At first glance the hotel is not much and the neighbourhood is a little ghettoish... however!!!! All staff at reception were very nice and welcoming, room was clean and quite nice, balcony was nice as well, we put the seats from the bedroom outside was perfect to sit and have a smoke outside. This hotel is in a dodgy area, but we did not have any problems at all. It is less than a minutes walk from the metro. I would recommend this hotel for any budget travelers. The rooms were comfortable enough and the towels replaced each day. Cheaper and more comfortable than staying at any hostel in Athens.

This is a terrible place to stay. It was old, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, the entire bathroom was awful and the walls were paper thin. Our room was full or mosquitos all night and no matter how many we killed more would soon appear. There were loud noises and shouting all night long which were made worse by the fact that they echo along the […] dark corridors (the lights didn't seem to be working). The original lock on the door had been broken off and the one that had been stuck on to replace it was so dodgy we felt we had to barricade ourselves in with chairs and suitcases just incase. The hotel staff is very accommodating and speak several languages. Free wifi is available which is a nice perk. The neighborhood is slightly sketchy at night but there are a lot of convenient shops nearby, including a kebab joint behind the imperial hotel which was phenomonal - only 2€! It is clean and safe and very close to the metro and bus lines. Plenty of cafes and bakeries. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There's a fresh produce market right infront of the hotel on Wednesdays. The neighbourhood gives you a local atmosphere and is not touristy at all. Some people will tell you that it's a dangerous and seedy area, […] but that is simply not true. Not once did we feel unsafe. Located in Omonia, so a bit sketchy but as long as you're aware of your surroundings it's fine. Room was clean and decent size.

The hotel was not in the centre of town at all and I had to take a bus there, but once I got there is was a nice hotel. There was an amazing large pool out back which was great!

Good: You can see the hotel outside the metro-Metaxourgio, just walk 3min. Cheaper. Small supermarket is near around. Bad: So noisy at night as the bar in downstair, the lamp in road is so darkness, so show that its not safety. old old style hotel.

늘 호스텔월드에서 검색하다가 여기서 검색해서 정말 호스텔들보다 싸서 가게 됐는데, 가격대비 이보다 더 좋을 순 없습니다! 정말 청결하고, wifi도 방에서 잘 되고, mathasou~?메트로역에서 가깝고! 코스모스에서 이틀자고, 그 전에 같은 역 근처 아폴로호텔에서 이틀잤는데! 여기가 훨씬 싸고, 조용하고, 인터넷잘되서 좋아요! 물론 아폴로보다 싼 만큼 아침은 안주지만! ㅋㅋ저는 며칠 후 다시 아테네 가기때문에 어제밤에 다시 또 코스모스호텔 예약했습니다! ^^

Wir haben das (damals) billigste Hotel in Athen gesucht, das über Hotels.com gebucht werden kann und wurden zu Cosmos geschickt. Das Hotel haben wir schnell gefunden, auch um 01:00 Uhr nachts konnten wir einchecken, was keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir brauchten und nicht mehr. Was einen eventuell stören könnte, ist, […] dass die WC-Spülung im Bad recht laut ist und die Zimmer in den Stockwerken drüber und drunter über einen Schacht vor dem Fenster zu erreichen sind, deshalb haben wir nachts vermutlich ein paar leicht schlafende Menschen geweckt. Wir wurden aber nicht gestört, achten Sie einfach darauf, dass die Tür zum Bad geschlossen ist. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar, es gibt tatsächlich free W-Lan, dafür aber kein Frühstück. Letzteres wollten wir aber auch gar nicht, selbst an der Ecke Brot zu kaufen ist doch viel schöner. Lisez la suite

The bed is not clean, which made me iching all the time. I cannot turn on the light in the wc due to the power was on and off frequently.

The hotel is very worth. It is close to the Metro and the staff is friendly and nice. However, it needs to be careful when go to the hotel at night.
