Je ne recommande pas l'hôtel en ce moment en raison des travaux (d'agrandissement ?) à proximité qui génèrent de nombreuses nuisances sonores. Avis très favorable en dehors de ce contexte

Personnel accueillant, hôtel bien situé et propre. Internet dans les chambres. Le petit déjeuner est satisfaisant

Hyper agreable dans l'ensemble, un peu de bruit du fait de la proximite avec l.aeroport, mais vite oublier, par la qualite de l'accueil, et du bon entretien du lieu. Je le recommande !

Le week-end, de nombreux Angelinos se rendent à Santa Monica pour nager dans l'océan et se détendre sur la Third Street Promenade. Le Getty Center, célèbre musée d'art, est niché dans les collines avoisinantes, au nord de Brentwood. Voisine de Santa Monica, Malibu accueille la Getty Villa et ses objets anciens.

"A éviter"
Motel à éviter à Santa Monica ! La propreté est plus que douteuse (nous avons trouvé des cafards et autres bestioles dans la chambre !!), l'hotel n'est pas entretenu et les autres clients assez louches. Le tout pour un prix pas vraiment bon marché. Franchement le pire hotel jamais testé (et je commence à en avoir testé beaucoup y compris dans des pays […] bien moins développés). "you know it's bad when..."
You know it's bad when the clerk is missing teeth, the room has no phone, the room key is a ...key. The room next to mine was aired out with a box fan and the windows had no screens. Yuck. It was a clean beat down room, close to everything but I didn't feel safe. Never again.

From rude employee to bed bugs, roaches, overflowing toilet, broke shower, no phone, no extra toilet paper, started with one forth role, microwave in top shelf of closet unplugged. Neighbors pounding on doors, no phone to contact walk up offiice.

I have stayed in all kinds of hotels, but this is definitely the worst one I have ever stayed in. For the condition of the place, I would have expected to pay 1/3 what I did. The walls are peeling, there is no coffee maker, The carpet was filthy. I have seen cleaner hotels in a red light district. There were cockroaches in the room. Furniture is falling […] apart. My expereince was a good one. I knew what to expect staying at a motel, this was one of the nicest motels I have ever stayed in. Great service!

Do not stay @ this motel. Ever. Only good thing about it was that it was located close to santa monica beach. The room was the worst i´ve ever seen.

Nice people here but a bit run down and no air con only a portable fan. small bathroom space. had a large cockroach first eve which we managed to kill. its ok nothing great but there are lots other motels on this street.

We were in the area for a soccer game with a bunch of guys and we were just looking for a cheap place to sleep and shower. That's what we got. The condition of the place is old and run down. Saggy mattresses, old decor, and no pool. But it is in a good location, pretty close to the pier, etc., and very inexpensive.

"The Santa Monica Motel"
Although old the hotel could have provided at least a plastic glass in my room for water. There were 4 hand towels, no bath mat or bath towel. It had two TV's one didn't work and the clicker on the other didn't work. There were no phones in the room to call and ask about the clickers. The room was clean and the shower was new.

I know Santa Monica well and needed to save some money this trip so took a chance with this motel. The folks at the desk were very polite, cordial, friendly; couldn't have been nicer. But the room was atrocious -- there were hundreds of flies buzzing around, no air conditioning and smells of smoke coming from outside where a dozen people were smoking […] and drinking. I have asthma. It was painful. The shower was great but no soap and the towels were the size of napkins. "Santa Monica Motel"
Good God, what a dump! Wouldn't take off our shoes in the room because the rug was filthy, and the sheets, although washed, were stained, as were the comforters and the blankets had holes in them. Our room was at the back, and there were 5 or 6 full garbage cans with no lids right outside our window, which was described as "being able to open." Not […] only would we not open the window because of the garbage, but there was NO SCREEN either. My daughter went out and bought a small fan so we could have some kind of air, and a candle so we could get rid of the smell in the room. It appeared that the bathroom had just been renovated, yay!! There was constant snow on all the tv channels, and the remote was taped on the back so the battery would stay in. Still, you had to hold the battery while you tried to change channels or volume. What they charged for this room is unbelievable to me. If I hadn't had to take my daughter to UCLA Medical in Santa Monica, I would NEVER have stayed here and will NEVER stay here again. "If you're desperate!"
My wife and I ended up in Santa Monica after an extended stay in California and stayed at multiple motels/hotels while there. We decided on this motel because we were tired and wanted something relatively close to LAX. The irony is that this location cost us the most and was the least favorable of all the places in which we stayed. Front desk help seemed […] nice enough but service was an afterthought. I received a key and a remote control for the TV as I guess the remotes don't stay in the rooms long. And the power button on the TV had been completely removed. I carry a cell for all my calls but couldn't help noticing no phone in the room. This location was the epitome of an owner or owners who are more interested in profit than in maintenance or upkeep of the property. No deadbolts on the door which means there was no more protection than what I have on my bathroom door at home. I wash my car with better towels than what were provided. The parking lot was very small with little to no room for manuevering a car, and I was driving a COMPACT car. I watched some poor guy arrive in a cargo van with no room to park it. He had to put in the adjacent parking lot as there was a portable building installed at the end of the lot taking up a considerable amount of room. Trust me, I am not a whiner nor am I impractical. But times are tough on consumers these days and this motel is NOT worth what I paid. If I could have gotten my money back, I would have and would have gone to the airport and stayed with my carry-on as a pillow. I did not/do not expect or want to pay for 4-star service or accommodations. I find it worthless as I see a hotel room as a place to stay between sight seeing and outings. With that said, what I experienced at this motel did not qualify for even 1-star service or accommodations. This place actually reminded me of some of the dives I stayed in when I was younger and did not know any better, nor did I care. But for the price, this place is ridiculous. Hotels. Lisez la suite

This motel was an atrocity. The service was rude and unhelpful, the rooms were dank with stained walls, old old televisions, the wardrobe was falling apart and there was no air conditioning. No AC in Los Angeles is horrible! It is in a poor neighbourhood and the parking is not safe. Would never recommend this hotel. Best to look for a branded place […] in Santa Monica such as Best Western/Travelodge or the like. Pay the extra bit. Lisez la suite

"WORST MOTEL EVER"
Stained window curtains, dirty floor, no tv, no telephone, rude employees. Makes Motel 6 look like luxury. I would have rather slept in my car than have stayed here for free. STAY AWAY!!!!

Buena situación, comodidad para aparcar, pero habitaciones dejadas. Muebles y cortinas en mal estado. Grifo de ducha casi no salia agua. Radiadores sucios, muy poco cuidado. Además antipáticos. Es una pena porque solo que pintaran y cuidaran un poco los detalles estaria bien.
