Excellent hotel - photographies revelatrices de la qualité et de l'ambiance de l'hotel - vue magnifiques pour les chambres au 5-6 eme etages. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Bon hôtel sur tous les plans: la vue sur le Danube est très sympa (si l'on a la chance d'avoir pu avoir une chambre avec cette vue). Petit-déjeuner très correct même si un peu cher. Le personnel est vraiment aidant.

A really pleasent clean, comfortable hotel with excellent and friendly service. I would stay here again. Plus there is a wonderful cafe around the corner for breakfast!

Excellent Hotel, friendly staff, very well located for many tourist attractions. Best mattress i have slept on! Breakfast a bit pricey, but plenty of choice and quality of food.

We loved the Lanchid hotel at the bottom of the Castle. It was comfortable, quiet and stylish. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, in fact they seemed to go out of their way to help. We had no complaints whatsoever and would recommend it. If we ever go back to Budapest, we will stay there.

From the moment of arrival we were treated very well and check in etc was a breeze, for a last minute room the price was ok, but the bathroom was missing light bulbs and flooded every time you took a shower....other than that the room was immaculate. The service of the chaps on the desk was great and they helped with taxi's etc and every possible question […] was happily answered. The bar itself was a bit steep, but its a hotel bar, so you expect it...The big shock was that after pre paying the room, upon checkout I recieved a bill for about £50 this was the city tax, which is fair enough but one night having some drinks with the staff I tipped them well, and they presented myself and friend with some drinks...we thought this was a nice gesture, but in fact it was put on our room bill...without any knowledge. The only other bad incident was that I asked for an Iron and ironing board, and they advised me that the maid would iron a shirt and pair of trousers for me before a dinner out, so i left them with the clothing and sure enough, it was done and in my room when I got back from a day out.....At the end of my stay though, I then recieved a laundry service bill for £30....bit shocking for a shirt and trousers....... Ladies and Gentlemen! Forget about other hotels. I personally had a chance to try out the second best suite at the Marriott, a brand new room at the Royal Park Boutique Hotel and many others recently. This hotel BY FAR the best! When I arrived, check-in was smooth and easy. They greeted me professionally and instructed me about the parking rules. There […] was no space at the free parking only on the other side (which is for surcharge) and the hotel receptionist volunteered to get in his car and park on the other side so I can park at the free spot. Now, that is customer service! The service was prompt and professional throughout my entire stay and there was nothing I could not ask for. The hotel inside is very modern and the design is really awesome. The rooms are big enough, well-arranged and organized and modern. The view (it is worth upgrading for a Danube view) is simply fascinating. In the night time the lights change so it is very intimate from the inside and outside as well. At this hotel, simply everything makes sense (which I can not really say when I talk about other hotels in Budapest). I - myself - was born in Hungary but live in the USA now and travel a lot so I really have a good comparison when it comes to hotels. For the price they charged it was a steal and highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to others. The other thing people might like who stay here is that they have 3 Hungarian channels and the rest are all English, Spanish, German, Italian ...etc. The staff's English and German skills are better than the big average in Hungary so I am sure that you will enjoy your stay here!!! Lanchid Hotel situated in Buda. Very conveniently located across the bridge from Pest. Clean comfortable and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend as a good location for a stay in Budapest.

The view was fantastic with Danube, Chain Bridge, Parliament buildings especially at night with the lighting. The room was not large, but was efficient like a business hotel. The breakfast was expensive for an average buffet type,

This hotel is certainly past its best. Frankly it needs a refurb, and to find some staff who are actually capable of efficiently fulfilling their role in the organisation. I won't be returning.

Great view of the Danube, real close to the bridge, bike rentals nearby and the best eatery I've been to across most of Europe - Tabani Teraz. The room is elegant, clean, and with wifi. Everything is tip top.

Friendly staff, fresh rooms with a beautiful design. Wonderful view over the Buda Caste. Highly recommended!

A design hotel with interesting architecture in a great location. Very friendly service. Really the only thing which was not perfect was the size of the room (on the small side) and the view. My advice: - some rooms seem to be bigger so maybe you can negotiate one of them when you make the booking or check in - the view towards the Danube is simply […] fantastic. However my room was in the back facing the Buda castle. This sounds nice, but you actually see the lower part of the wall. Not bad but not really exciting. Also a tourist path goes alond the wall and the passing people can see into the room. So just make sure that you will have a Danube view room and you will be very happy. Lisez la suite

Kényelmes, tiszta, csendes szobák. Kellemes pihenés, lélegzetelállító panoráma a Dunára. Ha legközelebb Budapesten járok, ide fogok visszajönni. Köszönöm !

Muy buen hotel, remodelado y con extraordinaria vista al rio. Aunque la ubicación es buena las atracciones están poco retiradas para ir caminando, frente al hotel esta una parada de tranvía y es recomendable comprar pase de transporte desde el principio

La ubicacion del hotel es excelente. La vista de las habitaciones son increibles directamente hacia el Puente de Cadenas. Lo unico que no estaba incluido el desayuno. Pero del resto no tengo nada de quejas.

Bor man lite höre upp på hotell L19 så har man en fantastisk utsikt över den vackra Budapest. Donau med broarna och den underbara Pest sidan mitt emot. Stnadarden är mycket hög och allt ligger nära. Fina omgivningar med Buda slottet och den gamla staden bara en stenkast därifrån. Rent och fräscht badrum och bra service med trevlig personal.

Rummets ljudisolering är utmärkt, det kändes som på landet, fast mitt i storstadens puls. Ytterst viktigt i en så bullrig stad. OK frukost, men det övriga man kan få att äta är tråkigt. Personalen är korrekta, men inte särskilt intresserade. En trestjärnig standard (definitivt inte en fyra!).

I have already visited several Hotels from the "Design Hotels" group and I always loved the experience. This time unfortunately was not the case. When we arrive to the reception it took about 20 min to find our reservation. The Hotel room is simple but nicely decorated. However it is miles away from other hotels from the group. I was specially disapointed […] with the information at the reception. Two times I was advised not to use my car and take a taxi instead due to the difficulty to find parking place. As a matter of fact in Budapest is very easy to park on the weekends. But what I did not appreciate was that the proposed taxi had a much higher rate than the normal price I paid later on when I took the taxi myself. The hotel is in a very nice location and the building is awesome. But neither the room (too noisy due to the bathroom exhaust) not the service was what I expected. I will continue visiting hotels from Design Hotel group, but on my next stay in Budapest I will certainly go to another place Lisez la suite

Wer es modern, sauber und schlicht mag ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Der Ausblick auf Pest und Kettenbrücke aus dem Hotelbett ist einzigartig. Straßenbahnhaltestelle (fast) vor der Tür.

De kamers aan de voorzijde zijn redelijk luidruchtig en het mooie terras met uitzicht is er enkel voor enkele suites. De gevel en de hall zijn redelijk design, maar de kamers zijn eerder gewoon te noemen. Toch een goed adres, maar niet echt fantastisch. Kies toch beter voor de Pest-kant want daar ben je bij alles op loopafstand. Hier moet je telkens […] een bus (16 of 105 die regelmatig rijdt) of taxi nemen. Lisez la suite

Hotellet ligger meget godt i forholdt til trafik. Nemt at finde parkeringsplads foran hotellet, som er gratis. Ved siden af receptionen ligger hotellets bar, som er ikke rygefrie.Det er lidt uheldig placeret med hensyn til reception og røg. Ellers en pæn lille hyggelig hotel, med venlig betjening.
