really nice hotel. We stayed 4 nights in a studio apartment. The breakfasts I would rate as fair (basic ie. eggbeater omlettes, but make your own waffles). Mon-thur hotels offers light dinner and drinks included in the price. The bed was very comfortable, and the size of the room really large. Don't be afraid that it is close to the airport as in the […] 4 nights we hardly heard a noise. Really surprising but welcomed. This hotel is the perfect place to stay at in San Diego for families with children. Kitchen, free breakfast, and "Happy Hour" with free wine and food. Very close to airport, downtown SD, and the beaches. The surrounding neighborhood is great with parks, shopping, and dining. Would definitely recommend to others.

This hotel has a great location and good customer service. My daughter used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed them both. We took a short walk over to Oggi's for a pretty good dinner. Overall, I would return to this hotel, in a heartbeat, again.

Great all around. Met all of our needs and staff very accommodating. Good options for food and walking on paths right out the door. Hide-a bed was not comfortable but the staff provided roll-a-way promptly at no charge.

Stayed for spring break with family/two kids. Loved the location, amenities (especially free breakfast and free dinners/drinks), clean room and affordable price. Quiet location and convenient to all attractions and beaches. Close to Trader Joe's which then makes the kitchenette quite handy. Coin laundry available in each building. Rooms were not as spacious as I experienced before, but quite comfortable and clean. A/C motor was loud and it's in a strip mall so you will hear cars. I would go again cuz it's much larger than a usual hotel room, bkfast hearty, easy in/out access and to old town, convention, and sites. bus and trolley access too.

The outdoor fire place is a wonderful location to sit and watch the stars and the water. Jogging trails are on the edge of the water, and are really convenient. When you consider the free breakfast and free parking, this hotel offers great value for San Diego. i will definitely make this my go to hotel for visits to teh city.

I loved this hotel because it was very conveniently located- close to the attractions- sea world, gass lamp, zoo. Further the neighbor hood was posh and very kid firendly. everything was ok

breakfast was great, incl. gluten free options like fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon... outdoor pool heating was not too bad. Pool towels provided too. I stayed 5 nights at Homewood Suites by Hilton at Liberty Station and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very neat and clean. Centrally located to the San Diego attractions. We really enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites in San Diego. All our interactions with the staff were pleasant. We'd called the hotel to let them know we'd be checking in late, and we were able to arrange for a free shuttle ride from the San Diego airport, which was very helpful. Great space for the kids with the suite, great price. Walls were a little thin, could hear the neighbor blasting his tv at night. Would definitely come back.

We stayed down their for a week end and let me tell you its a great place to stay.The suite was roomy and comfy but mister Hilton why the plastic cutlery and plates for the buffet breakfast I know it was busy but come on 1 star hotel yes but a Hilton never and we stayed at a couple of places while in the USA and all Hiltons

With a car you will find all that you need, without one you will find it a little difficult... Being able to cook was great, and the supermarket is just two minutes away.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen/loungeroom. The suite was clean, comfortable and quiet. We didn't hear any aircraft noise despite being so close to the airport. And trust me I listened very hard, I'm a flight attendant and very sensitive to aircraft noise. The staff were friendly, the hotel is in a great position, close […] to shops, and being away from the city is a bonus with family. Very accomodating for a family of 5 with lots to do nearby. Perfect for a Sea World vacation, nearby park and great walking trail.

I like the location of the hotel. Convinient to places I like to visit. Ameneties are excellent, pool and other recreational area clean and is very accomodating to guest with children. My first and will come back and definitely will recommend to friends. Thank you.

This hotel worked very well for my family. Great amount of room, wonderful breakfast to start the day and great activities. My kids were just as exctied about the hotel as Sea World.

The location is convenient to tourist attractions. The rooms are big and good for families (has extra space for kids' stuff). Would recommend to others.

The hotel is situated near the naval bases so it is a pleasure to see the men and women who serve our country at base. The hotel is also near some great restaurants and a Starbucks. Oggis had great food and beer. Even with GPS it was a little difficult to get to the I-5, but I will blame that on the driver of the vehicle. Breakfast was great but it does get crowded, but there are also televisions which we were able to watch the Womens World Cup. The room was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities ( a wine opener which I forgot to bring) of a fully equipped kitchen. I will definitely stay again while visiting family in San Diego area. The grandkids loved the pool and it was heated just right. We absolutely loved staying at Homewood Suites at Liberty Station. It is such a great location being minutes from Seaworld, Mission Beach, Old Town, Seaport Village and the Gaslamp. The walking trails surrounding the property were wonderful. There are two great playgrounds just down from the hotel along the walking trail. Loved the fact that their were […] lots of restaurants around and a Trader Joe's and Von's Supermarket. It was nice having a hot breakfast each morning and a dinner during the week. The Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Airport/Liberty Station was a great place to stay. The one bedroom suite we stayed at was ample space and had good kitchen facilities that included a Fridge/freezer, cooker, Dishwasher, Microwave and a good set of crokery, pans and utensils. For our stay there was complementary meals if you did not fancy cooking […] yourself although these were only of average quality. The Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Airport/Liberty Station was especially good for people who are driving which we were not, however the taxi fares into central San Diego centre were never more than $15. San Diego has some great attractions including Balboa Park, Old town San Diego, Sea cruses and the gaslamp area. However we did not feel safe in many parts of San Diego. The Hotel is located near the airport in an area called Liberty Island which has easy access to the sea, parks and a walkable grocery store (VONS) similar to a Waitrose store. This was a quiet area with not many people around. There was free WLAN in the room and around the hotel. We would stay here again. Lisez la suite

This is an idea location. There is a canal and a walking path leading to a beautiful park and a small body of water that creates a peaceful atmosphere. The staff takes efficiency and customer service to the highest level.

would definately stay at this hotel again. Rooms were a good size and clean. Only issue was shower head was not functioning at 100%. Staff was helpful and very pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was good. Hotel well kept up.

If you have a boat or PWC this is a great place to stay. Close to Shelter Island Launch Ramp. Good parking for pull through. Big room for family. Only issue expensive, I was there on a Saturday night with Comicon so the pricing was premium however they did have free shuttle service to downtown and we had a great time.

Easy access from I5 (not right at an exit, but not far and route is clear). We had a problem with our tv but the staff fixed it without incident. Right down the block from a Trader Joe's. The layout of the suite is soooo much more comfortable than a typical hotel room-makes a huge difference in quality of stay. My family and I have always enjoyed this hotel in San Diego. This homewood suites is soooo unique others don't compare. Perfect family hotel. Love the free parking and free airport shuttle service. Don't like to pay hidden FEES. Staff is super friendly.

My family and I enjoyed this hotel immensely. It was in a beautiful part of San Diego. The rooms were clean, spacious and the pool was a big hit with my girls! We also enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast on site. We will definetely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All employees were very friendly. The property was very well kept and the location was wonderful. We spent a week there at this location and plan to tell our friends to stay there when they are in the SAn Diego area. We plan to come back too. Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay.

The hotel is in a good location to sight see, but too close to the airport, lots of planes going overhead. Good insulation so the plans aren't super loud unless the windows are open. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on let alone sleep on, the roll away bed was better but still low quality mattress. The bed in the bedroom was also very uncomfortable, […] no padding, springs in back. After 3 days I was so sore and my 16 year old daughter was too. The bathrooom was really small and had only 1 sink. Very hard to get ready with 3 girls! Not enough lighting and no magnifying mirror either. Shower was standard, nothing special. Free breakfast was nice but ends early so you either have to send someone to get it for you or go down half asleep. Lots of people at breakfast, food goes very fast, were out of a lot of food the 3 times I tried to get breakfast. No DVD player in room you have to go check one out at front desk, it was free, but another hassle and had to make another trip to turn in. DVD players are cheap and should be in every room. Really like the full kitchen although we only used the coffee maker and refrigerator. Only one ice maker in the entire building. We were on the 4th floor so had to go all the way to 1st and across the building to find it. The ice maker in the frig tasted like onions and probably didn't have a filter, gross. Lisez la suite

We were very impressed with the hotel in general from the extended time they gave us at check out due to the marathon and overall friendliness. the rooms were very spaceous and the buffet breakfast was awesome. I really liked having the laundry room as the Marriott on harbour blvd didnt have one. This is definitely a plus for me. My husband is in S.D […] twice a month on business and really noticed the convenience of where the hotel sits away from alot of traffic. Very quiet. Even though it was near the airport, you didn't hear the planes all night. I never sleep well in hotels unless I bring ear plugs and I forgot them and was still able to sleep well. Breakfast buffet was great. They would even get groceries for you if you needed and didn't charge a fee for that service. Our 2-brm, 2-bath suite was above our expectations. Comfortable, spacious and at a very reasonable rate. Staff was over-the-top helpful in assisting us with driving plans. Highly recommend.

The Homewood Suites in San Diego is highly recommended. We had a two bedroom suite. Pros: Clean , spacious, walking distance to VONS grocery store, and other restaurants, hot breakfast buffet in the morning with lots of variety, 9:30 am shuttle to trolley tours of San Diego, on river walkway, staff friendly. Cons: None
