the bars-stores but there is a problem with the noise. Actually walls are so thin and rooms are connected with the double doors. Of course those double doors have space below where the noise is coming from. Also, if you are downstairs you will hear everything upstairs. For the price it is pretty […] good deal. Good location, clean rooms but hope that you will not get a crazy neighbor. Keep in mind that if you have noisy neighbor front desk will be there to go out and talk to them at any time 24-7. "Not a pleasant stay"
Okay!! I know we were just staying at this budget hotel for the night before we hit our destination.. still.. you wouldn't want a dingy room where the heater smells and there is hardly any light inside..the microwave and fridge don't work!! and the bathroom door can't be latched..my skin got scraped off a bit when I tried to do it.. My daughter and I, went to Lake Tahoe for the weekend and stay at Pinewood Inn. It was bad experience :( They make customer feel uncomfortable at check in. don’t feel welcome. The room was not clear, the carpet was sicker; the towels smell bad, smell like oil, the toilet does not work well, and they really need to put in a new toilet that for sure. When […] we were checking out, they don’t seem to show that they care whether if we had a nice stay or not. They were mean. it was alright for the price you pay. its like u get what u pay for. the wifi didnt seem to work there like they said. the beds were clean but they were worn down like a fat person has been sleeping there. the shower was really small but the spa was a good size for two mid size people to fit in. Location is good. Short walk to shopping and dining area. Room is clean and tidy. The ONLY thing for me was that I don't remembered seeing trash basket in the room except a tiny one in the bathroom. They gave aus a little trouble about our check-in rate for the room we requested, but it was worked out. Very nice room and the view of snow falling really added to the wonderful windows they have. This hotel was great and we were so happy we stayed. Its a little dated but overall nice. The people running it are very nice as well. We ended up staying another night and the second room we got had a very large bath tub with jets. So awesome! We enjoyed it so much. Also the beds were pretty comfy too which surprised us. We will definitely be staying […] there again on our next trip to tahoe. Its also not too far from downtown. Check-in and check-out was quick and the room was clean which also included a small refrigerator and microwave. I stayed here because it had the lowest rate on hotels.com. "BAD TIME!!!!"
First night was uncomfortble pillows VERY flat. The next day had to go buy my own.The second night came in after the Tim McGraw concert was very tired went right to sleep!! I was awaken by someone trying to come through my wall behind my bed tried callin front desk to complain phone didnt work!!! They kids behind me continued to party I stayed awake […] finally in the morning I complained when I saw the staff was awake.I was told why didnt you come to office last night? Oh im sorry in my night clothes!! Long story short they would not refund me my money for the night and told me I should have woke up and went somewhere else and I still would not have gotten my money back!!!
